Summer had not passed fast enough for Mindy's liking. High school was fun. She’d been popular and loved the friends she’d made there. She would always love them, even though they’d all moved away and run off to colleges and universities all over the United States. They didn’t seem to mind leaving Ji-Min home with her parents for the summer, working the same job she’d had since she got her license: delivering food for her dad’s restaurant. She supposed she should be glad she wasn't washing dishes or working in the overheated kitchen.

With vacations taken and the final farewells given as friends left for school and their new lives, Ji-Min readied for a college experience at the university less than ten minutes from her parents’. Freshman orientation was a whirlwind of fresh faces and rules because Ji-Min put her foot down and demanded to live on campus rather than with her parents while she went to school. One of those new faces, at one of the many student-worker booths, had given her a new job.

“<I promise, Appa. I’ll be fine.>” Ji-Min told her father over the phone for the hundredth time. Speaking Korean, her roommate couldn’t understand what she was saying, so she put her father on speakerphone so she could get dressed.

Her roommate, already dressed in a modest long-sleeve tee shirt and long, loose maxi skirt, was reading a daily devotional book at her desk. Mindy had thought her family was religious before she met Rachel. She’d never met anyone as devoted to anything as Rachel was to her religion.

“<I still don’t understand why you want to live in that dorm. We live minutes from campus. You could just stay here!>” Her father exclaimed.

“<I want the full college experience!>” Mindy answered. She checked herself in the mirror and zipped up her gray pencil skirt. She had to hop to get the zipper over her stocking-clad butt. Once done, the pencil skirt sealed tightly over her squared hips and round butt.

She smoothed the front of her outfit and checked the mirror. The skirt was tight, but she didn’t mind so long as she felt sexy. She didn't have much in the way of hips, but her butt looked good, which made her happy.

“<I know what goes on in those dorms!>” Her father protested. “<I was a student once!>”

“<Oh?>” Mindy’s tone shifted to tease her dad. “<And what did you get up to?>”

“<Nothing!>” Her father said far too quickly for him to be telling the truth.

Mindy adjusted her blazer after she pulled it on. “<All I want is a chance to try and be on my own, Appa. Don’t worry. You raised me right. I even got a job to help cover the cost of the dorm like you wanted!>”

It was partly true. She'd never make enough to cover college room and board on the minimum wage job. When she crunched the numbers, she realized it would be cheaper to rent an apartment, but student loans didn't pay rent, only room and board. The inflation of the costs couldn’t possibly be related.

“<You have a job here!>” Her father would not let her quit. “<We’ll always need you at the restaurant.>”

Mindy checked herself in the mirror and sat to put on her heels. “<I know. But we agreed I needed to gain more business experience, remember? School will help me so I can manage the restaurant, do the books, whatever we need.>”

“<Where is this job? What will you be doing? Working in the cafeteria?>” Her father asked.

“<No, I got a job in the marketing department. It’s a good experience for the future.>” Mindy said. She buckled her shoes and stood up, flattening her suit and making minor adjustments to her hair in the mirror.

Her father mumbled something into the phone that she missed, but she knew from long experience with him it was the same mutterings he made every time he could no longer argue with her or her mother. He’d never admitted to being wrong about anything, but he would end the conversation or change the subject, and that was close enough to victory.

“<I love you too, Appa.>” Mindy said, deciding to interpret his muttering as affection. “<Now I have to go, or I’m going to be late.>”

“<Okay, okay.>” Her father said. “<We’ll see you tonight?>”

Mindy picked up her phone, ready to end the call. “<Yes, Appa. Love you!>”

“Okay, okay.” Her father said, switching to English. “Love you too. Make us proud!”

“Yes, Appa.” Mindy said and ended the call.

Rachel, her college roommate, looked up from her desk. “Good luck today! New job, right?”

“Yeah.” Mindy checked her appearance one last time, flattened her skirt, adjusted the tuck of her blouse, and checked her hair before smiling at her reflection. She'd tied her ebony locks into a tight bun for the professional look. She was confident she looked the part of a businesswoman and couldn't wait to get started, even if she was a little nervous. Working for someone who wasn't her mother or father would be a new experience.

“Have fun!” She said to Rachel.

“See you at dinner!” Rachel called after Mindy.

Mindy left the dorm with her bookbag over the same shoulder as her purse. Her heels clicked on the tile floor, and she waved goodbye to her suitemates as she left.

It was a short downhill walk through the sweltering air on the first Tuesday in September. She aimed for the admin building door nearest her dorm. The air conditioning embraced her like a splash of fresh air when she escaped the heat, and she was glad to be indoors again.

“Thank you!” She said to the guy who held the door open for her. He was going the opposite way, so she didn't spare the short Indian guy a second look as she made her way to the office where her new manager was supposed to reside.

She knocked when she arrived, and Beth opened the door with a delayed smile. “Mindy, come in.”

Beth was an older woman compared to Mindy, who was eighteen. If Mindy had guessed, she would have put Beth in her early thirties. She looked and dressed like a girl boss. She wore a black suit and skirt combo with a soft pink v-neck blouse that made her look ready to take on the corporate world. A style Mindy attempted to mimic in her ensemble.

Beth led the way into her office, heading toward the adjoining door that linked her space to the larger rectangular office Mindy had seen before on her tour.

“Usually, you'll use the other door when you report for work.” Beth explained. “But let me help you get settled.”

Mindy nodded eagerly and followed Beth from her personal office into the larger space. The door opened almost in the corner of the other room. The student worker workstations started immediately to Mindy’s left and wrapped around the near and left-hand wall. Facing those workstations with its back toward the front door to the office in the opposite corner was another desk like Beth’s. In the center of the room was a large table with the printer and mailing supplies on the far wall. To her right was a wall of windows that looked out into the admin building’s interior courtyard with its refreshing greenery, paved pathways, and bright flowers.

“Tara, where is Arthur?” Beth asked.

“Not here yet.” Tara said. She was a tall, lithe Junior with long, straight brunette hair. She wore a gray pleated skirt that came to her knees and a white blouse.

Beth looked meaningfully at the clock on the wall but couldn't fault Arthur for his absence. It was still ten minutes to eight, and the shift didn't start until then.

“Do you prefer Ji-Min or Mindy?” Beth asked Mindy quietly.

“Mindy, please.” Mindy answered.

“Mindy, this is Tara. Tara, this is Mindy.” Beth introduced the pair. “Mindy will be joining us this semester.” She explained, then turned toward Mindy and gestured toward the workstation next to Tara’s. “Why don't you log in and get set up. I'll get you the training binder, and then hopefully Arthur will be here, and he can show you the ropes.”

“Okay.” Mindy said. She turned toward the workstations and pointed toward the spot next to Tara. “Is that seat taken?”

“Nope.” Tara assured her. “By all means.”

Mindy took the chair as Beth disappeared into her office. “How do I log in?”

“It’s your student account and password.” Tara explained.

“Cool.” Mindy nodded. It was evident to everyone she was nervous.

Tara couldn't help but be aware of Mindy's nervousness as she watched the younger girl turn on her computer. “I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Arthur will probably take it easy on you for your first few days. He’ll most likely assign you to stuffing envelopes until you get the hang of things.”

“Oh.” Mindy nodded. “Good. Is Arthur like… the supervisor?”

