They did all evolve, I'm saying Nemus didn't devolve after he lost, he evolved to Saint Nemus and is still Saint Nemus. Cause you asked at the end.

In case your wondering the six legendary heros are dead and original six heros are said to take their place when they die so that’s why they weren’t choosn that’s also another reason why Skyress said goodbye to Shun because eventually she’d have to leave him again and didn’t want to have the pain of him being sad

The Six Legendary Soldiers can leave that area they usually are seen in at any point and time they just spend most of their time there watching over the planet S1 originally said they can’t leave the vestrioa at all but S2 kinda red-con it so now they can leave whenever they want and go to Earth like Applonior did to help Dan. Bakugan has a huge issue with inconsistency sometimes that’s common among Gen 2 and Gen 3 as well lol

I find it funny how the legendary warriors agreed to the battle after clearly stating they weren't there to do so...
