The final 4 episodes of Spectacular Spider-Man are here and man... I want Season 3! So much potential for more greatness. This was a fun ride while it lasted. Thanks for coming along. Batman: The Brave and the Bold is up next!

The Valentine’s Day Massacre was a real world event carried out by Al Capone during the early days of his criminal career. Silvermane is such an underrated Magia villain who often gets neglected in Spidey stories now, but his exoskeleton more than makes up for his age and packs quite the punch. Insomniac’s Spider-Man game had a Magia DLC, but they did th cybernetics with Hammerhead instead of Silvermane for some reason. Also kinda nice to see Flash begin warming up to Peter more, makes me wish we could have seen them be good friends again in their college years. Molten Man, another underrated villain, and with a tragic twist this time. He said he “paid in gold” because the nanites actually make his thermal skin metal with a golden color (you can hear the clanging when he hits his chest), the fire just makes him look orange. Wish we could have seen the Sandman/Hydro-Man/Molten Man trio in another season. Norman was on the phone with Mac Gargan (Scorpion)! Fantastic finale, the Goblin twist was just insane and cements Norman Osborn as just the worst person of all time. This show, along with Marvel’s other shows at the time, were robbed of further greatness by Disney, and it will forever make me angry. No Miles Warren/Jackal clone saga was so disappointing.

Good reaction! Is Star wars coming somewhere in the near future?

KrakenKing

It will likely be in the next poll and will probably be the winner, given that it came in second place.

The sad thing is, there already was a chance for a revival. See, Spectacular Spider-Man originally aired on Kids WB, this was during the waning days of the Saturday Morning Cartoon Blocks. Anyway, they passed on renewing it for a 3rd Season, but when Disney bought Marvel, the Disney Execs were open to bringing Greg Weisman and his team back for more seasons. But when the reruns for Seasons 1 and 2 didn't generate the desired ratings on Disney XD, they withdrew their offer. Which sucks, but what can you do?

It’s amazing how they managed to keep the twist about Green Goblin identity until it was revealed at the end ! And really too bad we don't get a season 3, I will neveu healed from it’s lost

Not caught up yet. But this show was a treat, too bad we don't get series like these anymore. Also Josh Keaton has to be my favorite Spiderman VA up there with Yuri Lowenthal in the Insomniac Spiderman games. Hoping you explore more Spider-Man series in the future.

CRy0

Disney just fumbled with this series, honestly.

Anriku

For real man. We should have gotten a S3. I'm down to check out other Spider-man for sure.

Anriku

Agreed. Loved that twist. Didn't see it coming. S3 RiP.

Anriku

Damn. Unfortunate. :(

Anriku

On the next poll for sure.

Anriku

You know what? I knew the VDM sounded familiar. Appreciate the refresher. I definitely want to play those Spiderman games and maybe stream it. Norman truly is a piece of shit. XD and it sucks we didn't get a S3.

Season 2 ends on an all time high! Norman solidifies himself as one of the worst dads in cartoon history. I’m still upset to this day that the show was cancelled because Disney and Sony couldn’t reach an agreement.
