Chapter 3

Stella woke up in a luscious valley filled with soft purple grass. As her mind came back to her, she recognized this place. Everyday she came here. Everyday she transformed. Stella felt her hips. The usual muscular tissue was soft and round. Her long canine snout was now short and stubby. Her pointed ears became long and floppy. Even her long luxurious tail was reduced to a stubby cotton ball. She was a mochibun through and through. The only features she kept of her original body was her long black hair with a streak of purple along with her natural fur pattern. It made her look as though she wore long black gloves and socks. Stella rubbed the stars on her shoulders. She looked up at the night sky and saw a whole different set of stars than what she would see on Eris. This planet was so new, it didn’t even have a name yet. That was the prize of the game, naming rights.

Stella knew she had to rush to base and pick up her gear. She wouldn’t last too long naked. Stella burrowed deep into the ground, making her way into the network of underground tunnels that wove around the entire planet. It was relatively safer there but since everyone else believed that as well, conflict was inevitable.

As Stella dug deeper and deeper, she wiggled into one of the main tunnels that spanned the globe. The sounds of combat echoed from all sides. She pressed on towards her base, hoping to avoid an early fight. A mochibun her size jumped out in front of her, wielding a dagger. He swung wildly at Stella. She dodged every strike. Stella caught his arm and snapped it like a twig, claiming ownership of the knife. She stabbed him in the chest, causing his physical form to collapse into a blue candy core. Stella swallowed the core and pressed on toward her base. The sounds of combat got louder. Soon Stella was witness to an all out brawl. The buns were flying about in the air, getting knocked around by their peers. Stella slashed her way through the crowd, taking out the weakened and the distracted. She added more to her army with each core swallowed. Stella wouldn’t be able to give a single command until she reached her throne.

Stella turned the corner and was face to face with a bun wielding a minigun. As the barrel spun up, Stella dove for cover. One of the bullets nailed her in the thigh. She yelped in pain and held her thigh to staunch the bleeding. The bun with the gun laughed maniacally as he stepped closer. Stella used the dagger to pry the bullet out of her thigh. She then spat on the wound to jumpstart the healing process. The bun’s laughing stopped and so did the bullets. Stella hopped out with her knife ready to throw. The bun with the minigun slowly fell apart into two pieces. Behind him was a pale mochibun with a black diamond on her chest. Her eyes were gaunt and cheerful. She wielded a katana covered in pink blood. She eyed Stella with a mischievous grin. The pale mochibun giggled and ran off. Stella was shaken but steeled herself to press on.

Stella dashed her way to the base. She slapped her hand on the biorecognition pad. It took a small DNA sample and opened the door. Stella slipped inside and the lights turned on. She grinned at the clone army and the overwhelming arsenal awaiting her command. The clones saluted her and spoke in unison.

“What is your pleasure, my mistress?”

Stella jumped high into the air and landed on her throne. Her neck connected to the HiveNet hardline. Stella’s pupils turned into hearts.

“Attack.”

***

Back on Eris, Nera landed before the Fossil Fumes headquarters. It was a massive twisting  vibrant pink skyscraper. Two steam stacks poked out from the top, pumping out a pink haze. Nera stepped up to the door where two armed dinosaur guards decked out in pink armor stood watch.

“Halt!” the guard said. “This is private property. What business do you have here?”

Nera flashed her S.P.A.W.S. badge. “I have reason to believe a citizen is in distress within the building. I humbly request access to confirm.”

“Itinerary.”

“This is not a part of my route. I am deeply connected with the citizen, and can sense she is here and that she is in pain.”

The guard snorted. “So what? We’re supposed to let you in because your friend stubbed her toe. Get real. Access denied.”

Nera grumbled. “Oh sugar.” She slumped against the building. Her eyes were drawn to a tall flamingo bouncing towards her. She wore a sky blue cheerleader outfit with the words “Fossil Fumes” stretched across her bouncing chest. She carried a dozen shopping bags in her bendy arms. As she passed Nera, the flamingo sniffed the air. She took a step back, leaned in toward Nera and took a deep breath.

“You smell like Stella!” the flamingo said.

Nera perked up. “You know Stella Estrella?”

“For like, three hours but it feels like we have been best friends for eons. How do you know her?”

“I met her off-planet during my training. She fell from orbit and crashed in front of my tent. I nursed her back to health and we have been friends ever since.”

