Easily one of the best episodes in this series, so far. I enjoyed how they connected Sumino's loss to how Rikuo would feel if he went through with ending Rie.

The action was good but I felt like they messed up some future potential and back peddled on some development. Sumino’s whole wish was to find the grey eyed man and rescue oto which has now been completed. Sweetcake’s revival seems like it ruined some potential character development for the Bridan. Additionally Bellum and Rei were the best villains in the show since they actually moved the plot forward and posed a true threat to all but I feel like their presence was so extremely limited and should have been extended but that’s more of a personal complaint rather than a major criticism than the previous two.

Yeah, like Sumino not doing anything but sparing Rei and holding back Bellum is actually insane. She should’ve been the one to separate them Agreed about the Sweet Cake thing too, like if they explained it as “he subconsciously just knocked her out instead of killing her while he was on Calamity side” it wouldn’t be as bad but no she’s just.. alive
