Chapter 5

Crystal gracefully stepped through the tall grass, running her fingers through the foliage. The morning air was crisp and clear. The wind was gentle against her maroon fur. Her sky blue hair waved in the breeze as she listened to nature’s beautiful symphony play its eternal song. She saw a red flower off in the distance. Crystal ran toward the ampliflower and reached out to harvest it. The moment she touched it, the flower turned to dust. Nature’s music stopped and the tall grass was aflame. The sky went pitch black, illuminated by the glow of the fire. Ashes danced in the wind and smoke choked the maroon fox. Crystal coughed violently as she ran through the burning brush. The flames encircled her. The smoke made her eyes water. She turned her weakened gaze up to the darkened sky and saw a shooting star blaze by, getting larger and larger as it flew toward the horizon. It landed with a blinding flash and massive force that sent Crystal flying back. The fox screamed as she fell through an endless void of light.

Crystal sprouted up from her slumber, panting heavily as her eyes adjusted to her surroundings. She gazed upon her fellow commune members fast asleep in the massive bed they all shared. It was a soft pit of pillows and blankets with a diverse group of beings all wearing wispy white robes. Crystal evened her breathing with a deep sigh and laid down in a pile of pillows. She was thankful for the ability to dream even if it welcomed the occasional nightmare. It was much better than colonizing planets on The Otherside.

Crystal lived in a commune that was tucked away in the forests of Bravia, far away from the empire’s interests. It allowed for a level of freedom and privacy that was impossible to find in cities like SilverVale. The commune required long days of hard work and would have been all but impossible without the investment of the Fossil Fumes CEO Teresa Wrex. They have to meet a quota of ampliflowers in order to retain their funding. Despite the challenges, Crystal had found her own little slice of paradise in the forest.

Some of Crystal’s companions started to stir from their slumber. A brown squirrel with hazelnut highlights stretched and yawned next to her. “Good morning Crystal!”said the squirrel.

“Good morning Sarah.”

Sarah curled up next to Crystal. “Hope you slept well.”

Crystal rubbed her eyes. “I had an awful nightmare. The entire forest was on fire and some strange shooting star hit the planet!”

“Oh my!” Sarah exclaimed. “Is there anything I can do to help take your mind off of it?” She gently caressed Crystal’s left breast while tracing around the fox’s nipple with her thumb.

“I wanna help too!” said a lime green mochibun as she grabbed Crystal’s right breast.

Crystal smiled at the green rabbit. “Good morning Lisa.” A warm blush washed over the fox’s face. Crystal cooed like a dove as her companions toyed around with her ample bust. They began licking and sucking away at her hardened nipples. As Crystal moved her hand toward her own warm wet lower lips, she felt a wet snout press up against her pussy and take a nice deep breath of her warm scent.

“Don’t forget me!” said the raccoon with her head in between Crystal’s legs.

Crystal moaned as her toes curled. “G-good morning Roxie.” The raccoon went to town on Crystal’s pussy, licking around her clit in circles and gently sucking. Roxie slipped a few fingers into the fox’s warm wet canal and moved her tongue toward Crystal’s tight winking anus. Roxie lovingly ate her lover’s ass while gently stimulating Crystal’s g-spot.

All of this attention sent waves of pleasure throughout Crystal’s body. She squirmed and writhed about letting out a symphony of soft moans as the trio toyed around with all of her special areas. Roxie firmly gripped Crystal’s thighs to hold the fox steady as she really dug in. Sarah and Lisa synchronized their sucking as if to try and milk Crystal’s massive breasts. With their combined efforts, some milk did begin to squirt from the fox’s perky nipples as she got closer to the edge. The warm tingling tension built up more and more until Crystal’s back arched and her body tensed up. She squirted hard in Roxie’s face and a torrent of warm milk sprayed into Sarah’s and Lisa’s mouths. Crystal shuddered and moaned as she rode out the intense orgasm that pulsated throughout her body. Crystal’s companions pulled away to let her rest. The maroon fox laid back panting in an attempt to catch her breath. She smiled at the trio. “Mmmmh thank you for the wake up call.” An array of slimy green tentacles sprouted from Crystal’s back. “Time to return the favor.”