“Oh! So basically what I am doing now!” The flamingo stretched out her hand. “My name is Taffi!”

Nera shook Taffi’s hand. “Nera Shiva”

“I can take you up to see Stella if you want.”

Nera’s tail wagged. “Oh yes please!”

Taffi stepped up to the guards. “Hey Phink! Hey Phonk. I have a guest coming in with me. Both guards got on one knee and tilted their head down with one arm at eye level and parallel to the ground.”

“Yes Ms.Wrex!” They said in unison.

“Ugh, I told you to call me Taffi.”

One guard spoke up. “Apologies Ms.Wrex but we are under strict orders from your grandmother.”

“When this company is mine, that will be the first thing to go.”

The guards spoke in unison again. “We look forward to your reign Ms.Wrex.”

Taffi giggled and beckoned Nera closer. “Come on! Let’s go check in on our friend.”

Taffi led Nera into a chaotic lobby filled with multicolored birds in pink outfits with sky blue accents. They flew and sprinted about with samples and experiments in their wings and beaks. They were all on a different frequency from most citizens as they happily slammed into each other. Despite the chaos, none of them got too close to Taffi. A toucan flapped up to Taffi.

“Howdy Taffi!” the toucan said.

“Hey Tutu! What’ve you got for me?”

“Electrostatic bubblegum. You chew it, blow a bubble and the bubble attracts whatever the user wants! We have been using it to clean lint off clothes and block bullets!” Tutu showed a hologram of a test subject chewing gum, blowing a bubble, the bubble detached from their lips and started sparking with electricity. A minigun fired several rounds that were stopped in their tracks by the bubble.

Taffi clapped her hands together. “Amazing! The security and fashion teams will get a kick out of that. Let’s test it as a dating aid. Attract your type with a single blow.”

“Genius! We’ll get testing right away.” Tutu flew off as a parrot flew in.

“Taffi! Darling! Here is the new alloy for the security team.” the parrot said.

“Let’s test it out!” Taffi wound up her arm and struck the plate with a punch that dented the metal which soon popped back into place. “Perfect! Paint it pink and put it out! Thanks Perry!”

“Of course my sweet!” They kissed each other on both cheeks. Perry flew away and a stork flew up.

“Taffi!” squawked the stork. “The breeding program is running at a hundred and twenty-five percent efficiency. We’re knocking the empire’s quotas out of the park!”

“Take thirty percent of what revenue is over the quota to expand the program. They will start raising quotas one day and I want to get ahead of it.”

“Right away Taffi!” The stork flew off into the gaggle of birds. Taffi led Nera to a glass tube that interlocked with a series of shifting and bending tubes that stretched throughout the building. A warm voice spoke from the tube.

“What is your destination?” The tube asked.

“Infirmary.” Taffi said.

The tube sucked up their bodies and sent Taffi and Nera flying through the building past several sections of research and development. All manner of wacky inventions were on display as they made their way to the infirmary. It seemed to mostly be multipurpose consumables. Nera and Taffi landed in the infirmary. It was a calm scene with a slight echo. Taffi stepped up to the front desk where a hen was sitting on her eggs and reading a magazine. The hen spoke with her beak buried in the book.

“Stella is in bay zero.” said the hen. “From what I understand, her recovery is going quite well.”

“That’s wonderful!” Taffi said. “Thanks Henrietta!” Taffi and Nera walked down the hallway to bay zero where Stella floated in some sort of egg-shaped recovery pod. She was surrounded by a thick pink liquid that moved around her like fluid in a lava lamp. Nera put a hand on the glass.

“What’s this thing?” Nera asked.

Taffi cleared her throat. “Introducing the cutting edge in medical technology, the 3GG Mark one or ‘egg pod’. By using a cocktail of bobabird essences and that of our reptilian ancestors, it revitalizes the mind, body and spirit while leaving you smelling like pink lemonade!”

“How long has she been in there?”

“About two hours. The pod should be done shortly. When she’s finished with her business on The Otherside, she’ll be good as new.”

