Apple App Store (Patreon)

This is a public message to all of my current Patreon members and any possible future member.

Apple will be charging any new memberships an extra 30% if you pledge through their app store. So, I recommend pledging through the PC if you're an iPhone use. Once you do that, then you can watch videos through the app.

From November 2024 onward, you won't be able to pledge via the app store on my Patreon until I switch to subscription memberships sometime in 2025, anyway.

Thanks!

Appreciate the update

I want to be mad, but with Apple I’m not surprised. Good thing I already pledged through my PC

So would I just cancel my membership on my phone then set up in my computer?

If you're already a member, I don't think it'll impact you. I believe the 30% upcharge is for new pledges. If you unpledge then come back I think you would need to go through the PC since it'll be considered a new pledge. 🤔

So, doesn't impact people already pledged aye?

I don't think so, but if you unpledge and come back, it'll charge the 30% on the app store.
