Kamen Rider Build is officially coming to a close soon, which means it’s time to line up the next Super Sentai to take its place.

For anyone newer here, I usually keep Tokusatsu and cartoons as separate lanes. I always try to have at least one currently airing Tokusatsu series and one non airing one on the channel. The non airing slot alternates between Kamen Rider and Super Sentai, and with Build wrapping up, it’s Sentai’s turn again.

I recently asked for suggestions on which Sentai to tackle next, and the options in this poll are made up of the ones I saw mentioned the most, along with a few that personally caught my interest while going through recommendations.

Vote for the Super Sentai you most want to see next. The winner will take over the Tokusatsu slot once Build is finished.

I thought you were going to watch the rest of Gozyuger after it airs anyway, even if it doesn't get the most votes here because you usually do 3 Tokusatsu at a time (the current rider, the current sentai and another one from one of them)

Personally I voted for DonBrothers, it's a crazy ride. I feel like Gokaiger will porbbaly win but I think that's a series better saved after you've seen a few more.

I personally think Gokaiger is a good starting point. It's an anniversary season done right, and it doesn't assume prior knowledge. I've used Gokaiger or Shinkenger to introduce Sentai to people for the first time

Yes, you don't need to have seen the previous seasons to enjoy it. But without those, all the references and camoes are going to go over your head and not mean as much. As well as a few jokes you will miss.

Personally I think Gokaiger is a terrible series for someone who hasn't seen pre-Gokaiger seasons since it spoils Jetman and Shinkenger among a couple others.

Like someone else said, Gokaiger is a terrible start up sentai series since, because it’s an anniversary season, it has so many cameos and guest stars from previous seasons with their own mini arcs and inside jokes that I feel if you don’t watch at least 10 other previous sentais, you can’t truly appreciate it, not to mention the spoilers. I voted Donbrothers since not only I like the storylines and the chaos of the characters, not to mention the interactions between the heroes and villains is one of the most interesting I’ve ever seen in a sentai, but you also don’t need to watch any of the previous seasons for it. If you can get past the CGI for the ranger suits, it’s an amazing season