The long smooth prehensile tentacles curled around the three women, gently groping at their breasts and leaving a slick lubricant in their wake. Crystal commanded the tentacles with expert precision, wiggling one down in between Sarah’s legs, slowly parting the squirrel’s lower lips. The tentacle worked its way into Sarah’s pussy, coaxing a cute squeak out of her. Another tentacle slipped into Lisa’s mouth, curling around the rabbit’s tongue. The slimy lubricant was sweet like honey. Another tentacle pressed up against Roxie’s rump and slithered into her tight asshole. The raccoon let out a passionate groan as Crystal dug deep into her guts.

The lube on the tentacles had a hormonal effect that heightened arousal and physical sensitivity. All three women blushed hard as a warmth ran across their bodies. Crystal pointed the final tentacle at her own clit, gently rubbing it in circles as she watched her three comrades squirm and moan at the slippery attention. Crystal synchronized with each woman, giving them exactly what they needed and maintaining their preferred paces. Her mind controlled the tentacles with a level of ease and coordination that most wouldn’t have with their own hands. The four women created a lovely quartet of lusty moans that made for a beautiful erotic symphony. Each one achieved a powerful orgasm at their own pace. First it was Sarah, squeezing her thick thighs around the squirming tentacle as she squirted hard on the plush floor. Next was Lisa whose foot repeatedly thumped against a pillow throughout her orgasm. Next was Roxie who let out a guttural moan as her eyes rolled back and her ass clenched hard. Last was Crystal who let out a deep sigh as her dripping wet pussy sprayed her rich creamy juices. She retracted her tentacles and cuddled up with her three partners. They laid in each other’s arms, panting and moaning while idly petting one another. After everyone had enough time to relax, Crystal stood up and tightened her robe. She blew one final kiss to the trio before making her way to a changing room.

Every member of the commune had a set of gear that matched with whatever job they had. Some were dairy workers that either helped with the milking or were milked themselves. Others were harvesters that picked the flowers and produce. Crystal was a beekeeper. Her job was to take care of the bee hives and collect the honey. Crystal dawned her veil, jacket, pants and gloves to protect herself from the stinging insects. She exited the changing room through the door that led outside of the living quarters. Crystal waved at a few of her other comrades as she made her way to the hive tent. The entrance to the hives was a two door system where only one door could be open at a time to prevent bees from slipping out. As she stepped inside, Crystal was greeted to the familiar hum of tens of thousands of bees buzzing all around her. Each of the hives towered above her reaching up higher than the trees.

The bees of Eris were massive vicious creatures that could sting an infinite amount of times and their venom was a potent neurotoxin that could paralyze most in only a handful of stings. Both the toxin and the honey were valuable commodities that helped offset the expenses of the commune. The bee suit was specifically made to collect the neurotoxin as the bees tried to sting through it. The bees surrounded her, plunging their stingers into the thick suit as Crystal connected a hose to one of the hives. The other end was connected to a series of large containers adjacent to the hives. Once it was securely fastened, she turned the valve causing a torrent of sticky honey to glorp out of the hive and into the container. Gravity did most of the work while the hose provided a gentle suction to speed up the process without disturbing the bees.

As Crystal waited for the hive to empty, she used the tip of her finger to gently pet at the bees that aggressively tried to kill her. She didn’t take it personally. It was simply their nature. It’s what they were made to do. Not every being had the luxury of ignoring their purpose. Crystal sighed as she thought of SilverVale and the friends she left behind. The days of touring around the city as a rock band were some of the best memories of her life. Crystal’s suit beeped, warning her that the toxin collector was close to being full. As she walked to the other side of the room, Crystal hummed the tune of “Caring Crescent”, one of the band’s songs. The gentle melody calmed the bees, pausing their intense stinging. They instead buzzed their wings in time with the song. Crystal reached behind her back and detached the canister full of neurotoxin and replaced it with an empty one. She finished her song which prompted the bees to continue stinging.

“What a beautiful song.” said a fellow beekeeper.

“Beauty doesn’t pay the bills.” Crystal mumbled. It was her grandmother’s motto. Every time Crystal sang a song, painted her feelings or wrote a story, she got the same response.

“Still, I enjoyed it.” said the beekeeper. “Surely that has value.”

Crystal smiled. “Thank you.”

“Did you write it yourself?”

“Yes. I played the piano a few years back.”

“Oh my! That’s lovely! Why haven’t I heard you play before?”

Crystal’s smile disappeared. “I haven’t touched it since the band broke up. When I try to play, I just freeze up.”

