Stan's "burn the child" is actually the CENSORED / toned down version from the script... originally, Stan said "blind the child" but that was deemed too graphic, so it was changed into the "burn the child" line and that actually passed the censors lmao

One thing I never understood about this episode. With how insanely dedicated he is to his job, how did Poolcheck never notice that there was a merman living in his pool? Also, they mentioned briefly in the flashback that Mermando is from the Gulf of Mexico. That's why he speaks Spanish.
