The Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger finale is here… and I LOVED it! I was seriously holding back tears, man. Let me know your thoughts on these two episodes and feel free to share anything else you'd like.

Thanks for joining me on this incredible journey through Kyoryuger.

Now, onward to the movie: 100 Years After!

If you want to know about Deboss' creator, it's in Kyoryuger vs Toqger. As for Candelira and Luckiero, though they are created by Deboss from his own cells, they are still separate entities from him, their existence is not tied to him. The only monsters we saw disappearing in the last episode were monsters resurrected from the darkness of the land, this they were connected to it, so when it got destroyed, so did they. But Candelira and Luckiero have never died so they're okay.

Fantastic series. Easy 8.5-9/10. If I had to rank the main 8(alive ones) 1. Ian 2. Torin 3. Amy 4. Daigo 5. Yayoi 6. Utchy 7. Souji 8. Nobu (Utchy and Souji are interchangeable cause I can’t decide who I like more) ALSO. I didn’t know about this until I finished the series myself but Kyoryuger does have a VS. movie with the ToQgers. That’s where Deboss’ creator appears

So, with this over are you going to react to another sentai while continuing King-Ohger. If you are do you have one in mid you want to see, or if you want you can say somethings about a sentai you want to watch (like dinosaurs, animals, vehicle zords and other things) and I or other people can give you a sentai that goes along with what you said

Character rankings for me: 1. Utchy 2. Daigo 3. Amy 4. Torin 5. Souji 6. Yayoi 7. Ramirez/Tessai 8. Ian 9. Nobu To be clear, I like them all. my favorite 3 things about this series: 1. Their commitment to the henshin. It’s silly and ridiculous in certain scenes in the show, but I give props to the show for keeping it consistent, and I grew to love it in time. 2. I have forgotten how good the show’s pacing is. Something was often happening, and the story never felt like it dragged along at any point. 3. Souji learning Torinity Strazor. So often did they reserve that kind of thing for the Red Ranger, even in sentai. But I’m glad they spread out cool moments to all the characters and that passing of the blade with Souji was really awesome. HM: Utchy’s final scenes with Dogold

The King-Ohger crossover is episodes 32 and 33. There's also a special director's cut of the crossover that contains more scenes than the broadcast version. I'd recommend watching the director's cut version.

Technically it extends to Ep 34

My fav character is Daigo from beginning to end , they did another movie with sentai Toqger where they fight Deboss creator you can go ahead and watch I don’t think it’ll spoil that season for you , coz in my case that’s how I get interested in watching Toqger after watching the crossover

Aside from the GOAT, that is, Utchy, I actually rank Ian up high as one of my favourite kyoryuger personalities. Being the solo gunman at the start of the series and the last to reveal his identity to the team and only trusting himself/doing things his way, he went through the biggest change in trusting others and working as a team. So much more to say about Ian but you get the gist Also, one of the biggest full circle was having the theme song being Earth's true melody. Right under our noses the whole time! XD It's not only a song about the Kyoryugers, but it's a song that can only be sung, and amplified, when the FULL team is assembled (which has never been done in the history of the Kyoryugers prior) Lastly, i think all the "extras" civillians that were cheering at the end were cameos by the voice actors of the non-human characters and staff/crew of the production. A nice nod to behind the scenes ppl!

Well said bro. I definitely want to do a tier lists someday. Ian is definitely awesome. Thats also a nice nod to the staff. I love that.

Anriku

Appreciate the info! Ill look into it and see if its okay to watch. If not, I guess I'll have to watch Toqger sooner rather than later. Lol

Anriku

Thats fair. I agree with a lot of what you said. I dont have a lot of experience to go off with Super Sentai, so I wonder if my opinion wil change over time. 🤔

Anriku

Great list, Jay. I fully agree on the pacing. I didn't find myself bored at all. I think the pacing also helped to hide any possible flaws the series might have.

Anriku

I plan to finish King-Ohger first before picking up another Super Sentai. Not too sure which one will be next. Thats up to all of you once I make those posts. I'm going to be focusing on either Build or W before I jump into another SS. I have plans. ;)

Anriku

Is it safe to watch that movie without watching Toqger? I see we have some Ian fans here. Great choice.

Anriku

Appreciate your help. I'll keep that in mind. If I can watch it without getting spoiled on Toqger, I might react to it.

Unfortunately I wouldn’t know cause I’ve yet to see ToQger myself but considering it takes place right in the middle of that series, I doubt it

Jay Anderson

The Kyoryuger/Toqger movie definitely spoils a midseason reveal in Toqger. Still worth watching anyway and seeing the reveal early may help you understand that series better from the start.

Oh damn, like I thought. Definitely not watching cause I plan to check it out after Kiramager