“Oh… I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to bring up a bad memory.” The beekeeper stepped up closer to Crystal. She was a pale mochibun with short curly black hair. Her eyes were gaunt and cheerful.

Crystal sighed. “It’s ok. You didn’t know.”

The beekeeper stepped closer. “You said you were in a band. Did you play any shows?”

Crystal smiled. “A few small ones over in SilverVale.”

“I bet you all rocked hard as hell.”

Crystal chuckled. “Yeah it was pretty fun.” A tear ran down her cheek. “I’d give anything to go on tour again.”

“Anything huh?” The beekeeper stepped closer and slowly reached out to Crystal. She gently gripped the fox’s hands and firmly squeezed. “I’m sure you’ll get there some day.” Instead of the usual heart pupils that most had in moments of intense emotion, the beekeeper’s pupils were sharp unsettling black diamonds. Crystal appreciated the gesture but felt a growing sense of unease.

“I don’t think I’ve seen you here before. What’s your name?”

“Marla.” Said the beekeeper. She let go of Crystal’s hands and started walking away. “I can’t wait to see your band live one day Crystal.” Soon Marla was out of sight and Crystal was left alone with nothing but the sound of the hose noisily slurping up the honey. She felt a disturbing tingle run up her tail. Crystal closed the valve and shook the bees off of her body before running off after Marla. She searched the entire tent but didn’t see any sign of her. Crystal was the only beekeeper in the entire area. Eventually, another beekeeper stepped into the tent. It was her friend Jenny, a yellow canary.

“Jenny!” Crystal said. “Have you seen another beekeeper recently? A mochibun with white fur and short curly black hair?”

Jenny tilted her head. “Another beekeeper? That doesn’t make sense. You and I are the only ones on the schedule for this shift.”

Crystal felt sick to her stomach. Her instincts ran wild, screaming at her that something awful was going to happen. Crystal focused her mind and tried to telepathically reach out to her friends back in SilverVale. She sent a ping to Nera. Nothing. She sent one to Kavara. Nothing. She sent one to Stella. Nothing.

Some commotion started up outside of the beekeeping tent. Crystal rushed out to see what was going on. The other members of the commune were looking up at the sky. Crystal looked up in horror as the usual orange sunrise was replaced by a pitch black sky with a shooting star cutting through it. The star got bigger and brighter as it disappeared over the horizon. A bright flash of light followed that created an oppressive glow that lit the sky up again. Crystal stripped off her beekeeping gear and rushed toward the source of the glow.

The other members of the commune had gathered around the crash site. They muttered amongst themselves as they looked at the massive crater in awe. Crystal pushed her way to the front. She looked down at the crater and saw a strange glowing pod at the center. It looked like some kind of giant seed that glowed a bright white light. The seed cracked and shook the planet. White mist spewed out of the seed and spread throughout the air. The crowd gasped and shrieked as they backed away from the crater. The ones closest to the seed started coughing violently before collapsing to the ground. The crowd panicked and fled from the site. Crystal wanted to run. Everything in her body screamed for her to get away. She was stuck, helplessly frozen as she watched one after another of her comrades become victims to the white mist. It soon reached her, making her head spin before she too lost consciousness.

***

Nera arrived at the S.P.A.W.S. headquarters, her body still sore from birthing that clutch of eggs at Fossil Fumes. She got an urgent message about an emergency meeting that required the attention of all S.P.A.W.S. members. Neige coalesced from Nera’s shadow as Nera approached the building.

“You should head home.” Nera said. “These meetings can run long.”

“I’ll get started on dinner.” Neige replied. “Spaghetti ok?”

“Perfect.”

Neige flapped away high into the sky and darted toward the dark side of Eris. Nera took a deep breath before stepping through the front door of S.P.A.W.S. headquarters. The building was a madhouse with beings of all sizes dressed in blue and silver all rushing to the grand hall. Nera pushed her way through the hustle and bustle, eventually finding a decent seat. Once everyone was settled down, a small blue mochibun with black hair took the stage. Nera recognized him as Captain Yagi’s helper bun and second in command.