***

On The Otherside, Stella commanded a massive army that tore through the unnamed planet. Her brutal forces had expanded well beyond her base and established three smaller bases close to the frontline. She was the commander, logistics and manufacturing manager all in one. Her mind raced with the responsibilities of war. Buns dug trenches, mined minerals, fought on the ground and flew high in the sky with their wing augmentations. A timer appeared in her view, signaling the end of her time on The Otherside. Stella pushed her army to claim as much territory as possible, blasting and bombing their way through the planet. As the buzzer went off, Stella had claimed five times the territory she started with. She hoped next time she would wake up in a friendly zone. Her mind zipped out of her mochibun body and back to Eris.

Stella’s eyes bolted open. Her vision was tinted pink by the sweet goo surrounding her. It allowed Stella to breathe and eat at the same time. She calmly floated in the viscous liquid and eyed her two friends smiling at her. Stella grinned until Teresa Wrex came into the room, floating in on a hoverchair. The dinosaur spoke with Stella’s friends. The pod kept the sound from Stella’s ears. Nera’s eyes widened and Taffi grinned. Teresa gestured for them to leave her alone with Stella. Nera came close to the glass and put a hand on it. She looked Stella in the eye and clearly mouthed the words “Good luck”. She turned and started walking out of the room and looked back one last time before the door closed in front of her.

Teresa grimaced at Stella and pressed a button on the pod. The pink goo around the canine drained, leaving her dripping wet at the bottom of the cold metal pod. The pod door opened. Teresa leaned in.

“You owe me a shitload of money.” Teresa said. “Let’s see if you’re worth your trouble.”

The goo slowly dripped down Stella’s body and down the drain. Soon she was completely dry and her fur was as smooth as silk. She was naked.

“Got any clothes?” Stella asked.

“Yeah.” Teresa aimed a hand cannon at Stella. “Hold still.” Teresa pulled the trigger and blasted Stella with a purple goop that spread across her body. It morphed into a body suit similar to her previous stealth suit but much sexier, showing off her long thick muscular legs in a pair of fishnets. Her shoulders were bare, showing off her black stars. “This is a significant upgrade from your previous suit. The stealth feature should fool all but the most perceptive opponents. The material is a symbiote that can take a twenty kiloton blast before dispersing. It will still hurt like hell but should keep you in one piece. Next, you’ll need a proper weapon.”

Teresa pressed a button on her chair and a tube containing a pair of black gauntlets with four smooth orbs on the backs of them. The orbs formed the shape of a diamond. Sharp obsidian claws sparkled on the fingertips. The knuckles had obsidian pyramids on them. “These are the Dimotech obsidian gauntlets Mark one. The form of obsidian used has a durability ten times harder than diamond while maintaining its legendary sharpness.” The tube opened up and the gauntlets became a black mist that coalesced around Stella’s hands, sizing themselves to fit comfortably. They weighed her arms down. “Try to lift your hands into your basic stance. The gyroscope and gravity aid have to be calibrated.”

Stella strained to lift her hands into a standard karate stance. After a few seconds of holding her stance, the gloves felt weightless. Stella turned away from Teresa and bounced around, jabbing and throwing combinations. Each strike crackled with electricity. Her stronger strikes created thunderous booms that echoed throughout the room.

“I have one more gift for you.” Teresa said. She pressed a button on her chair and a hawk in a labcoat wearing an eyepatch walked in with a tray full of syringes. Each syringe had a vibrant fluid of a different color and varied in size. “Only one of these shots is mandatory for working with us. The other two I highly recommend if you want to survive the test.”

Stella chuckled. “I’m no stranger to drugs as long as I know what I’m taking.”

The hawk picked up the pink syringe. “This is the mandatory shot.” said the hawk. “It will connect you with The Gaggle. This is the bobabird version of the mochibun HiveNet. The main difference is that where the HiveNet instills control, The Gaggle encourages chaos. It also creates an unbreakable encryption by making every member of The Gaggle know a tiny piece of the communications between members. This way, nobody knows the full story of any conversation save the beings who engaged in it but if every single member of The Gaggle decided to release information, it would get out.” The hawk injected Stella with the pink fluid. Stella’s pupils played an animation of an egg hatching and a bird soaring out of it. Her mind became a cacophony of chirps, squawks and coos. The noise became louder and more chaotic before silence. Stella tensed up and let out a loud caw like a crow. Her eyes widened and she blushed a deep pink. “That will happen periodically.” said the hawk. “This next one is a defensive injection. Your skin will be like stone and your bones like steel!”

