eh... about the same, these are the kind of tomes nobody has time for in any adventure. 😅

they are tomes that require you to have two months of free time in the middle of an adventure to be studied. 90% of the adventures i played as a player or a gm were over in about 2 or 3 weeks of adventuring where level 1 peasants became level 14 gods at the rate of 1 level every 1 to 4 days. (averaging 1.5) I rarely if ever went beyond level 17 and it still does not take much more than 1 month in-game where people have zero breathing time. Since characters whose adventure is done rarely get reused as people like to make characters at a faster rate than they like eating chips... these tomes never got used once, except as a "postmortem" thing as the adventure had already concluded but now my character got something cool to do after. 😅

Yeah, video games might have a "click and you get free stats" approach but the manuals there, as written, require weeks of downtime to study them. So unless you have episodic adventures where the adventurers actually have free time between one level up and the next... these tomes are unuseable. Aaaaand, let me be honest i have seen maybe 1 or 2 adventures with that structure. But that is it.