“Thank you all for answering my summons.” said the mochibun. “My name is Satti. As you all know, Captain Yagi is the only one that can call an emergency meeting like this but due to the nature of the incident at hand, I was forced to do it in his stead. About three hours ago, the First Bank of SilverVale was engulfed in a massive black orb.” A hologram image of the bank projected behind Satti. It showed dozens of S.P.A.W.S. agents and vehicles surrounding a black swirling orb several stories high. “The orb appeared shortly after Captain Yagi entered the bank to confront a group of robbers attempting to crack open the vault. I tried entering the orb but was pushed out almost exactly the same way I came in. I originally thought this to be some kind of teleportation magick that was employed by one of the robbers. After accessing their individual profiles, it was deemed to be highly unlikely. We then ran several tests on the energy signature of the orb. It was a ninety nine percent match with Captain Yagi’s ki.”

The hall erupted into a cacophony of gasps and whispers. Nera’s heart sank. There was no way grandpa Yagi would betray the order, especially over money. Nera had known him since the day she hatched from her egg. He was a stern, stubborn and unyielding man of unquestionable honor. In all the years she had known him, Nera had not once seen her grandfather act selfishly. Nera stood up.

“What about the one percent?” Nera said.

Satti projected a complex array of charts. “The remaining one percent was of an unknown origin. We are still working to figure out the nature of this ki and what it can do. At the moment, we have at least been able to capture the signature so if we encounter it again, we’ll recognize it. I’ll be uploading the signature along with recordings of the crime scene to all of you now.” Satti closed his eyes. Nera felt a packet of information drop into her mind. “The current working theory is that someone used Captain Yagi’s power. The how and why are still unknown.”

A grey mochibun stood up. “It could also be possible that the captain collaborated with the robbers. All that money in there, it could really change a man.”

Nera’s snout creased as she snarled at the grey rabbit. “Say that again and I’ll crush you!”

“Order!” yelled Satti. “Order! While we are looking at all possibilities, the captain abandoning his duty is categorized as highly unlikely. However, if word got out that the captain’s energy signature matched the orb, it would be all the press would need to drag his name through the mud and the whole organization with it, which is why I will be placing an encryption enchantment on the memories of today’s meeting. If anyone tries to talk about the details of the meeting outside of official channels, the information will be blocked and I’ll be notified of any attempts to breach the enchantment. Until we have the full story, everything here is top secret.” There was some mild muttering which soon calmed. “Our current priority is to find the origin of that remaining one percent we read from the orb. Until we get a lead, I am freeing you all from your usual duties to patrol your sectors around the clock. Any questions.” The grey mochibun stood up again. “Yes Brutus?”

“Hypothetically, if the captain did betray the order, what would be our course of action?”

“Take him down and bring him in to face trial. Nobody is above judgement.” Satti’s words echoed throughout the hall. “Anything else? No? Dismissed!”

Nera shuffled out of the meeting hall with the rest of the S.P.A.W.S. agents. She packed herself into a crowded elevator and made her way to the forty-fourth floor. Nera strode through the busy office to her desk where she sat down and connected the hardline to her mind. The chair downloaded all of her memories of the day. Once it was done, it disconnected from the back of her head. As she stood up, she eyed a picture of herself and her grandfather that was on her desk. It was from the day she was accepted into S.P.A.W.S. It was one of the few days she had ever seen grandpa Yagi smile.

Nera gathered her things and headed toward the train station. On the way there, she combed over every detail of the meeting. She skimmed through the recordings of the crime scene hoping to find some clues. Nera continued looking through the files and findings again and again as she stepped into the train. She was deep in thought, analyzing every piece of data she was given. After flipping through the facts a dozen times, something in the air caught Nera’s attention. She took a few deep sniffs, inhaling an enticing and vaguely familiar aroma. Her eyes locked with a pale mochibun with short curly black hair. It was Marla Bohemia, the breeding bun that she had set Leonidas up with just a few hours ago. Marla’s eyes were bright and beaming with deep dark circles. The rabbit’s gaunt cheerful gaze stayed steady, staring directly into Nera’s soul. Marla sat in the seat opposite of Nera, several falps away. Marla smiled and spread her legs wide, revealing a pair of black and white striped panties underneath her long black skirt. The warm scent smacked Nera in the face as if she was just ilps away from the rabbit’s fragrant crotch. Nera breathed deep of the scent and compared it to the signature Satti had given the S.P.A.W.S. agents. It was a match.

