Lack of toy sales The show was good but they only cared about both ben ten and generator rex aslong it sold toys Unlike ben ten their not enough characters and forms to sell toys parents didnt want to buy several copies of rex just for new weapons and acessories

Generator Rex was a bit harder for a kid to dive into and follow, and I think that’s the reason. I touched on this earlier, at least now he is familiar with the two shows and now can make the comparison For me Ben 10 has the perfect elements for a kids’ show: its overall theme, and the main character can become tons of different aliens, more episodic and easier to digest... it’s much easier and more engaging for a child to grow attached to the show itself.

and yes Ben 10 was way easier to make profit from with toy sales and all. For all these reasons it became the bigger brand. So Ben 10 isn’t better —in many ways, Generator Rex was much better, but it wasn't in the right place at the right time, in my opinion.

Generator Rex didn’t sell toys like Ben 10 did, so the network didn’t care to keep it going. The show wad also generally very mature and gnarly for a cartoon on CN at the time, and kids didn’t get into it as much as they did with the kid who could turn into a bunch of aliens and fight bad guys.

Yeah. Seems geared more toward teenagers than kids, and they aren't going to get the same return with them as they would with kids. Makes sense. Shame, though.

Definitely man, the show had much more potential in it