“Hell yeah! Give me that!” Stella said

The hawk injected the blue liquid into Stella. The canine’s body became denser and heavier. Her skin could still feel the light sensations of the air conditioning and her body siding in the chair. The hawk thrust a knife into Stella’s chest. The blade snapped in half and caused her breast to jiggle.

“Pretty badass.” Stella said.

“Super badass!” the hawk said. “This next one is a power stimulant. It increases your muscle mass and amplifies your ki output.”

Ki is the spiritual energy that every living being possesses. It is used for magick spells, flight, and all manner of special feats.

“No reason to deny a power boost.” Stella said. “Hit me!”

The hawk injected Stella with the red liquid. Her muscles bulged and toned up. Her breath was hot and heavy with power. Electricity crackled around her body. Stella grit her teeth as the power surged around her. Teresa pressed a button and a lightning rod rose from the ground. Stella harnessed her ki and shot a bolt at the lightning rod. She held the arc for thirty seconds before relaxing.

“Excellent. You’re ready.” Teresa said. “Follow me.” She led Stella to an elevator that took them to floor B10. The doors opened to several birds training and sparring with each other. Many of them used machines for weightlifting and cardio. In a closed room on the far side, two mech suits battled by slicing with laser swords and firing missiles at each other. Teresa led Stella down the hall to a room marked “Quantum Simulator”. The interior was a light pink room with blank walls. In the center, Taffi was doing a series of stretches which soon turned into shadowboxing. Her attacks consisted mainly of kicks. Taffi sang a lovely melody as she got warmed up. Teresa floated closer to Taffi. “Computer. Start simulation one” said Teresa.

The computer’s voice was light and feminine. “Starting simulation one.”

The room flashed and flickered into an office with a beautiful view of the SilverVale skyline. Stella remembered this view the moment Teresa floated behind the pine desk. The T-rex opened a drawer and pulled out a bottle of whiskey. She poured herself a glass and began sipping.

“Stella.” Said Teresa. “We lost a lot of money pumping that product out of your system. Until that debt is paid, your ass is mine. Taffi needs a long-term bodyguard and I need a loyal dog to do some dirty work. You can be both if you can survive three minutes against Taffi. The timer will start when the first punch is thrown. Any questions?”

Stella raised an eyebrow. “You super charged my body to fight your granddaughter?”

“Correct. She is an absolute beast.”

Taffit did a playful growl that turned into a squealing high-pitched giggle.

“What if I lose?” Stella said

“Well you’d probably be dead so I don’t really care.” Teresa said

Taffi radiated an intense aura. It was like being locked in a cage with a wild animal. Stella swallowed air and took her stance. Taffi turned off the intensity and bounced up to Stella.

“I’ll let you get the first hit.” Taffi said.

“You sure about that?” Stella asked.

Taffi smiled. “I want you to hit me as hard as you can.”

“Uh ok. Where?”

Taffi struck a dramatic pose. “Surprise me!”

“Alright then.” Stella hit Taffi in the beak with a mean uppercut. Taffi’s head stretched up and cracked the stone ceiling. The flamingo grabbed her head and groaned.

“Ah! Right in the beak! Dammit!”

“You told me to hit you.”

“Yeah but why the beak?”

“Well I-I’m sorry…”

“No. That’s perfect.” Taffi slammed her knee into Stella’s stomach and stretched it to crash the canine into the wall, creating a massive crater in the stone. Stella doubled over in pain and collapsed to the ground. Taffi stomped on Stella’s skull, cracking the stone floor. “Hey Granny! I thought I said no more cheap toys! Ahahahahahaha!!!!” The ground rumbled.

“Cheap?” Stella said. “I’ll show you cheap you busty, bubblegum, bimbo!” Stella slammed her fist into the ground, shattering the floor and freeing herself from Taffi’s pressure. Taffi flapped up to safety as Stella fell to the offices below. “Get over here!” Stella said as she reached out to Taffi, creating a giant electricity copy of her gauntlet that grappled Taffi and slammed the bird to the ground. Electricity crackled through the ghost hand causing Taffi to screech in pain. The ear-splitting sound forced Stella to let go and protect her ears from the sonic attack.

