I have mixed feelings on the Death Penalty. My brothers best friend at 16 was stabbed to death by his own father in 1986 (waterbury, CT) trying to protect his mom from being stabbed by her ex husband (Robert Brenton Sr) I was 10 and Bobby was the nicest kid in the world. For years I wanted him to die and was pissed when his sentence was never carried out. After learning about the abuses Robert sr suffered as a child, I'm not surprised at what happened. He isnt going to die but what gives me peace is knowing he has to live with what hes done.

Yeah, he was caught pretty quickly and been in jail ever since. I looked up the details of the case and all about him years later. Mental illness and abuse rampant in the fathers family. Truly horrific what he did to Bobby, though.
