Season 2 starts now, and both episodes were fun, but Episode 1 takes the cake for me.What did you think of these 2 episodes?

Fun Fact: It’s heavily theorized, but unfortunately never confirmed, that Gwen’s and Kevin’s redesigns from the first episode and this episode is a result of Ben restarting the universe.

KEVIN AND GWEN RETURN One of my favorites parts of the episode is how well Gwen and Kevin get along with Rook, he synergizes SO WELL with the UAF trio

Another example of the creative team being major pop culture buffs. Magister Patelliday's voice and mannerisms are heavily inspired by Don Knotts' character Barney Fife from the Andy Griffith Show. Find a clip on YouTube and you'll see what I mean. Also, if I were Ben, I would've used XLR8 to swipe Kevin's Driver's License and then report his car as stolen. A few nights in jail and his precious car getting impounded seems like a fair punishment for that stunt he pulled. Also, I wasn't sure at first, so I looked it up. You'll be happy to know that Fasttrack never makes an appearance in Omniverse.

I think I mentioned he sounded like him back when we were first introduced to him. I know exactly who you're talking about. ;) Yeah, that was ridiculous on Kevin's part. Funny but messed up. 🤣 Believe it or not, I enjoyed Fastrrack but I admit, XLR8 is cooler. ;)

True. We barely see him use the time powers. Last time I remember him doing it was to see how Dr. Animo did what he did in the farm episode.

I agree on it being part of the reset and influenced by Ben's perception. Kevin doesn't look much different from episode 1. Stripes on the shirt and mayhe some facial stuble. I might be missing something though.

You might have mentioned that, but if you did, I missed it. I'd like to think Gwen punished him for it off screen. You know what, I think it was Chainsaw Reacts who hates Fasttrack. He's reacting to Omniverse too, so I got you guys mixed up.

A lot of people don’t like Gwen’s design, but I actually don’t mind it. Like everything else in this show, it’s fresh and sleek, yet brings back OS themes. Captain Kork’s species and home planet are listed as unknown, but I don’t see why he can’t be headcanoned as a Chimera Sui Generis (Vilgax’s species). He does look very similar. His ship bottling is also very similar to how Blackbeard bottled ships in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Love seeing more OS aliens like Ripjaws, his design is very good in this. The Xylene reference was also much appreciated. Final fun fact: that Krakken creature Ben fought in the caverns? That’s actually the same species as the Krakken creature that inhabited the lake that Ben, Gwen, and Max visited in 1x3 of OS, “The Krakken”.

I might have thought it to myself but who knows. Its a nice detail either way. I hope something happened to him for it. 🤣 🤣 That's totally fair. Both have beards. Lol.

It was so great seeing Gwen and Kevin again. And yes, Im 100% blaming Kevin for this whole situation.

It’s great seeing Rook connect with Gwen and Kevin and it makes sense. Booth rook and gwen loves human history and booth rook and kevin loves vehicles

Also Looma looks so much younger in the flashback but for Kevin it was probably 3-4 human years at least. So its clear alien age difference but how much is the question BTW. Ben was 16 in this episode and in a later episode Max Points out he’ll turn 17 this year. So ben is still 16 but soon 17 in omniverse

It was nice seeing Max enjoying his relaxing time with his grandson, new plumber member and a plumber partner from his youth.

I think Crasshopper is supposed to be Wildvines Replacement if I’m being honest he hasn’t really shown up since OG so that’s personally my theory

I can’t wait for Episode 3 it’s one of my favorites because of a “Certain Alien” I teased and the comedy is so hilarious in the whole episode your gonna love it XD