“We call him the boss.” Tara said. “Affectionately, of course. He’s been working here since his Sophomore year, I think. Maybe the summer between Freshman and Sophomore year. He knows the office inside and out. Beth…” Tara glanced over her shoulder to make sure Beth wasn’t standing behind them before she continued. “Pretty much just lets Arthur run everything.” Tara’s tone suggested that this was her way of saying the office would survive if Beth were taken out of the equation.

“Oh.” Mindy said again. “So he’s the one to impress?”

Tara nodded.

Beth returned a moment later with the training binder, which she gave Mindy to read, and by the time she was walking away, the office's front door opened.

Sara walked in first. She was a tall, skinny junior with long, thin black hair dressed in a pleasant yellow sundress. Her open-toed flip-flops were against the office dress code, but she changed them for a pair of flats she kept at her desk.

The man who held the door open for her was the one that caught Mindy’s attention. She sucked in a breath as she saw him and stared up at him. He was tall and broad-shouldered, with a narrow waist and muscular frame. He wore a dark blue button-down shirt with the long sleeves rolled and neatly tucked at his elbows, baring muscular forearms. The shirt fabric clung against him and rustled in the air-conditioner breeze as he entered the office. The tight tuck into his gray slacks suggested a flat muscular abdomen, which distracted her. When he spoke, Mindy nearly trembled at his deep baritone voice.

“Good morning, everyone.” Arthur said as he set his backpack down at his desk. When he looked up, his eyes met Mindy’s, who looked at him in bewilderment. “Ah, you must be Ji-Min! Beth told me she’d hired another student worker.” He came around the desk, and Mindy followed his movements as he stuck his hand out toward her. “My name’s Arthur.” He said.

“She prefers to go by Mindy.” Tara corrected Arthur.

“Oh, I’m sorry. Mindy.” Arthur adjusted his introduction. “It’s nice to meet you.”

“I…” Mindy knew she should look at something other than his body, so she lifted her eyes to his face, which didn’t help. He was as handsome as he was hot, and her eyes traveled along his sharp jawline to his smiling lips that she immediately imagined kissing. She felt her face heat as she stumbled over the words, her tongue twisted. “Uh…” m

Tara did her best not to laugh, and Sara hadn’t even noticed as she changed her shoes. Tara nudged Mindy in the side with her elbow.

Mindy, startled at the nudge, took Arthur’s hand and shook it weakly. His grip was firm but gentle. He wasn’t trying to show strength; he was simply strong, and his hand felt as though he might not even feel any discomfort if she squeezed him with all her might. She did her best to breathe.

“I see you’ve logged in. Have you had a moment to review the binder yet?” Arthur asked.

“I just gave it to her.” Beth explained. “Mindy, why don’t you give that a read. Arthur? Can I talk to you for a second?” Beth gestured to her office.

“Sure thing, Miss Rian.” Arthur let go of Mindy’s hand, which she held in her left as she brought both hands close to her chest.

Mindy watched Beth and Arthur enter her office until Beth closed the door behind them.

Tara laughed. “Sorry. Should have warned you.” She giggled. “The boss is hot.”

Sara joined in the laughter.

Mindy spun her chair back toward her computer, blushing too hard to say anything, which only darkened her expression as she opened the training binder. A few minutes into the workday, she'd already made a fool of herself in front of everyone.

“Don’t worry, you get used to it.” Tara said. “And don’t get any ideas. He has a girlfriend, and he’s really serious about her. He doesn’t even register anyone else as a woman. You can wear as high a skirt or as low a shirt as you want, and he won’t even notice. He might as well be gay.”

“Oh, you didn’t hear?” Sara interjected, and Tara looked over at her.

Sara smirked. Mindy could hear the satisfaction in her voice, having information Tara didn’t. “They broke up.”

“What?” Tara asked. “When?”

“Last semester, apparently.” Sara shrugged. “He was just telling me about it. We ran into each other at the cafeteria and walked to work together.” She sounded smug.

“Fuck.” Tara practically spat. “And I had to go and fall in love with somebody else last semester.”

Sara laughed. “Apparently, his girlfriend decided to go to Grad School on the other side of the country and didn’t want to deal with long distance, so… she ended things. And according to Maria, he’s been a mess about it all summer. He’s still pretty depressed about it, apparently.”

“Maria?” Tara asked.

“A mutual friend. She and her boyfriend are friends with Arthur.” Sara explained.

“So, how long will you wait until you start flirting?” Tara asked with satyric shame in her voice.

Sara laughed. “Bitch, I already started. I had to wait an extra ten minutes outside the cafeteria to run into him and get him to walk me over here.”

Sara and Tara laughed together, but their hushed conversation ended a few seconds later when Beth’s office door opened again, and Arthur walked through it. Mindy didn’t look up, but she listened to Arthur walk behind them and cross the room to his desk. She glanced aside at him to see if he was looking over at her, but he wasn’t. He was turning on his computer and getting to work.

Mindy realized she’d been reading the same opening page of the Training Manual without making any headway through it the entire time. She looked over at Arthur again, but he caught her looking this time. Mindy smiled at him, surprised her teeth weren’t chattering from her nerves. Arthur smiled back in a gentle half-smile, and she felt her entire body flutter with butterflies.

Fuck.

Mindy spent the next forty minutes reading, or trying to read, the training manual. It was not an entirely fruitless endeavor, but she did have to re-read a paragraph or two as her mind drifted off to slightly inappropriate scenarios with the boss that became more risque with each fresh daydream.

Personally, Mindy blamed her mother’s weakness for Korean Dramas. She’d grown up watching them, even if her father claimed to hate them. So it wasn’t her fault she was sitting here imagining herself the center of some romantic office drama with her hot, masculine, potentially wealthy(?) boss. The only difference between him and the typical romantic hero was that he was not Korean. She didn’t see that as a problem. He had Hollywood good looks, and her tastes were more American than Korean anyway; despite her father’s insistence she find a nice Korean boy.

In her fantasy, she sat at her desk just as she was now, and he sat at his desk as he was.

“Mindy?” Arthur asked. His question was clear, and his voice deep.

“Yes, sir?” Mindy asked.

“Can I see you in Beth’s office for a moment? I need to quiz you on the training manual before the end of your shift, and I don't want to disturb the others.”

“Won't we disturb Miss Rian?” Mindy asked. She looked down at the training manual when she asked the question, realizing she was likely less than halfway through something she should have finished.

“She’s at a meeting.” Arthur said. “She won’t be back for a while.”

“Oh, okay. Sure.” Mindy said and scooted her chair back.

Arthur stood from his desk and walked toward Beth’s door. Mindy followed him into the small, private office space and stood by Beth’s desk as Arthur closed and locked the door behind them.

Arthur walked past her to the other door and locked it, too. Mindy’s gaze followed him as he moved, but she didn’t speak. She was having trouble breathing, too busy panicking over her lack of progress through the training manual.

“You look nervous.” Arthur observed. “You don’t have to be. Relax.”

“Yes, sir. Sorry.” Mindy said quickly.

Arthur sat behind Beth’s desk and gestured for Mindy to sit in one of the two chairs across from him. He was calm and steepled his hands in front of him as he looked across the desk to Mindy.

“You read the training manual, correct?” Arthur asked.

Mindy nodded. “I did, but-” She didn’t finish her sentence.

“But?” Arthur asked.