The room had everything a typical office would have except for the workers. Stella grabbed the copy machine and tossed it at Taffi who stretched to dodge it. Stella tossed cubicle walls, chairs, desks, anything and everything to help close the distance. Taffi kept dodging and the moment Stella got into range, she blasted the canine with a sonic screech. Stella was sent back flying by the pressure wave. She crashed into a cubicle and quickly regained her footing. Taffi slithered on the ground like a snake and sprung up to wrap around Stella’s body. Stella’s joints popped as Taffi squeezed away at the canine’s body. Stella yelped out in pain before flexing her muscles and charging her ki. Electricity crackled and arched all over her body. The sparking forced Taffit to release her opponent.

Taffi bounced away from Stella and clicked her heels together. Taffi’s legs turned into sparkling diamonds that retained most of her flexibility. Taffi wound up a powerful kick that sent Stella flying back to the other side of the room. As she bounced off the wall, Taffi followed up with a sonic screech. Stella dodged the center of the sound attack while protecting her ears.

Taffi screeched again and again, forcing Stella to rush all along the room. Stella turned on her cloaking device and settled down behind a pile of damaged cubicle walls. Taffi moved closer and closer, clacking her beak and sniffing the air to try and zero in on Stella. Taffi’s head snapped back and crashed into a pile of busted office supplies. Stella gripped the flamingo’s body and delivered a devastating electric shock. Taffi’s head sprung to Stella’s face and hit her with a point blank sonic screech that sent Stella back up to Teresa’s office. Teresa was still at her desk sipping at her whisky. Stella got behind Teresa and kept her eyes locked on the hole in the ground.

“Using me as a shield huh?” Teresa said.

“Might as well if you’re gonna sit here.” Stella said.

Teresa took another sip. “Resourceful but ultimately useless.”

Taffi blasted through the wall with a power screech, ignoring the hole in the floor.

“Using Granny as a shield huh?” Taffi said. “Resourceful but ultimately useless!” Taffi split her head into four copies like a hydra. The four heads harmonized, creating a directional pressure wave that blew Stella out of the window and left Teresa unharmed.

Stella spun like a ragdoll and skipped off the roof of a skyscraper before tumbling toward the ground. Taffi flew in like a jet and stretched her body into a trampoline, slingshotting Stella into the sky. Taffi flew above Stella, gripped the sides of two buildings, stretched up far above the rooftops and smashed her heels into Stella’s spine. Stella came down like a missile, cratering the ground, uprooting the pavement and knocking down several buildings with the impact.

Taffi fluttered down to the street and inflated her body with a deep breath. She blew a powerful wind that cleared the dust cloud created by the strike. Taffi looked around and couldn’t find any trace of Stella. The ground rumbled and Stella sprung up from the planet’s crust. She struck Taffi with a supercharged electric uppercut that sent her head flying up well beyond the skyscrapers. The moment the flamingo’s feet left the ground, Stella grabbed Taffi by the ankles and held her taut body a moment before bringing her down with enough force to splatter Taffi’s pink body on the pavement.

Stella huffed and puffed and hoped it was over. The puddle of pink liquid that made up Taffi’s body slowly congealed into her resting physical form. Taffi peeled herself off the pavement and shook her head until her crossed eyes locked straight. A sickeningly sweet giggle turned into an unhinged cackle. Taffi used twenty seconds of fight time laughing in a boisterous echo that made Stella’s cells shiver.

“Finally!” screeched Taffi. She rocketed towards Stella and dropkicked her in the skull, eliciting a visceral crack. Stella’s neck snapped and spun so hard it would make an owl say ouch. Her body stumbled yet stayed standing despite being disconnected from her brain. “You’re quite the specimen Stella Estrella.” Taffi circled Stella’s trembling body. “Look at you! Medically decapitated and still standing!” Taffi gave Stella a big round of applause. “When I’m in my pod, I need a bodyguard to keep me safe. When I’m out, I need a playmate! A partner. A punching bag.” Taffi threw a jab at Stella and the canine’s arm blocked it. “You’re a beast of pure instinct! We’re birds of a feather and we’ll definitely flock together at least until you repay that debt.” Taffi bounced around and looked Stella in the eye. “So tell me. How do you feel right now?”

Stella’s jaw twitched. “T-this… is… the most electrifying moment of my life!”

Taffi screeched in joy. Her voice shattered all of the glass in a city block. “Yeeees! Yeeeeeees!!! We are going to have oh soooo much fun together!” Taffi curled up around Stella and ran her tongue all along the canine’s broken neck. Her saliva sparkled as Stella’s neck snapped and contorted back into place. Stella felt her body to confirm her connections were all correct. She jabbed the air a few times and lowered into a primal stance.