Nera started to stand but heard a voice ring in her mind. “Sit!” Nera sat. “Good girl. Now stay.” Marla moved a paw in between her own legs and rubbed herself through her striped panties. The rabbit squirmed and moaned as she pleasured herself in public, right in front of the agent that had a thousand questions burning in her mind. Nera couldn’t stand. She couldn’t speak. All she could do was sit back and enjoy the show. As Marla fingered herself, the air became thick with her stimulating scent. Nera felt her cock slowly harden up, pitching a tent in her skirt. Her mouth watered and her throbbing shaft leaked out spurts of warm sticky precum that darkened the blue fabric of her dress. Nera was fully erect, helplessly throbbing; her skirt barely covered her massive horse cock. Marla really got to work, enthusiastically fingering herself in front of the folf. The rabbit’s sticky juices dripped from her lower lips and pooled onto the train seat. Nera couldn’t even hump the air. Her body was locked in place by some kind of spell. She could close her eyes or look away but she didn’t. She soaked in every single moment of Marla masturbating. Warm drool dripped down Nera’s chin as a pool of precum formed on the floor underneath her. Marla started picking up the pace, pleasuring herself until her body tensed, her back arched and she squirted hard through a powerful orgasm. Her creamy cum soaked into those panties and covered her seat. Marla laid back panting a moment before smiling at Nera. The train came to a stop. Marla slowly slipped those striped panties off of her round rabbit rump and left them on the seat in a pool of fragrant cum. She blew Nera a kiss before exiting the traincar. As the doors closed and the train started up again, Nera heard Marla’s voice in her mind. “Okay.”

Nera felt herself regain control of her body. She hungrily darted across the train and snatched up Marla’s cum-soaked panties. She breathed deep of the rich addicting scent while stroking away at her aching throbbing cock. Nera’s tip flared, her balls clenched but she remained stuck right on the edge of orgasming. She stroked herself harder and faster, fingering her pussy, playing with her breasts, slipping a few fingers into her soft puffy donut. No matter what she did, Nera stayed a hair away from blowing her load. Her face blushed red with ecstasy and frustration as she did everything in her power to push herself over the edge. She toyed with herself the entire train ride home, spurting out massive globs of clear sticky precum. As she reached Zekul station, Marla’s voice rang in her mind again. “If you want to cum, meet me at this location tomorrow at 0800 hours.” Coordinates pinged into Nera’s mind that pointed to a forest deep in Bravia. “Come alone.”

Nera stumbled out of the train. Her mind was lost in a haze of untamed lust that left her entire body sensitive to the cold air. Nera’s crotch burned hot with a needy unyielding ache. With each step, she left drops of her own fragrant juices behind. Nera made her way to the gondola and rode alone up the mountain toward her neighborhood. She idly stroked her flaring length as she thought up ways to finish. Nera’s mind drifted to a passionate night she shared with Stella back when the band was together. They had played a show in the dead center of the summer zone. The heat had everyone dripping with sweet delicious sweat. Stella was especially pungent after drumming for hours. Nera let her mind get lost in the memory of Stella’s warm dark musky asshole. The memory played and caused her nervous system to fire with the phantom sense of having that meaty donut pressed up against her snout. Nera could feel the weight on her face. She could smell her ass, taste the sweat. She could feel Stella’s footpaw aggressively rubbing up and down her long flaring equine length. Stella’s phantom body stroked Nera harder and faster while the goth’s muscular ring clenched hard against the princess’ white snout. Nera played the memory all the way up to where she would climax but the sensation was blocked. She couldn’t feel it in the memory. Nera went back again and again but no matter how many times she went through it, she couldn’t even remember what an orgasm felt like. Clearly she needed the real thing. Nera sent out a mental ping to Stella. Nothing. Her heart jumped into her throat. She pinged Kavara. Nothing. Crystal. Nothing.

“Looking for your friends?” Marla’s voice rang in Nera’s mind. “Don’t worry your pretty little head. They’re safe with me, for now.”

Nera bared her fangs. “You’d better not lay a finger on them or so help me-”

Marla chuckled. “I have no interest in harming your buddies but if you alert S.P.A.W.S. to my location, I can’t guarantee their safety. I’ll explain it all tomorrow. Until then, rest up ice princess.”

Nera’s mind went silent. The gondola came to a stop. Nera stepped out with an eerily calm stride. Her mind no longer registered the aches and pains. Her body no longer felt tired. She smiled. She laughed. She laughed some more. She let go and let the fire in her chest consume her. Her sapphire eyes turned blood red. “Game on bitch!”

