The cat is out of the bag. Terra’s true allegiance is revealed, and it looks like she’s working with someone because she feels like she owes them. But is it really just a debt or does he have something else over her? Turning on her friends for that reason is rough.

Episode 11 was absolutely hilarious. I’m still cracking up over how ridiculous it got. I really hope we see Larry again in the future. XD

Great episodes.

Just to clarify, no, Terra wasn't working for Slade in her first episode, him recruiting her and training her to control her powers all happened off screen. As I mentioned before, Terra was a member of the Titans during the 80s run of the comics, but she's mostly remembered for her role in one specific story arc. "The Judas Contract". Yes, in the original comics, Terra was a double agent working for Slade / Deathstroke, but the circumstances were different. As I also mentioned before, the comic version of Terra was the younger sister of the superhero Geo-Force, and at the time was above suspicion. So, it was genuine surprise for comic readers in the 80s when she betrayed the team. What the readers didn't know is that the comic version of Terra was suffering from a number of psychological disorders, most noticeably narcissism and sadism. She viewed herself as superior to normal people and only became a superhero in the first place because... well, everyone expected her to because of who her brother was. The version of Terra is much more tragic and sympathetic. But again, do NOT look up the comic version of Terra or The Judas Contact... it's just wrong, sick and wrong!

Larry is an original character made for this episode, and a fan favorite I might add, but he's based on a character from the comics called Bat-Mite. Bat-Mite is a 5th Dimensional being, similar to the Superman villain Mr. Mxyzptlk, but more benevolent. Bat-Mite didn't think less of 3 Dimensional beings, in fact, he idolized Batman because of what he could do without any powers. He was always popping into Batman's dimension to watch him fight bad guys and would often try to help but would usually make things worse by accident. I'm guessing the writers weren't allowed to reference the 5th Dimension for legal reasons, so they made Larry from another universe instead.

Frostbyte442

Beast boy is limited to animals/creatures only even ones from different dimensions and planets.

Frostbyte442

I don’t how the guys would do it without Raven and Star. Starfire is strong enough to trade blows and hold her own against Wonder Woman. Raven is the more powerful out of the group and she’s makes people like scarlet witch look like a magician at a kids birthday party

Frostbyte442

Beast boy has the potential to beat slade. Has the power don’t know how to use it well. Also when he turns into an animals they aren’t normal animals strength. So when he’s a gorilla he’s 10x stronger than a normal gorilla.

Anriku

For sure but my point was this BB can't beat him. He isn't experienced enough yet.

Anriku

You know what? Idk how I didn't realize Larry is similar to Bat-Mite. XD I've been out of the comic book game for way too long. 😭

JD Dumas

You've had a lot on your mind lately. It's understandable how you'd miss something like that.

Anriku

Appreciate that man. This whole tooth situation has thrown me off a bit for sure

JD Dumas

You're welcome. I just hate that you have to wait a whole two weeks to get it fixed.

Anriku

Same man. Trying my best to keep it clean. Just hope the recovery is quick.

There was one subtle tell that Terra was working for Slade in the last episode with her, Titan Rising. At the end, her hair covered one eye just like how Slade’s mask only has one eye opening.

Anriku

I heard her can transform into Starro which is crazy to think about.

Anriku

Yeah. I won't be looking that up. I'd rather not see Slade doing those.... things. 🤢

Sometimes I hate comics.
