When he got himself mutated I genuinely cried when this episode aired because he just wanted to help but at the same time he caused his own mutation into a disgusting slime. It broke my heart for real. Granted other facts led to his unfortunate fate as well.

As with Leatherhead, the writers for this show decided to take the character of Mutagen Man and make him a tragic character, and it just works so well. I feel so bad for Tim. He was wearing gloves the entire time, hence him not touching anything.