Mindy took a deep breath, inhaling through her nose to calm herself as she looked away from Arthur and kept her eyes on the woodgrains of the desk between them. The small office smelled mostly of paper with hints of toner, plastic, and an earthy smell of potted dirt from the fern in the corner. The chair was soft beneath her, but the arms were bony beneath her forearms. She had her hands in her lap, her ankles crossed and folded beneath her as she sat straight in the chair.

“Mindy?” Arthur asked. “Did you read the manual?”

“Yes, sir.” Mindy said without lifting her gaze. “But I got distracted and didn’t finish it.”

“What distracted you?” Arthur asked.

“You did. Sir.” Mindy answered. If she was called out, she might as well be bold. “I couldn’t stop daydreaming about… you.”

Arthur was silent for a moment but sounded amused when he spoke. “I’m flattered that you have a schoolgirl crush on me.”

Mindy’s cheeks flushed dark with her blush. Her darker-toned skin didn’t show red in the blush, but it showed with a sudden darkening of the skin below her eyes. She lifted her eyes to him as he dismissed her admiration as nothing more than a schoolgirl’s infatuation. He was right, but it still stung. She wasn’t a kid. She was an adult. A grown woman. She wanted him to treat her like a woman. A sexy, beautiful woman. Not a cute schoolgirl.

“It’s not a schoolgirl crush.” Mindy said. “It’s attraction. You’re beautiful.”

“Beautiful?” Arthur asked.

“Handsome.” Mindy corrected. “Hot.”

“You know that’s not appropriate.” Arthur said, but his voice wasn’t stern. He still sounded amused. “If I were to say those things to you, you could have me fired.”

“I wouldn’t.” Mindy assured him.

“But you could.” Arthur pointed out the obvious. “And that’s enough to ensure I can’t. I could never tell you you’re beautiful, hot, cute, sexy, and that I haven’t been able to take my eyes off you all morning.”

Mindy lifted her gaze to meet his, staring back at her with a heat she didn’t expect. Her lips parted in a silent gasp of understanding.

“I could never say anything like that, even if those statements would be true.” Arthur didn’t turn his gaze away.

“So we distract each other.” Mindy said. She made the statement as she realized it, verbally processing this new information.

Arthur nodded, briefly lowering his gaze to her lips and returning it to her dark and beautiful eyes. “It would seem so. What should we do about that?”

“I don’t know.” Mindy lowered her gaze to the desk once more. She traced the dark lines in the ruddy wood with her eyes, following the patterns as they twisted through one another. Her fingers grasped the tight material of her skirt in her lap, lifting her hemline slightly.

“What would you like to do?” Arthur asked. He stood and slowly walked around the desk. Mindy kept her eyes down, but he entered her view as he stood between her and the desk now, leaning on the desk, her eyes on his slacks.

Mindy lifted her eyes and trailed them up his tie to the tight Windsor knot at his collar. Her gaze flitted to his lips and stopped. She licked her own.

Arthur reached toward her without saying a word and hooked his finger beneath her chin. She stood as he tilted her head to meet his gaze, and he turned his head. Their lips pressed together in a soft kiss that stole her breath and flooded her body with visceral liquid heat. Lava pumped through her veins, and she closed her eyes to keep them from stinging at the new temperature.

Mindy’s legs weakened, and she reached for Arthur to hold herself steady. Her hands found his arms and closed on them with a grip as firm as his muscles beneath the thin fabric of his shirt. Her mouth opened for him, and she probed his lips with her tongue, timid but excited. It was too hot in this small office. She needed to cool down. She kept one hand on him and lifted her other to her shirt, unsnapping the buttons one by one to reveal her plump breasts enclosed in a black underwire bra decorated with lace. It wasn’t the sexiest underwear she owned, but she hadn’t expected to fuck a god on her first day at the office.

She opened her shirt, and Arthur pulled away from the kiss to gaze at her momentarily. He reached behind her and plucked her bra open. She let the shirt and the bra fall to the floor. Arthur wasted no time and spun her around, so she was against the desk. She staggered in her heels, but Arthur didn’t even notice. He reached down and hauled the hem of her skirt to her hips, revealing her matching black panties.

Arthur picked Mindy up and sat her on the desk. She spread her legs so he could stand in front of her, and her warmth soaked into his thighs as he kissed her neck and worked his way down to her breasts. She leaned back and put her hands flat behind her on the desk as Arthur played with her small dark nipples. She gasped as he sucked one into his mouth, his tongue flicking it with skill and dexterity only suggested by his kiss.

Her chest rose to meet him as he tasted her nipples and alternated between them, playing with them at his leisure as his hands squeezed and groped her. The excitement flooded her body every time he touched her, and she was soaked through her panties when his fingers trailed her stomach to dip between her legs.

She squeezed her thighs around his sturdy legs and reached up for his shoulders as he started playing with her. He kissed her again, and she clung to his broad frame. He was her rock, holding her in place despite the hurricane that swirled around them. His kiss built in passion. His fingers were hot and slick with her juices as he probed her and fucked her with his finger on their boss’ desk.

“Mindy?” Arthur’s voice behind her and to her right made Mindy lurch out of her seat as though she’d been poked with a cattle prod. Her fantasy evaporated in a puff of imagined steam, and the real world came crashing back into place with a jolt that jostled her.

She nearly fell out of her chair and reached out to catch herself just as Arthur reached to prevent her fall. Her hand clasped around his forearm, and he held her steady, lifting his arm to set her fully upright again.

“OhmygodI’msosorry.” She said all at once as she yanked her hand away.

“It’s okay.” He assured her. “That’s my fault for sneaking up on you. I’m sorry. It wasn’t intentional. Are you okay?”

“Yeah.” Mindy answered. “I’m okay.”

“Are you sure?” Tara asked, a teasing tone in her voice. “Maybe you’d better carry her to the health center.” She suggested to Arthur. “She looks like she had a heart attack.”

Mindy’s face darkened in a blush.

“Alright.” Arthur scoffed as he stood up and brushed himself off. “Don’t give her too hard a time over it.” He looked at Tara. “Remember when you shrieked and threw a box full of envelopes at the wall because of a spider?”

“It was a big spider!” Tara protested.

“No one else ever saw the spider.” Arthur said.

“Because I threw an envelope box at it and crushed that sucker!” Tara said. “Like a boss!”

Arthur laughed. “Well, speaking of envelopes, I was going to run to the storage closet and grab some six-by-nines since we don’t have enough for today’s mailing. It seemed like a good time to show you where the storage closet is if you’d like to come with me?” He asked Mindy. “It’d be a good idea for you to know where things are.”

“Oh.” Mindy said. “Sure.”

Arthur nodded and started to walk away. He paused when he passed his desk; she still hadn’t moved.

“If you’re coming…” Arthur said suggestively.

Mindy nodded and stood up a little too quickly. There was a heat in her lower core rapidly cooling, throwing her off-balance. She staggered a step before she got her balance and righted herself. She straightened her clothes by pressing them down and doing her best to ignore Tara and Sara’s muffled giggling at her expense as she followed the oblivious himbo out of the office.

Arthur pointed and led the way toward the closet, with Mindy close behind.

“So uh…” Mindy started. “What uh… what year are you?”

“I’m a senior this year.” Arthur explained. “Though I’m in a five-year program, I still have a year left after this one.”

“Oh.” Mindy said. “I looked into that program.”

“Business?” Arthur asked.