“How much time do we have left?” Stella asked.

Taffi bounced in her fighting stance. “Thirty seconds.”

“Let’s rock.”

***

The moment the doors closed behind Nera, she went into labor. She barely had time to worry about Stella waiting in the pod for her fight. Her insides ached and cramped. And intense heat washed over her. Her legs wobbled and soon gave out. Taffi sprung into action, morphing into a wheelchair and carrying Nera back to Henrietta. The folf could only whine and groan at this point.

“Nera is about to lay a clutch of eggs.” Taffi said

Henrietta perked up. “Use the teleporter to take her to the maternity ward. I’ll alert them that you’re on the way.”

Nera started saying thank you but was cut off by the pain of a contraction and subsequent expansion. Her belly doubled in size. Taffi held strong and took Nera to the teleporter. In less than a nanosecond, they were in the maternity ward. Bloated birds were wheeled around. Nurses calmly carried clutches  of eggs to the incubators. It was a gentle chaos like a lindyhop competition. Nera shrieked in pain as she was wheeled up to the check in desk. A rooster with tan plumage handed Taffi a data orb.

“Connect this with the patient so we can get her medical history.”

Taffi leaned in. “This will collect your medical data. Do you consent to that?”

Nera nodded and yelped. “Y-yes!”

Taffi reached behind Nera’s head and felt the back of her neck to get the HiveNet hardline. She connected the blue tentacle to the orb. The orb pulsed with a soft glow then dinged to indicate it was done collecting data. Nera disconnected from the orb and Taffi handed it back to the rooster.

“Excellent!” said the rooster. “We have a bed ready for you in room number thirty-two thousand seven hundred eighty one.”

Taffi’s eyes glowed pink as she downloaded the route to the room from The Gaggle. “Got it! Thanks Derek.”

Derek shot Taffi finger guns. “Anytime sweetcheeks.”

Taffi wheeled Nera to the elevator. When the lift arrived, they rolled inside and the door closed behind them.

“We’re firing Derek on TooVoosday.” Taffi said.

The elevator doors opened up to a horrific symphony of shrill squawks. Nurses and doctors rushed between the rooms while a single janitor shuffled behind them in a delayed conga line.

Taffi rolled Nera into her room and laid her down on the bed. The room was pristine with the gentle smell of lemon wafting through the air. Soon a stork doctor walked into the room. She was the same one they spoke with in the lobby earlier.

“Good to see you again Samantha.” Taffi said.

“Same to you. I had a feeling you would end up in my care Ms. Shiva.” Nera groaned and tried to smile. “There’s no need to be brave here.” Samantha said. “Relax and let yourself go. It’s ok to show your pain.”

Nera took the doctor’s orders and howled in pain while tensing and writhing about. The stork stretched her neck to lay her head on Nera’s belly and listen in on the eggs. When she did, Nera’s stomach expanded again, smacking the stork and sending her head flying back. Samantha reeled her neck back to its resting length.

“Yep! They’re ready!” Samantha said. “Let’s get you off your back and get gravity to do the work.”

Samantha clattered her beak in a clear pattern that was repeated by beeps from above. A bundle of pink ribbons dropped from above and curled around Nera’s limbs. They hoisted Nera up and rotated her so that her hefty belly pointed downward. Nera shivered as she could feel the first egg slipping out. The folf moaned as she felt her warm wet canine pussy part. A hole in the floor opened up to collect the eggs. Taffi gently petted nera’s head.

“You’re in good hands.” Taffi said. “I’ll be back to check up on you after the fight.” Taffi bounced out of the room, rolling her shoulders.

“Alright Nera, give me a nice big push.” Samantha said.

Nera grunted as she complied, slowly stretching her spade. Once the first cantaloupe-sized egg burst forth, she shot out the rest of them like a machine gun. Nera squirted hard all over the floor, making a massive puddle of her wet sticky juices. Samantha flapped backwards and let the drains take care of the excess.

After five minutes, the eggs popped out of Nera in a slow trickle. Soon, her belly receded and her yelps turned into moans. Each egg became a source of pure ecstasy, tickling her clit and g-spot perfectly each time. Every egg coaxed out a shivering moaning orgasm that joined the symphony of erotic coos and squawks that echoed throughout the busy ward.

