Meet Agaar, the Gelatinous Bear - May's Big Bad! 🐻 (Patreon)

Agaar was once an ordinary bear who wandered into the Carrageen Caves in search of a place to hibernate for the winter. Some caves were too windy, others too large. Delving deep into the cavernous passageways, Agaar discovered a grotto covered in red algae.

Something about this cave seemed just right.

As Agaar settled into a nest of dried algae, it discovered an amber skull. The seaweed shifted around Agaar, transforming into the likenesses of little bear cubs that whispered to Agaar telepathically.

In exchange for a place to rest, Agaar agreed to become their new guardian. Not understanding the implications of the arrangement, Agaar slumbered for many months. 

When it awoke in the spring, Agaar discovered it had become an ooze. Its flesh, bones, and fur were replaced by a gelatinous, semi-translucent jelly.If you've ever asked the question "What if they fight a gelatinous ooze except it's an enormous gummy bear?" than Agaar is just for you!