“Yeah.” Mindy nodded. “My dad wants me to go for it. Technically, I don’t have to decide until next semester, but I was thinking of becoming an art history major.”

“Art sounds fun.” Arthur offered. “You should do whatever you like more. You only live once, right?”

“Right.” Mindy said. She wasn’t used to someone supporting her artistic goals. All the authority figures in her life, including her peers, saw it as a hobby. They indulged her when she showed off her work and tolerated her talking about it so long as she kept it short. Arthur was the first to tell her to pursue it.

“What kind of art do you do?” Arthur asked.

Mindy was still overcoming her surprise. “Oh, uh, drawing and painting.” She said.

“And you enjoy it? Like, if you never had to worry about money again, you’d still do it?” Arthur asked.

“Of course.” Mindy nodded.

“Got any I can see?” Arthur asked.

Mindy pulled up her phone and showed Arthur the background, a picture she’d drawn of herself as a character in Avatar the Last Airbender. She was prepared to explain it, but Arthur required no explanation.

“Nice!” Arthur offered her a hand for a high-five. “Always good to meet another AtLA fan.”

Mindy looked at his hand.

“Do you uh… do you not do high fives?” Arthur asked.

“Sorry!” Mindy said, belatedly giving him a high-five and wincing at how hard she’d accidentally smacked his hand in her effort to make up for her pause.

Arthur chuckled and dropped his hand. If it stung, he didn’t seem to take any notice. He didn’t act like she’d struck his hand hard, and maybe she hadn’t, for him. God, he was strong. Mindy wondered what it might be like to loop her arm around his as they walked. She put her phone away and watched his biceps under the tight fabric. She didn’t realize that she’d sucked the bottom corner of her lip behind her teeth when they reached the closet.

“And this is the marketing storage closet.” Arthur introduced her to the door. “They key–” He held up a key with a hefty green tag on a keyring. “It is usually in my top desk drawer if you need it. There are forks, napkins, and other office supplies in there, too. You can help yourself.”

Mindy nodded. She watched Arthur open the door and flick on the light. The closet was secluded but not terribly romantic. She was surprised it took them as long as it did to get here, but she was taking small steps with how tight her pencil skirt was.

The closet floor was bare concrete. Its shelves were perforated metal plates with thick wooden shelves laid between them. Dozens of brown cardboard boxes filled the shelves, each with something taped to the outside to show what was in the box.

“Envelopes are here on the left.” Arthur said as he went around the corner.

Mindy followed.

“They’ve all got their dimensions written on them.” He tapped the box with the white six-by-nine envelope with “6 x 9” written in permanent marker.

“Nice.” Mindy said absent-mindedly.

“What?” Arthur asked.

Mindy’s eyes went wide, and she stared up at him. The very thought of the innuendo forced her imagination to conjure a depiction of her and Arthur in a 69 arrangement, right here on the cement floor. It wasn’t real; it was just her imagination, but the blood in her veins warmed at the thought and scorched between her legs.

“Are you okay?”

Mindy nodded silently.

“Okay…” Arthur turned back toward the box. He pulled out the heavy rectangular box at least a foot, a half square, and three feet long. He hefted it onto his shoulder with his massive arm around it and nodded toward the exit.

Mindy swallowed.

“Don’t worry.” Arthur assured her. “Beth keeps me around to do all the heavy lifting. You won’t have to do the manual labor like this. If anything, you might get sent in here for a handful of envelopes, mailing cards, or brochures. That kind of thing.”

Mindy nodded.

“Can you get the door?” Arthur gestured with his free hand, and Mindy held the door open so he could carry the box through it. He did so, turning slightly to get the box through. He steadied the box with his free hand as he walked.

Mindy closed the door behind them.

“Did you turn off the light?” Arthur asked.

“Uh…” Mindy stopped.

Arthur gestured toward the door with his steadying hand. “Something to remember. Always turn out the light.”

Mindy nodded. There was a silent moment where neither of them moved.

“So…” Arthur pointed toward the door. “Would you mind opening the door and turning off the light for me?”

“Oh, right.” Mindy rushed to do it and nearly walked through the door when it failed to open.

“Ooh!” Arthur’s exclamation was followed by the sound of him setting the box down. “Are you okay?” He asked, almost laughing. Her walking face-first into the door shouldn’t be funny. He knew that deep down. Yet, there would always be something comical about the unexpected.

Mindy blinked and put her hand to her nose to check, but she seemed okay. Then she looked up into Arthur’s eyes, and her pain from walking into the door became something else entirely. Arthur checked her face for damage, but she looked okay. Her boobs might bruise, though.

“Are you…” Arthur looked into her dark eyes and smiled gently. “Okay?” He finished his question.

Mindy held his gaze, looking up into his face as he looked down into hers. Such a position would suggest a kiss in one of her K-drama office romances. She broke the locked gaze between them by looking at his lips, but Arthur kept his eyes on hers.

“Are you hurt?” Arthur asked again. “Should we get you checked for a concussion?” He didn’t think she’d hit her head, but she would know better than him.

“No. I’m okay.” Mindy nodded. “Uh… The door’s locked.”

Arthur laughed. “Yeah. Sorry. I probably locked it behind us when we went in. It's been a habit since my first year working here when I got in trouble far too often for forgetting to lock the door.” He unlocked the door, turned out the light, and relocked it.

Mindy looked up at him. Her lips parted slightly, but her expression looked like she was off in an entirely different universe. Arthur looked down at her, and after a moment, he waved his hand between their faces.

“You sure you’re okay?” He asked. “You look a little flushed.”

“I’m fine!” Mindy realized she shouted at the same time as everyone else heard the squeaky, unintentional shout. They weren’t the only people in the hallway.

“Okay.” Arthur held his hands up in surrender. He picked the box up, and Mindy watched as he squatted down to get it. She watched his back muscles ripple through his shirt as he lifted it and returned the box to perch on his shoulder.

Mindy was still staring several seconds after Arthur started to walk away. His ass in those pants was distracting. She stutter-stepped to catch up and launched forward. Given the tightness of her skirt, her legs moved faster than her pace, but Arthur slowed down to let her get ahead of him so she could open the office door for him once they reached it.

Arthur set the box on the large rectangular table in the office, and Mindy moved aside a step behind him. He unboxed the envelopes, put a stack of them in a cubby bin on the wall, and then placed the box under the shelves before clapping his hands together and startling Mindy.

“Oh, sorry.” Arthur chuckled. “Just getting the dust off.” He said before he brushed himself off.

“And…” He looked up at the clock. “I have to get to class.”

“Oh.” Mindy nodded. “So do I.”

“Will you be back later today?” Arthur asked.

Mindy nodded.

“Perfect.” He said, and he gave her a smile that made Mindy forget to breathe.

Arthur picked up his backpack and headed off to class.

Mindy left a few minutes later, still daydreaming about the smile Arthur gave her before he left.

Her high school boyfriend had been cute and given her what she wanted for as long as she gave him what he wanted, but he was no Arthur. She had never considered dating an upperclassman before, but she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t daydreaming about it now. She imagined him in many different scenarios: catching her, challenging her, acting as a professional rival in one daydream, and her authoritative, morally unconscionable boss in the next.

Her class notes that morning were nothing but notebook sketches of a figure with Arthur’s facial features and body stylized as a manhwa character. She made rough sketches of herself, depicting the scene she’d imagined earlier in the office. By the time class was finished, she had a rough comic across several pages of them engaged in highly unprofessional activities.

