Time for a double episode reaction to my least favorite Super Sentai so far. It’s not that I dislike it, but I’m really hoping the story starts to come together soon. That said, the developments with Rei in Episode 29 have me feeling more optimistic for what’s ahead!

Drop your thoughts below and enjoy the reaction!

Maskedman

ring update red wolf=Donbrothers, Jetman, Timeforce, Operation Overdrive, Samurai, Lightspeed Rescue, Beast Morphers, Flashman, Lupinranger, Patranger, Gorenger, Battle Fever, Zeo, Dino Thunder, Turbo blue lion=Sun Vulcan, Zyuohger, Wildforce yellow T-Rex=none green eagle=Dino Charge, Kiramager, Bioman black unicorn=Dino Fury, Lost Galaxy, RPM, In Space white polar=Jungle Fury, Super Megaforce, Mighty Morphin, Boonboomger, Ninja Storm, ToQger ring hunter=JAKQ, Megaforce, Denziman, Liveman, Google-V, Turboranger, Fiveman, Ninja Steel red wolf friend=King-Ohger grey eye man=Mystic Force, Zenkaiger (There are seven rings in the unknown group. The intro to episode 29 showed their movie happened in-between these two episodes. I gave yellow's Sentai rings to red even though it is unknown. Here is an explanation for the two Zenkaiger suits (and yes, it is an anniversary series) rainbow suit=the one in the Zenkaiger season black and white suit=the Zenkaiger suit we briefly see in the season after Zenkaiger finally, I believe Ryugi will become yellow again someday)

Nocover

29 was really interesting, two big developments with Calamity being alive and some Kamen Rider Legend looking guy getting Tyranno 😭 I haven’t seen Zenkaiger so I have no idea what the context is but that Black Zenkaiser suit is from that (idk if Maskedman already said something about it, comment section is glitched for me rn..)

Progrise16

Zenkaiser Black is from Donbrothers. It's never explained who he is. You should watch Zenkaiger before Donbrothers.

the gozyuger rings being transported randomly after a gozyuger is defeated is interesting when you remember how kinjiro/joji randomly found his eagle ring on a tree. also it is possible that bouquet didn't figure out rikuo is gozyu leon but instead fell in love with gozyu leon due to being similar to rikuo instead. also ryugi leaving is a reference to past yellow rangers! 🦖💛

Zenkaiser is from Zenkaiger, an anniversary series. But "weird" things happen and the same actor and alternate version of his original character also appears in DonBrothers, where he henshins into Zenkaiser Black in DonBrothers. No real reason why Rei switches into that to. Zenkaiser was the leader/protag of Zenkaiger and the first ranger of that series, even though he wasn't Red (they reference that he's not a red as a running gag thru out the series). The creator of that series wanted a non-Red leader so his sentai would stand out from the others who would have all Red leader/protags.

Anriku

A non-Red leader sounds fun. I also like Zenkaiser's design. Might have to check it out sometime soon. So much to watch! XD

Anriku

Yeah, we need more clarification on why the yellow ring didn't stay with Hoeru after winning. Very interesting.

Anriku

LMAO! True, he does look more like a Rider character Wasn't even picking up on that. XD

Anriku

Interesting. I look forward to checking out Zenkaiger and Donbrothers.