Chapter 6 (Sneak Peek)

Marla sat alone in her filthy apartment. Take out containers and half-empty bottles of various liquids lined the floor. She sat in her hardline chair, using it to surf the HiveNet. Marla made her way through news articles, porn sites, and fandom forums. Nothing stimulated her anymore. Nothing motivated her anymore. She had cashed in enough money as a breeding bun that as long as she didn’t live lavishly, all her needs would be met for the next ten thousand years at least. She was never one for flashy trinkets or big penthouse apartments. All she needed was her food, her chair and something exciting to do.

While Marla was flipping through music videos, she stumbled across one for a band called “Full Moon”. It had only a few hundred views and not a single comment. Marla shrugged and hit play. It started with a long guitar screech that sent chills up the mochibun’s spine. A killer riff kicked off and the drums teased the pace with a few cymbal hits. The drummer played a quick fill and kept the pace as the bass warmed things up. Finally a piano played that made an enticing melody that hooked Marla in. The camera showed off four naked canines as they played their instruments. Between their bodies and the beat, Marla thumped her feet against the floor, her eyes wide with big hearts. She smiled as she swayed with the song, lost in the story the music told. There were no lyrics but Marla understood them perfectly. She felt their pain, their triumph, their joy. The song swelled to a big finale that stimulated her senses. Once the song ended, the band all bowed their heads together and said “Thank you.” before the video cut.

Marla smiled. For the first time in a very long time, she genuinely smiled. The algorithm read her reaction and sent a notification that Full Moon was playing a show tonight right here in SilverVale. Marla paid the thousand claws for the ticket and rushed out to make it on time. She telepathically called a hovertaxi that scooped her up the moment she stepped out of her apartment.

“You sure you wanna take this ride?” Asked the driver. “It’s gonna be seven thousand claws to get there.”

“I’ll pay double if you step on it.” Marla said.

“Roger roger!”

The taxi sped off into the sky, dodging a weaving through the heavy traffic. Marla’s body pressed into the seat as the driver floored it toward her destination. It was a warehouse on the outskirts of district twelve. The taxi landed in front of a sketchy scene with several gangsters and junkies milling about. Marla hopped out of the cab and telepathically sent the doubled amount to the driver.

“Wait!” said the driver. “You sure you’re gonna be alright around here?”

Marla looked back at him and smiled. “I can take care of myself.”

She darted off to the warehouse. A big black dragon bouncer leaned against the door with his arms crossed, snoozing. Marla stepped up to the door. “Excuse me?” she said. The bouncer did not stir. Marla cleared her throat and tried again. “Excuse me!” The dragon jolted awake and looked around before turning his head down at the tiny white rabbit standing in front of him. Marla pulled out her holophone, showing a ticket. “I’m here for the show.” The bouncer scanned her ticket and gestured for her to go inside. Marla walked onto an almost empty dance floor. The instruments were all set up and the lights dimmed. A soft white mist flowed from the stage. The guitarist teleported into position and started playing that long screech Marla had heard before. The drummer flashed in with a crackle of lightning and kept the pace. The bass player appeared through a burst of flame and filled in the sound. The keyboardist popped in through a tornado of flower petals and carried the melody. Marla’s neurons fired off in a cocktail of excitement as she cheered the band on.

Marla sat in the grass, deep in the forests of Bravia, feeling the phantom sense memory of the first time she saw Full Moon live. She rode out the high of the memory and looked at her holophone. Any second now, the guitarist should teleport in. Marla settled back into her current reality, hearing the birds chirping, the sound of the leaves rustling in the wind. She wondered how the creatures here would adapt? How many of them would survive?

At 0800 hours on the dot, Marla saw a white canine with blue highlights teleport on the exact coordinates she had sent. She wore a blue dress with silver trim and wielded a sheathed katana in her hand. The folf had a stern look in her eyes as she stared Marla down. The mochibun felt a delightful shiver run up her spine.

“Glad you could make it, Nera.” Marla said.

“Where are my friends?” growled Nera.

“Patience girl. Patience. It’s all about the anticipation. It makes the payoff all that much sweeter.”

Nera drew her blade. “I won’t ask again!”

Marla sighed. “Damn. No love for theatrics anymore?” Nera teleported behind Marla and swung at the rabbit’s neck. “Sit!” Nera froze just an ilp away from chopping off Marla’s head before planting her butt on the ground.

Nera struggled to stand. “What the hell is this?”

Marla giggled. “You’re gonna give me a private show. I hope you still remember the notes.”