Those were her favorite fantasies, which she enjoyed whenever she could string two thoughts together. She found it difficult to think clearly and nearly impossible to learn whenever she was in the same room with Arthur. That was the state of things when she returned for her afternoon shift to find Arthur already there and working.

Mindy tried. She did her best to be diligent and focus on the training material, but the binder was useless without context for the information. The information was also dull, and much of it seemed common sense to someone who’d grown up with computers all her life. The exciting world of data entry wasn’t fascinating compared to the imagined scenarios of Arthur finding Mindy under his desk or taking her to the storage closet for more than envelopes. She often drifted off to daydream of her and the boss in increasingly risque scenarios.

In her imagination, they were alone in the office. Arthur’s desk was in Beth’s office, which was his office. Mindy was his assistant, her desk just outside his. She was working diligently when Arthur poked his head out of his office. Dressed as they were now, Arthur cut an impressive figure.

“Mindy?” Arthur asked.

“Yes, Boss?” Mindy asked demurely.

“Would you mind getting me a cup of coffee?” Arthur asked. “I need to keep reviewing these figures, but they’re all starting to blend together.”

“Of course!” Mindy squeaked. She stood up like a shot and moved swiftly to the coffee pot on the far wall.

Arthur watched her walk, her tight skirt showing off her backside with every step. Mindy knew he was watching, but she didn’t mind. She wanted him to stare and put extra sway into her step to keep his attention. Her skirt rode up, showing off her thighs when she bent over to get the sugar, and she smirked as she heard Arthur make a muffled noise.

When she turned around, he was returning to his desk, and she followed him with his coffee. He sat down, and she moved around his desk to give it to him. She leaned over, but as she did so, she spotted the bulge in his pants. Surprised, she nearly lost her grip on his coffee mug and spilled coffee all over his lap.

Arthur shot up, slamming into the mug and her arm from below, spilling the rest of the coffee her way. Mindy squealed as the coffee hit her blouse and staggered back.

“OhI’msosorry.” They said simultaneously. The coffee was hot but not scalding. Still, it was uncomfortable, and both started tearing off the stained garments to keep from getting burned. For Arthur, it was his pants; for her, it was her shirt.

In moments, Arthur was standing there in nothing but his dress shirt and a tight pair of underwear that showed the outline of his dick. Mindy watched in fascination as it grew and hardened while Arthur watched her bra-clad torso heave in heavy breaths.

“Oh, I-” Mindy blushed but didn’t hide herself.

“Your shirt. Are you okay?” Arthur asked with concern in his voice. “Did it burn you?”

“I’m okay.” Mindy assured him, stepping closer. “Did it burn you?”

“I’m alright.” Arthur said. He took the mug from her, now empty, and put it on his desk. “Just be more careful next time. I don’t want you getting hurt.”

Mindy looked up at him, and he looked down at her. They gazed into each other’s eyes just like they had before. Mindy was standing so close to him that the soft tips of her breasts in her lacy black bra barely touched his rigid muscular torso. She gulped.

“Sir?” Mindy asked.

“Yes, Mindy?” Arthur asked his hand still on her arm from checking on her.

“Kiss me.” Mindy pleaded.

“Are you sure?” Arthur asked. “This is a line we can’t uncross.”

“I want to cross lines with you.” Mindy told him. “Take me, Sir. If you want me, I’m yours.”

“I want you.” Arthur told her. “I want you more than I want breath.”

And with that, he kissed her. It was searing hot, and the heat of it coursed through Mindy and flooded her body. She gripped Arthur’s arms for balance to keep from falling away from him, and he clung to her in return. His hard length pressed against her stomach as they kissed. Her breasts smashed against his torso, and their kiss turned into making out. His tongue wrestled hers into submission, and she cooed in delight when he ripped off his shirt.

The buttons went flying, leaving him in his boxer briefs. She looked down and kissed his chest. She wanted to lick every inch of his sculpted torso, almost as much as she wanted him to throw her onto his desk and take her right there and then.

Arthur unclasped her bra, and Mindy tossed it aside. They kissed again, and Mindy moaned into it.

“Please.” Mindy begged. “Take me, Sir. Fuck me like a whore.”

Arthur seemed surprised by the language but turned on by it. “As you wish.” He growled and spun Mindy toward his desk. He ripped her skirt off and pushed her back, so she had no choice but to lie back. She opened her legs, and he pulled his throbbing cock out of his underwear.

“Beg for it.” Arthur growled. “Beg me to fuck you.”

“Please, Boss. Please! Fuck me. Fuck your whore!” Mindy grabbed his arms, trying to pull him closer to her. She gasped as he notched his cock at her entrance, then-

“Mindy?” Arthur asked.

Mindy practically jumped out of her chair as she shouted. “Yes, Boss?”

The real world came flooding back. Mindy was sitting at her desk, Lisa, her coworker, was at one of the workstations on the other wall, and Arthur was still behind his desk in the same room, looking at Mindy.

She was wet, hot, and breathing heavily. Still, she thought she was being discreet, even if she hoped Arthur might pick up on it and ask her out. Not that he knew what she’d been dreaming or that she was dreaming of him. He only knew it was apparent he surprised her.

Arthur almost laughed, making the smile on his face natural and unintentional. “You don’t have to call me Boss.” Arthur said. “I’m just a student worker, like you. Though, admittedly, with some different responsibilities.”

“Oh. Okay.” Mindy said though she didn’t quite believe him. Tara had made it clear Arthur was the boss of the office, and he was the one here. She hadn’t seen or heard Beth all day after her initial appearance that morning. “Was there something you wanted to ask me?”

“Yes, actually.” Arthur said as he stood and came around his desk. “Would you mind helping me stuff some envelopes for this afternoon's mailing? It’ll get done quicker with the two of us.”

“Oh…” Mindy sounded disappointed but rallied. “Yes, sir.”

“You uh…” Arthur started to say but stopped when Mindy looked at him as she got up. “You can move to the table. I’ll bring you the materials.”

Mindy smiled at him and moved to the table while Arthur fetched the letters from the printer, the inserts from the cubby, and the envelopes they’d brought in earlier. He showed her how to fold the letters in half and add the insert before sliding the whole thing into the envelope so the top of the letter was the first thing one saw when opening the envelope. It was simple enough work.

The other girls in the office joined them at the table, disappointing Mindy, but they worked on different mailings. Mindy did her best, though she did get somewhat distracted watching Arthur.

He moved with practiced grace and efficiency, and his hands skillfully manipulated everything they touched. He was easily doubling her pace as they worked.

“You’ve been doing this a while, I suppose.” Mindy looked across the table to where Arthur stood.

“Since my Sophomore year.” Arthur scoffed.

“Yeah, Tara said you’d been working here since you were a Sophomore.” Mindy remembered. “That and you’re single are practically all I know about you.”

The mood in the room suddenly shifted. Lisa glanced between the two of them.

Mindy was trying to ask about his romantic availability in as innocent a tone as possible. She thought she’d been subtle. Arthur’s expression changed from comfortable ease to darkened contemplation, and for a moment, Mindy feared she’d shown her hand, and Arthur was insulted by her interest.

“Yeah.” Arthur said. His voice bore a sadness to it that tugged on Mindy’s heart. Genuine sorrow, so raw and vulnerable. The kind of vulnerability Mindy had never seen in a man. She wanted to hug him, comfort him, and tell him there were other, cuter, coincidentally Korean fish in the sea. One of the other girls beat her to it.

