Episode 3 imo, it’s not really anything spoilery at all considering the name of the arc, and it’s the only real stylized opening variant.

How did Darkstar manage to form an entire cult, members, statue, rituals, and room underneath the school without anyones notice?

Seeing the Circus Freaks make a return after so long was great, and Zombozo being back on his classic antics made for such a fun episode. This whole season has this sort of very shadowy, green and purple lighting aesthetic, it’s great. We’re gonna bring seeing a lot more “galactic monsters” for this season: Eye Guy, Toepick, Frankenstrike, Jury Rigg, etc. Some of the absolute best transformations imo. The Scooby Doo inspired episode was so good. DJW was experienced in both mediums, and so gave us the best of both worlds. I love how stylized Darkstar is here, very cool looking. Also, notice how two of his followers, the girls with purple and pink hair, look like Raven and Jinx? That’s intentional, DJW originally worked on Teen Titans as well. The green shackles and chains on Ghostfreak are actually a new safeguard placed by the Omnitrix in order to keep the Ectonurite DNA from escaping like it originally did, as we even the smallest cells are still sentient, hence why Ghostfreak escaped in the first place. It also helps keep his outer skin on, like he had in OS, which restricts his full abilities and form, but protects him from sunlight. You can even see how his actual skull is upside down underneath the skin when he gets shocked. Charmcaster’s design here is essentially just her OS design.

By way same way snareo used to be called ben munmy ben eolf also got renamed to blutzwolfer Teenage ben off screen renamed the horor aliens fue to how dinplr their name was in classic Frankenstrikes original name was benviktor in classic aswell all the horror aliens in classic had ben in the name but all got changed by trenage ben

You got it right lol.. As far as I'm concerned, Those who came with the omniverse artstyle have worked on one of scooby doo's serieses.. that's why there are a lot of similarities

One thing I really like about this arc is that even some of the 'filler episodes' have sort of a Halloween vibe.

speaking of episode 8 i don't know if this is a spoiler but this season has 2 finales with episode 8 being the finale of galactic monsters story and then a 2 part finale of the season as a whole which officially starts the next big overarching story for the next half of omniverse
