Bradin Stories

you should be able to watch the intro on the season 2 finale because its just shows the aliens you have seen and doesn't have any spoilers in it

Winterflower13

I loved seeing foreshadowing for Big chill and I loved bens character in this episode, even though its a lesson he has learned before, that being a hero is about doing the right thing and not for fame but in his defense no one learns anything just once, repetition is needed for it to stay. And him talking to the kid at the end and not even being mad at him was a good moment

Winterflower13

Funny thing when the first time looked at the psycholeopterran he saw himself being the universe greatest hero which legitimately became. After the highbreed war there was literally no planet who didnt know about him and the fact his desire is to be more famous says alot. Like what is his goal, what level of fame is needed for him to be satisfied but to be fair there are people who never gets satisfied. Once they reach their goal they wanna achieve the same goal just on a higher scale

Winterflower13

I loved seeing Rocks home world and even though made some dumb accidents like blowing up a years supply of the harvest he never had any bad intentions, but I like seeing more of Rook and how his uprbrining was. He clearly comes from a race that takes great pride in their heritage and culture and fear other cultures will tarnish their way of life but with Rook ill think they learn to be better soon

I agree, the way this series utilizes the flashbacks makes for more complex storytelling. I also love how it explores aspects of the Ben 10 lore that were previously only 'flavor-text'. I don't know if you caught it, but it was mentioned the founders of Bellwood were from Lapland. Lapland is a region of Finland. I find that awesome. Granted, my knowledge of Finland is limited it, but one thing I do know is that "The Kalevala", the national epic of Finland, was one of the stories that inspired Tolkien to become a fantasy writer.

The Forever King was in UAF, he’s Driscoll. We simply see him as the leader of his faction, the bald one. Check the episode where all the Forever Knight leaders meet up. I love seeing the old grey suit Earth plumbers in the Mt. Rushmore base. Bit of a lore explanation: there were technically two different plumber organizations. One was the US-based Men in Black style organization that Max was a part of, and the other one was the intergalactic law enforcement organization comprised of different aliens. Over time the two organizations have merged together into one thing, which has been fully realized in Omniverse. Ben was both shocked to the point of fear at seeing Malware once more, and very quick to say he’d kill him. Clearly shit went down back in the day. I honestly kinda love Fistrick, he’s such a colorful and lively villain lol. He’s essentially in the same boat as Kevin: human who got in good with the alien underworld and now fully involved in the field. The edgy anime-style posters of “Ben” that Little One had are actually what he’s supposed to look like in that show (he only had a radio, not a TV to watch it). Keep that show and design in the back of your mind, along with the ever elusive Mr Smoothie’s 23.

Anriku

Do they show him taking the suit off? Someone else told me this in discord and I dont remember him revealing that. Lol. The wiki says it too. That's pretty cool that the Earth Plumbers got recognized and merged with them. I was wondering why he was acting like he killed him.

Winterflower13

Oh and that ben rip off radio-show him and young one listened too. It will return in a future episode. And no its not albedo

KrakenKing

They don’t show Driscoll taking the suit off, but we do see his face on his plumber profile when Max is in the Mt. Rushmore base and matches Driscoll’s voice with the Forever King’s to figure out his identity during the Negative 10 finale. I also forgot to mention this, but that big golden B tower is actually relevant. It’s owned by someone who sucks. 😂

Anriku

Let me guess... Harangue? 🤣

KrakenKing

No, otherwise I’d have told you 🙃

Anriku

🤣 🤣 fair enough. Can't wait to find out.

Justice League Unlimited

One thing I loved about Ben and Malware meeting in present day, you can hear the fear in Ben's voice. Especially when he tries to warn Malware, you can hear a bit of voice crack. And even after Malware ran from the truck, you can see Ben trying to catch his breathe. And how seriously locked in Ben got towards Malware.

farhan

One of my favorite things here is just how afraid Ben is of Malware when he meets him in present day. Ben has literally faced down universe level threats so makes you wonder what else happened with Malware in this past

Anriku

I don't think Ben 100% knows what he wants.

Anriku

The worldbuilding has been on point in Omniverse. It was nice visiting Rook's home. I agree.

Anriku

I didn't notice that, no. My knowledge is very limited on that subject to the point of non-existent. XD I'm digging the use of flashbacks. I hope that continues.

Anriku

Good to know. I look forward to seeing it.

Anriku

It was such a nice detail and foreshadowing for what we learn later. Love it.

Anriku

Exactly. It's such a nice touch.

Arkham Asylum 22

10:42 He was, just in civillian form as Driscoll