“I’m sorry.” Lisa, at least Mindy thought that was her name, reached over and put her hand on Arthur’s upper arm.

Mindy frowned.

“It’s okay.” Arthur assured her.

“Was it mutual?” Lisa asked, butting into Mindy’s conversation with Arthur since they were all at the same table.

“Not exactly.” Arthur admitted. “She wanted to attend Grad school across the country, which I supported. It has the better program, and she’ll be great at it, but she decided to break up with me to do it, which I did not support. She told me she didn’t want to ask me to move and drop my program here and didn’t want to do long distance. She said she had a choice to make and made it, and… that was it.”

“I’m so sorry.” Lisa said. “I kind of want to give you a hug.”

Arthur shook his head. “I appreciate it, but that wouldn’t be appropriate.” He said. “I’m okay. Or, at least, I will be. I’m still getting over it. We dated for three years, give or take a few months. Being single will take some getting used to.”

Lisa scoffed, clearly trying to cheer Arthur up. “I wouldn’t worry about that. A great guy like you? You’ll be scooped up in no time.”

Arthur smirked slightly, but Mindy could tell it wasn’t genuine. She’d seen his genuine smile already, and that wasn’t it.

He shrugged. “Thanks. But it’s okay. I’m not looking for a girlfriend right now. It leaves me more time for my studies and work, which is good. I’ll focus on the office and my homework for now. It wouldn’t be fair to start dating unless I’m sure I’m over Lori, and there’s not anyone interested in me that way at the moment.”

Lisa and Mindy, disappointed but trying not to let it show, nodded.

Once the mailing was done, Arthur left for an afternoon class, which left Mindy to finish her shift without him. Arthur took the mail to the mailroom in a plastic bin and took his backpack to go right from the mailroom to class.

Mindy and Lisa, left alone, went back to their computers.

“Poor guy.” Lisa sighed. “That Lori is an idiot. Can you imagine?”

Mindy giggled. “I can see choosing your career over a guy, I guess.”

Lisa shook her head. “A year of long distance. That’s all they would have had to do, and she could have married that?” She gestured to Arthur’s desk, where he was obviously absent. “I’ve known Arthur for two years now. He is a great guy. Any girl that had him on the hook and decided to throw him back is an idiot.”

“He is pretty hot.” Mindy admitted shyly.

“I don’t just mean that. I mean, yeah, the guy’s a freakin’ movie star waiting to happen, but he doesn’t even realize he’s hot. It’s new to him.”

“What do you mean?” Mindy asked.

“I guess in high school, he was just kind of average? He didn’t start working out until he got to college, so Freshman year, he was kinda cute and in okay shape, but nothing like what he is now.” Lisa explained. “At least that’s what I heard. But I’m not even talking about how hot he is. He’s just… a total cinnamon bun. Maybe to a fault? But I’ve never seen anyone so determined to do the right thing all the time. It’s infuriating.” She scoffed.

“What do you mean?” Mindy asked.

“Nothing…” Lisa sighed. “Maybe I just have a thing for bad boys, and he gives off too much golden-retriever energy. Still, I hope he gets over Lori soon.”

“Me too.” Mindy admitted.

Lisa scoffed. “Oh ho, so I’m going to have some competition from the new girl?” She asked.

“I think you’ll have more competition than me.” Mindy admitted. “Sara said she already started flirting with him.”

“That slut.” Lisa scoffed. “She’d nail anyone not nailed down. Even then, I don’t think she’d have said no if Arthur came onto her and still had a girlfriend.”

“Would you?” Mindy asked. She was curious.

Lisa laughed. “It’s a null point.” She shook her head. “Arthur would never cheat on anyone. He’s too Mr. Goody-two-shoes for that. He’d probably faint at the very idea. And he’s a little dumb.”

“Really?” Mindy said. “He seemed pretty intelligent to me.”

Lisa rolled her eyes. “His grades are fine. He’s competent, I guess, but he’s as blind as a bat when it comes to women. I swear I could walk in here in nothing but my heels, sit on his desk, and spread my legs, and all he’d do is ask if I was chilly and offer me his suit jacket.”

Mindy giggled. “I don’t think he’d be that oblivious.”

“Well, it’s an exaggeration.” Lisa admitted. “But not by much. He really is infuriating.” She giggled, and Mindy joined in.

The rest of Mindy’s work shift went well, and she’d gotten some data entry done. She felt good about the work she accomplished and appeared ready to leave, though she hoped to see Arthur return before she did.

He arrived just as she was heading toward the door and met her with a smile as he turned on his computer. She lingered by his desk, but he didn’t suddenly notice her and ask her to join him for dinner, so she left disappointed.

Contemplating her coworkers, she believed they must be less oblivious to her crush than Arthur was. Sara and Tara teased her about it a little, but no more than they teased each other. Lisa was interested but not hopeful. Mindy wasn’t alone in her arousal over Arthur, but she didn't believe any of the others had the same butterflies she did.

They wanted Arthur for conquest, to sleep with the hot guy at work. Mindy's fantasies of the future indulged in sex, true, but they went deeper. She wanted to be more than a sexual partner. If he was as great a guy as the others suggested, he deserved a girl who admired him and had similar interests like Avatar the Last Airbender. He should also have someone who could be his work wife. Someone willing to do whatever he wanted. Maybe he was a good guy on the streets, but what if he could be rough and tumble in the sheets? He needed a girl who could do both.

She was at the cafeteria before she realized it, where her suitemates were waiting for her on the couches outside the main doors. Sara, Bella, and Rachel.

“Mindy!” Bella called when she spotted her.

Mindy smiled and waved back as she came up to the girls.

“You look office-chic.” Bella smirked. “Ready for dinner?”

Mindy nodded, and the four of them entered the cafeteria. Mindy was amused by her friendship with her suitemates. As people, they couldn’t be more different. Suitemate Sarah, not to be confused with Office Sara, was a tall, thin African-American girl with a love for sports (both playing and watching) that was even more fervent than Rachel’s love of religion. Sarah’s roommate, Bella, was a short Latina girl who shared Sarah’s interest in hockey but was not as dedicated to it as the taller girl. That seemed to be the only thing they had in common.

The system threw Rachel and Mindy together because they checked Christian on the sheet they’d filled out, and both had listed a preference for quiet roommates. Two or three choices in common seemed to be all the criteria necessary to room people together. Beyond those elements, the girls couldn’t be more different.

“So, how was your first day at work?” Rachel asked Mindy once they’d all sat down and started eating.

“Oh, it was good.” Mindy answered.

“Meet any cute guys?” Bella asked immediately. She was the romantic out of the group. Most of her luggage from home had been books that all shared a common romantic theme. She was also a little guy-crazy and was very interested in meeting new people.

Mindy’s immediate blush and silence were answer enough.

“Ooo.” Bella smelled blood in the water. “Who is it?”

Mindy shook her head. “It’s nobody.”

“Somebody, I think.” Sarah teased her. “What’s his name?”

“Or her name.” Bella said. “Way to be heteronormative.”

Rachel scoffed.

“Really. It’s not a thing.” Mindy assured her. “Just a guy at the office who is kinda cute.”

“Is he single?” Bella asked.

Mindy nodded.

