Thunder & Lightning are on the scene! I can’t help but wonder what Slade’s real goal is here.

This is so sad now that Greg Cipes aka beast boy just got fired by Warner Bros ;-; respect for my Boi that has been in my childhood in this show and more for 20 years

This episode put me off with starfire. She was so petty because of beast boy. While yes she was justifiably angry at beast boy for the oil ballon prank, but it was an accident and while I’m ok with her being angry at him and not accepting the apology at the beginning, the longer it dragged on the worst it became. It came out as being annoyingly petty rather than justifiably angry But it was good for beast boy to learn his lesson and pass it on to the brothers of nature

If you could control (sky related elements, which would you choose?) The alternative are Lightning, thunder, wind, rain, snow) I prefer snow because i love the cold

Winterflower13

Thunder is one of my favorite characters Also the drum to make it rain, i think is supposed to be to represent Raijin, the Japanese thunder god with a drum who he plays to make thunder

Anriku

Either Lightning or Wind for me.

JD Dumas

For the longest time, I assumed that Thunder and Lightning were original characters made for this series, but it turns out that they were in the original Teen Titans comics. However, the OG versions were just meta-humans, these versions appear to be either gods or demigods.

Anriku

That's interesting. I figured they were original for this series, too. I think I prefer this version with them being literal manifestations.

Anriku

100% has to be the reference. it fits too well. great catch.

Anriku

Very unfortunate. :( I wish him the best with his medical condition. 🙏

JD Dumas

Agreed. This show took a lot of creative liberties, both for fun and out of necessity, and in several cases they were decided improvements.
