Basic was a lot of fun and gave Rex & Noah a fresh perspective while Plague really stood out by showing things from White Knight’s side. Makes me wonder if he’ll ever shift his stance down the line 👀

Basic was a really good episode imo because it shows us the training and experience of Providence and its soldiers. These are real people from all walks of life who are out there in the field handling events all over the planet, and I find like how Rex was actually humbled here. I’m glad that the show acknowledged that the huge evo in the cage was Weaver, I felt he was kind of a major evo to just not acknowledge after what happened with him. At least we know whether or not he survived the airstrike lol. The lava evo heavily reminds me of the brute enemy from the horror game Monstrum, near identical look and all. I wonder if that was intentional or coincidental. I think White Knight gets a little too much flak overall, considering who he is and all that he’s in charge of. He’s in charge of a multi-billion dollar military scientific organization spanning the entire globe which he has to manage from the top, he deals with local, continental, and global threats on a regular basis, and he understands that people really are in danger. He expects people to always be working because there quite literally is no time to waste in a lot of these situations. Plus, he’s the only non-compromised being on the entire planet. Even if he can go out and about, any time he does so is a risk that he may in some way be exposed, whether accidentally or intentionally by other parties. Between that and his importance as leader of Providence, I understand why he’d never leave his quarantine zone. I like how the hospital/virus evo gives another reason why Rex doesn’t cure every evo he sees. Aside from Rex himself having limited excess nanite capacity, some evos just genuinely aren’t curable. Their nanites are too corrupted or their anatomy too mutated for too long and it’s just irreversible. Rex’s friends in Hong Kong, for example. Usually the incurable evos have higher brain function though.

Yeah I get it with White Knight, but he’s still a dick 🤣 He needs to realize Rex is literally their ace and doesn’t have to play by his rules all the time. And I’m with you on Basic, really enjoyed that one too.

Basic is a fun episode while also reminding Rex that Providence isn't there to just watch him take down EVOs Plague is a favorite of mine because it gives us some context to White Knight and continues to show how scary this world is. I actually think you have 3 episodes left in the season and I believe they're all awesome 😀

You are right! Apparently the production order went a little screwy with an episode. I'm still looking forward to that reaction, let's just say the episode is not a cliché lol
