I think combustion man was just upset at being beaten by them multiple times. So he wasn’t listening to zuko at all when zuko said to stop due to pure anger

Badger moles live throughout the earth kingdom. Not just in the cave of 2 lovers. Also it’s interesting that the original benders for every element is an animal except water bending. They said that the first water benders learned by watching how the moon pushed and pulled the tides. So the moon is the original water bender

30:53 writers were using the real marchall arts as a bending styles, and tophs earthbending is a different marchall art from every other earthbender in the show because badgermoles taught her

Oh yeah, I caught onto that back in Book 1! Really cool how they pulled from real martial arts to shape the lore. Makes perfect sense Toph would have her own style too.

Aang saying he never plays the Avatar card to the Sun Warriors lol aside from a few fire nation spots, he mentions it to EVERYONE Also the Sun Warriors chanting is actually the same song for the end credits of an episode.

I dont know if this is true, but i heard that writers said he didnt stop attacking cause he believed Fire Lord Ozai would pay him much more than Zuko would have for killing Avatar.