“Does he like Latinas?” Bella asked.

“Easy, girl.” Sarah laughed.

Bella shrugged. “What? I was just asking.” She teased Mindy.

“Are you interested in him?” Rachel asked.

Mindy shook her head. “He barely knows that I exist, and the other girls at the office have all known him longer than I have.”

“So?” Sarah asked. “It’s not like there’s dibs.”

“There is too, dibs.” Bella protested. “See that guy?” She pointed to a young man coming into the dining hall with a tray in his hands. “Dibs.”

Rachel rolled her eyes. “Don’t go boy crazy.” She warned. “You’ll regret it.”

The others all looked at each other, and then Sarah plowed ahead. “Okay, well, then I call dibs on that guy.” She nodded to someone else coming into the dining room.

Mindy froze.

Bella noticed Mindy’s expression and smirked. “Oh, I think Mindy already has dibs on that guy.”

Even Rachel turned to look, but Arthur had already moved away, a petite blonde junior with a long braid tugging on his arm to bring him over to her table.

“Or maybe that blonde has dibs.” Bella amended her statement.

Mindy frowned.

“I wouldn’t worry about her.” Sarah scoffed. “With Mindy’s build? She can get any guy she wants.”

Mindy blushed. “Thank you.” She said softly, but she did worry a little. She knew what Arthur said. He wasn’t looking for a girlfriend right now. The moment he was looking at women again, the office might turn into a charnel house. It was a pity they couldn’t all share him like some harem manhwa.

Immediately she imagined it, Arthur seducing the girls from the office one at a time, fucking them, and deciding between them which one he liked the best. Mindy, in her imagined scenario, had a front-row seat and was incredibly turned on watching Arthur roughly fuck the shit out of Lisa like the bad boy she wanted.

“Mindy?” Bella asked. “Earth to Mindy?”

“Hm?” Mindy shook her head, coming back to the dinner table instead of watching Arthur lay Lisa out on the rectangular table, fucking her, and making out with Mindy as she straddled Lisa’s face.

“Do you want some dessert? I’m gonna get some ice cream.” Bella repeated herself.

“Oh. No thanks.” Mindy shook her head.

After dinner, Mindy went to her dorm to change. It was a quick stop. The skirt became a pair of baggy jeans. She swapped the blouse for a baggy t-shirt.

Then she went to work for her parents. A delivery shift after the dinner rush wasn’t as helpful, but Mindy didn’t mind the opportunity to spend time with her family. The restaurant was slower than usual on Tuesday, so she helped her dad in the kitchen while her mother ran the front. When the night ended, he washed while she dried and put away the dishes.

“So, how did your first day at the new job go?” Her father asked in English.

“It was good.” Mindy said. “I have a lot to learn to be helpful there, but I’m working hard and learning a lot.”

“Good, good.” Her father said. “Not wanting to quit and pick up more hours here?”

“No, Appa.” Mindy rolled her eyes. “Things are going well.”

“Okay, okay.” Her father sighed. “No harm in trying, I suppose.” He smiled at her and nudged her with his elbow.

Mindy smiled back at him. “Appa, when you met Umma, how did you know she was the one?”

Her father looked over his shoulder before he answered; to the doors that led into the restaurant where Mindy’s Umma was putting chairs on top of tables. “You’ve heard the story before.”

Mindy smiled gently as she replayed the fond memories of the stories she’d heard growing up. “I know, but I don’t mean how you met or fell in love. How did you know she was the right woman to pursue?”

“I didn’t.” Her father answered more quickly than she expected. “I took a chance because the thought of someone else asking her first made life not worth living.”

Mindy rolled her eyes. Her father’s stories were always dramatic, but her parents had a sweet relationship. It was almost amusing. She never considered her parents to be sweet people. They were stiff, stern, and often annoying, but they were family and loved each other almost as much as they loved their children.

“Why do you ask?” Her father asked, already guessing the answer. “Someone at school you want to ask you? A nice Korean boy?”

“Why does it matter if he’s Korean?” Mindy asked. “You always say you want him to be Korean, but you’re not the one dating him.”

Her father nodded. “Okay, okay. But it’s good to have something in common.”

Mindy laughed. “People can have more in common than their ethnicity, Appa.”

“Okay, okay. But a good Korean boy has a good foundation. You come at the problems with the same goal and the same point of view. It’s not racist. I’m not racist. You know me. We even serve sushi.” Her father gestured toward the restaurant.

Mindy laughed and shook her head. Her father was an older generation, born the son of an immigrant from South Korea, as was her mother. Their world was different from hers, but she knew serving Japanese food in his Asian Cuisine restaurant had been a big step for her Appa once upon a time. A step her grandparents had given him grief over. There was history there.

“You don’t need to think about boys anyway. There will be plenty of time for dating after college.” Her father said.

“Where will I meet a boy after college?” Mindy asked.

“Church!” Her father answered. “After college, you can meet a nice Korean boy from church; he can ask my permission after a few years of getting to know you at services, and then you’ll date for a while.”

Mindy laughed. She knew her father was only half-joking, but the idea was still ludicrous to her.

“Then, you can get married around thirty when your Umma and I are ready for grandbabies.” Her father continued, smiling at his daughter’s laugh.

They finished the dishes with Mindy still shaking her head at the idea of waiting until she was thirty to have sex. Her father didn’t know her high school boyfriend had taken her virginity after her 18th birthday. That wasn’t the kind of event you shared with your Appa.

“Is it okay if I crash here tonight?” Mindy asked.

“Of course.” Her father answered. “But you’re not going to get a discount from the school, you know. Don’t you like your dorm room after all your insisting on staying there?”

“I do.” Mindy assured him. “I like having the choice. And I just need a night away from my roommate.”

Her father scoffed. “Okay, okay.”

“That’s it?” Mindy asked. “You don’t want to know why?”

Her father laughed. “Of course not! When two women are fighting, I don’t ask why. I nod and say, ‘Okay, okay,’ to whichever one complains to me.”

Mindy laughed.

“You can run upstairs.” Her father gestured toward the steps. “You need your sleep. Your Umma and I can finish up here.”

Mindy hugged her dad. “Thanks, Appa.”

“Okay, okay.” He patted her back and watched as she headed toward the stairs. He shook his head, wiped down the counter, and entered the restaurant to help his wife.

Mindy ascended the familiar stairs to her family’s apartment above the restaurant. Her brother’s room was now storage, but her bedroom was untouched from when she’d gone off to college a week and a half ago. It was a little bigger than her dorm room, but the main benefit was that she could lock the door and spend her time alone.

The apartment always smelled of cinnamon, pine, and a taste of lemon, thanks to her mother’s preference for scented candles and her father’s preference for dusting twice a week. However, her room mainly smelled of her old perfume and laundry detergent. Thanks to her mom, the sheets on her bed were clean, and the old comforter was soft and thick.

Getting ready for bed was an old habit that ran on autopilot, which was lucky because her thoughts were nowhere near what she was doing. They were on Arthur, and thinking of him as she climbed into bed left her eager to finally finish one of the many fantasies she’d generated earlier that day.

Mindy climbed into bed, her door locked, wearing a ratty old t-shirt for her pajamas and a pair of loose cotton shorts whose elastic waistband had no strength left. Warm, comfortable, and quiet with her white noise machine, she closed her eyes and pictured herself in the office.