Eventually Nera was out of eggs and the hole in the floor closed up. Nera’s hole wasn’t so lucky. The stretched cookie spasmed and squirted again and again trying to close up. Nera huffed and puffed and composed herself well despite her needy gaping pussy. The ribbons lowered Nera down as the bed rose to meet her. She rested a moment before Taffi stepped back into the room carrying a purple candy core in her hands.

“How are you feeling?” Taffi asked.

“A good night’s rest and I’ll be right as rain.” Nera said. She eyed the candy core in Taffi’s hands. “How did the test go?”

Taffi smiled. “Stella passed with flying colors. She lasted with two seconds left on the clock. Her resilience and ferocity won me over. You really have a special friend here.”

“Yeah, she really is.”

Stella’s candy core glowed a bright purple light. It floated up in the air and the light was blocked by Stella’s biomass coalescing around the core. Soon her entire body reformed and gently landed on the floor. Her bare paws landed in the sticky fluid left over from the egg-laying process.

“Eugh! Looks like I missed the show.” Stella said.

“Don’t worry,” said a disembodied voice in the corner. “I recorded the whole thing.” Neige’s body formed from the shadows. Her black wings flapped to keep her afloat.

“Send me that.” Stella said.

“Certainly!” Neige’s eyes contracted into hearts. Stella’s eyes turned into bells with a red one next to them.

“I’ll be sure to enjoy that later.”

Nera’s eyes glowed blue as a priority message played in her mind. Her consciousness soon came back to the room and she hopped out of bed. “Emergency meeting. I gotta head back to headquarters.” As Nera and Neige left the room, the little black bunny’s eyes turned into coins, signalling that the payment went through for the clutch of eggs.

“Speaking of meetings,” Taffi said. “Granny wants to talk to you in her real office. Alone.”

Chapter 4

Kavara fought to stay in the sky as a wave of nausea hit her. She was thankful for Nera taking down that giant monster. She only had another minute of power left. When Kavara saw Nera stumble, she knew for certain that Stella was sick with something. Kavara was connected deeply with Nera, Stella and Crystal no matter how far apart they were. Crystal usually kept to herself in a forest somewhere on the light side of the planet. All four of them could feel what Kavara was feeling right now, Nausea, headache, dizziness and a full body ache that yearned for something. Kavara had to stay strong. She was in her Pyrowitch costume and floating in front of hundreds of citizens. Kavara did well to not show a flicker of weakness. A hero like Pyrowitch was a symbol of peace to all who knew her. Compared to weakening that image, this sickness was nothing. Kavara didn’t move an inch as Nera rode off toward Stella. The legendary Pyrowitch had to do a boisterous send off without losing her lunch. She cleared her throat to test her body. All clear.

“Let this be a lesson.” Pyrowitch said. “The peace of our fair planet rests in the hands of all. Every action is a step towards saving the world, no matter how small. If you act with kindness and virtue, you can always stand tall! Ahahahahaha!” That was exactly as much as she could say without voiding her stomach. She struck a powerful pose for the cameras, letting the people bask in her aura. As they did, she swallowed down what tried to come up. Once she had a moment of control, she said the magic words. “Pyronado!!!” And spun like a top, generating a tornado of flame around her before blasting off into the sky. She flew high and far, out of view before darting behind a dumpster in a nearby alley.

Though she wore the costume, Kavara wasn’t Pyrowitch when she was puking her guts out. Superheroes don’t vomit. They are perfect teflon. Unbothered. Unbreakable. The tabloids would have a field day with a picture of her hunched over. Pyrowitch snapped her fingers and changed into Kavara, mild-mannered middle manager for pyrotech. Kavara tossing her cookies behind a dumpster was nothing new. Kavara’s super hero abilities came from a potion cocktail that was intensely addictive. The nausea, headaches, chills and other things were on a timer that she perfectly coordinated most days. Whatever Stella was going through was enough to knock her off balance. She’d have to check in with her at Fossil Fumes ASAP. She already had some business with the CEO. Though, if Nera was on a hoverbike, maybe the train would be fine. No need to rush when help was already on the way right?

As Kavara stumbled out of the gutter, her ears twitched to the distant sound of a mithsteel vault door being carved open.
