This happened before she completely fell for David. She is having a hard time because David keeps popping up in her head and won't leave! She is very confused about her own feelings, haha! I wanted to draw her blushing and covering her face with her soft hair again, so I drew this! Thanks for watching!

I seriously love this! 💖 Her hair seriously does look so soft, right? You drew that aspect really well. You can see it in how her hair becomes messy in her hands and easily bunches against her puffed cheeks when she moves her hands there 🤗 I love the image and concept of it, thanks so much for thinking of this! The idea of Kaisa innocently struggling with her affection for David is honestly too cute! 😭 It lingers with me in my mind!! She's really cute and innocent isn't she? Underneath her dark and gothic fashion sense, and lifelong commitment to her Witch studies, Kaisa is someone still like a child herself. Maybe because the Witches are so studious and hidden from the outside world? As a result: when she feels these butterflies in her heart for the first time, around her close partner in adventures, she doesn't have an immediate understanding why. She reacts with confusion and frustration and a childish blushing face, as she can't help but think of this boy all the time all of a sudden! And the unfamiliar joy she gets around him. Kaisa's expression and the cute full cheeks you drew her with communicate that really well! 💜 At the same time I also really love the background. The flying pink faces of David are relatable because they're the parts I find so cute about him too! His boyish happiness, his little jokes, the cute times when he is scared, the occasional strong times when he is determined. Artworks like this with many of a characters' faces are my favourites, because they're like a picturebook of the many different personalities one person can have, right? Especially for Kaisa, who is replaying all of them obsessively right now, haha! 😂 🧡 I can only imagine Kaisa's naive thoughts: "I liked seeing him do all of these, I want to spend more time with him tomorrow!" I also appreciate the warm colours and lighting that you applied to Kaisa's skin and face. Blushing scenes and lovey-dovey puppylove are meant to create heat, so it only makes sense right? Her rosy face, chubby cheeks, the sweat on her forehead, sunny yellow skin, sparkly pink eyes, and the cascade of soft warm red on her forehead make me feel warm as well! That's why it's really well-depicted. Overall I wanna say again that I really love it. These kind of innocent confused loveydovey images are so rare, especially with [oneshota] type couples. Seeing Kaisa react cutely before they're an experienced couple, to the thought of the boy she goes on adventures with, it's a really unique experience you know? I appreciate the imagination and understanding for her character that went into it! It has so much adorable personality it's basically radiating off of the page! 💜🧡 I almost relate to Kaisa in a sense, this is how I must look when I'm thinking so hard of precious beautiful David/Kaisa scenes like this! It's thanks to you!

I'm so glad you liked the drawing of her! I can tell how much you love the artworks about her and how much you cherish and adore her, haha! We don't know her exact age, but to us, witches are a long-lived race! She has seen many humans over a long period of time, and in the process, she may have dated various men or women. However, through David, she felt the pure, innocent, and heartwarming emotions of a girl she had forgotten! Whenever she thinks of David, she blushes in a way that even she can't believe! Her mind was filled with the countless images of David she had seen during her adventures! That is why she couldn't concentrate on her work, even while serving as a librarian! Of course, she wasn't exactly hardworking to begin with, but she looked just like a girl in love, to the point where everyone around her could tell! She must have even researched and created a love potion in case David rejected her! Of course, the time she would ever have to use it will never come, haha! It was such a fun task to depict their yearning for pure love! Thank you for watching!