Arthur stood in front of her, his hands on either side of her hips, trapping her with her back against his desk. “Did you know I’ve been thinking about you non-stop?” He asked, staring into her dark eyes with his bright gaze. His eyes were hungry, and his voice low and dangerous.

Mindy gulped, her thin blouse tight against her skin as she leaned back to look up at him. Her eyes drifted from his tightly-clad chest to his lips. “Have you?” She asked.

“I have.” Arthur said. He brought her hand to her chin and lifted her face toward his. She went soft at his touch, and his gaze melted hers as heat poured into her body from his. “What do you think we should do about that?”

Mindy swallowed. “What do you want to do?”

“I want to fuck you.” Arthur told her in a whisper. “I want to take you right here, on my desk.”

“But we have work to do-” Mindy’s protest was half-hearted at best and died on her lips.

“Do you want me as badly as I want you?” Arthur asked. “I won’t force you, but if you’ll have me, I’ll take you right here and now. Work be damned.”

Mindy’s vision blurred, and she practically moaned at his words. She bit her lip hard and made her decision. She grabbed his shirt and kissed him. Their mouths met roughly initially, but they soon wrestled their way into a passionate embrace. Her tongue swept into his mouth, and he wrestled hers into submission as he straightened, pulling her with him and lifting her to sit on his desk.

He broke the kiss to reach behind her and knocked the mailing materials to the floor in one swift sweep of his arm. Mindy started undoing her blouse and watched as he locked the doors. When he returned to her, she was shirtless, which she considered unfair.

Arthur loosened his tie and pulled the loop over his head. Mindy reached for him and undid the buttons on his shirt to reveal his carved torso sculpted by a master of the craft. Each line of his pecs was hard cut, and each button undone spilled his shirt over his shoulders. The two halves fell apart and revealed more of him as she went until the shirt hung over his pants, and his abs were there for her viewing and touching pleasure.

His muscles were hard and stiff under her soft fingertips, and he flinched when she traced the line of his V at the bottom of his torso, going over his hips toward his belt.

“Don’t tickle me.” Arthur warned her. “Or I’ll make you regret it.”

“Promises, promises.” Mindy said. She smiled up at him to let him know she was teasing.

“I mean it.” Arthur said. “You’ll regret it.”

“Yes, Boss.” Mindy said, taking his warning to heart. “I promise I’ll be a good girl for you.”

“Will you?” Arthur asked, kissing her neck. “Will you be my good girl? Or will you be my little office whore?”

Mindy swallowed. “Both?” She asked. “Both is good.”

Arthur laughed and kissed his way down her neck to her shoulder.

Mindy’s head rolled back in pleasure, thrusting her breasts out to his view. It didn’t take Arthur long to reach behind her and unhook her bra in a single pinch. He tore the bra off her in one smooth gesture, and she laid back against the desk as he gently pushed her back.

Her skirt was not going to be so easy, but he reached up and under her, lifting her without effort. He pulled the zipper down and had her skirt off in moments. After a minute, she only had her panties, her thigh-high stockings, and her heels. On her back on the desk, Arthur lifted her heels toward the ceiling, hooking her legs over his torso as he sawed his cock between her pelvis and his thumb.

Mindy looked up at him as he looked her in the eyes. He had one hand groping her breast with his thumb teasing her nipple, the other teasing her clit with his cock as it slid back and forth against it.

“Please.” Mindy whimpered.

“Please, what?” Arthur asked. “Tell me what you want, whore.”

“Please fuck me, Boss.” Mindy said. “Please.”

She didn’t have to beg for long. Arthur lined himself up, got ready, and plunged into her deeper than ever before. Mindy gasped at the force of his thrust and clawed the edge of his desk to hold herself in place as he fucked her. Her legs up and split open for him, her breasts bouncing in his hands as he squeezed and twisted her nipples. She moaned, filling the room with expressions of the greatest pleasure.

“Fuck me.” She repeated. “Fuck me.”

Arthur fucked her. He didn’t hold back. He let his strength take over and shove her to the edge of the cliff, where he pushed her over the edge without letting up even a little bit. Mindy was a panting, moaning mess.

“Again.” Mindy begged. “Please, Boss?”

Arthur laughed and pulled out of her. His cock was wet and slick, with her orgasm still dripping from it. “Ever taken someone up the ass before?”

“Yes, Boss.” Mindy admitted, blushing deeply at her humiliation. “My ex-”

“I don’t care.” Arthur scoffed. He stepped back and pulled her up so she was standing. Still dizzy from her orgasm, Arthur spun her around and bent her forward over the desk. Her breasts slammed into it, pushing out to the side as she brought herself up with her hands, only for Arthur to push her down to her elbows with his hand on her upper back. “Spread your legs more.” He kicked her feet aside until she was straddling where he wanted her.

She lifted her head to look back at him and was shocked as he picked up his tie and lassoed it around her neck. He pulled the tie closed against her throat and tightened his grip on it, choking her from behind as he pressed the tip of his cock against her asshole. She closed her eyes to brace herself and felt him plunge into her. He was exquisite. Her eyes rolled back in her head as she became nothing more than his whore.

She was humiliated, degraded, and taken by her boss as he fucked her into the desk. Her clit rubbed against the edge of the desk every time his balls slammed into her pussy while he fucked her ass. She reached forward, clawing at the other edge of his desk in desperation as she felt the tie tighten around her neck. Breathing was difficult, and the intensity was unlike anything she’d ever felt.

She tried to scream as she came, but no sound escaped her breathless throat. She shook, writhed, and kicked, but Arthur didn’t even slow down. He spanked her with a hard wallop across her ass for the disruption and kept fucking as though he were a machine. She did everything she could to make him cum, squeezing everything she could squeeze to milk his orgasm from him, but nothing seemed to do it.

He fucked her until he got bored, spanking her to keep it interesting for a while more. By the time he stopped, her ass was red, despite her skin’s natural tendency to avoid the color. She could feel it burning as he stepped away and pulled her upright with the leash and collar made from his tie.

He pulled her, turned her, sat in his office chair, and gestured for her to kneel. She knelt, and he used the leash to lead her under his desk, where she took a position on her hands and knees. She grimaced at his cock, covered in her juices, but she didn’t hesitate despite the humiliation as she knew what he wanted her to do.

She licked and cleaned him, taking him into her mouth and then her throat. He sighed and sat back in his chair at the pleasurable sensation as she used her tongue to lick his balls with his cock filling her throat and the tie around her neck pressing against the underside of his dick from the outside.

She could barely move under the desk but didn’t need to. Arthur held her in place with the tie and pulled her back and forth as he needed to, fucking her throat as brutally as he fucked her other holes. She knew now why he’d chosen her over the office girls. He could have slept with Sara or Lisa and made them his girlfriend, but she was the only girl willing to be his whore. She was the only one who knew this was what she wanted, to serve her boss the only work she was suitable for.

She closed her eyes and moaned quietly at the thought, vibrating her throat against cock and causing him to groan as he exploded in her. She felt his cock flex as he came, bulging and surging with load after load of hot, white sperm. He pumped all of it directly into her throat, holding her in place until he was finished, no matter how red her face became.

When he finished, he pushed his chair back, pushed her head away, and walked away.

On her bed, Mindy opened her eyes and took a deep breath. Three times. She’d cum three times from her little fantasy with Arthur, and her fingers were tired. She removed her hand from between her legs and did her best to breathe.
