Alopex is an original character made for the IDW comic series. As far as I know, she's the only IDW original character to receive an animated adaptation. Gotta say, it took balls for them to kill off Splinter like that. And even more not to bring him back in the next Season.

The EPF/Alien Defense Force in Episode 23 aren’t from New York they transferred over here due to the activity in New York and people spreading rumors about aliens is getting out so they aren’t familiar with Mutants they think all Mutants are just more Aliens
