The intro changed again starting from episode 15. It also changes again slightly after episode 21.

In case your wondering Karais Snake Form works like the Hulk essentially she managed to control her mutantion and use it effectively now. But to answer your question she can’t bring it out unless she’s angry or serious

Also Splinter basically paralyzed his lungs when he did that super move against him in episode 14 that’s why he’s weak and having trouble breathing. Of course they aren’t gonna say what he did because it’s a kid show still but essentially that’s what happened.

U forgot to checkout the new intro

Shinigami is an original character made for this series, but most versions of the Foot Clan have a sect of magic users called Foot Mystics. So I'm pretty sure that was the inspiration for her.

City at War is a legendary story arc from the original comics. A 13-issue saga that marked the end of the first run of the series. After the Turtles killed the Shredder for the second time, they burned his body so he couldn't be resurrected again. With their master gone for good, the New York branch of the Foot Clan split into three factions lead by the Shredder's Elite Guard, the Foot Scientists and the Foot Accountants and turned Manhattan into a warzone. It got so bad that they had form an alliance with the Tokyo Branch of the Foot Clan just to get the situation under control. Plus there were a bunch of fascinating subplots. April left New York after her dad died and moved to California to live with her sister. Casey got married and had a daughter named Shadow. Splinter got trapped underground for six months and went on a spiritual journey with the Rat King. It's the stuff of legends.

Oops. I already recorded the next two episodes, too. I'll check it out during the episode 19 reaction.

Ah, so she doesn't have full control over it. Got it. Thank you. I was wondering about that.

That's pretty cool and fitting. Mysticism being a part of that world to begin with and all. Very nice. Shini is pretty badass, too.

That sounds like a chaotic yet fun time. I'm sure it was pretty dark, too, right? Since the mirage comics tended to be. I wouldn't mind reading it if I ever find the time. XD

It was the finale of the first run of the series, they had to go big.

That's what's so great about TMNT, it can accommodate both sci-fi and fantasy.
