Out in the wilderness, wild beasts and fey creatures defending their homes obstructed the Noble Task. The Reaper cut them down and found it could use their component parts to create efficient construct drones to aid it. Fey creatures suffused with incredible magic yielded the most impressive results. 

The Reaper experimented, using organic parts to augment itself, reinforcing its design with magically augmented bone and sinew, dramatically increasing its strength, durability, and size.
