This just might be my favorite episode of Season 2 so far. Blue Beetle is always a vibe, and I’m really enjoying the development he’s getting. And anytime we get more Green Lantern shine, you already know I’m here for it.

Drop your thoughts below and enjoy the ride!

Getting closer to the best episode of the show, I’m so excited to see what you think

Anriku

Ooo. I wonder which one it'll be.

Anriku

Its not the next episode is it? I enjoyed that one but it was more of a fun side episode imo.

RWBYReactVerse

No, it’s a bit later into the season, after episode 10, won’t say how later

Anriku

Sounds good. I look forward to it.

Fun fact, in Jaimes first comic run as the blue beetle, guy Gardner actually fought him due to a misunderstanding. That comic series was the first one to really go in-depth with all the blue beetle lore that we see here so it’s nice we got guy in this story too.

The Challengers are awesome and criminally underrepresented in the modern DC Comics. Four strangers, US Airforce Pilot Ace Morgan, daredevil Red Ryan, pro athlete Rocky Davis and scientist Prof. Walter Haley, are the sole survivors of a devastating commercial airline crash. After bonding over their shared survivor's guilt, these four men decide that the only way to honor the memory of those who died is to make their own lives count. So, they band together and vow to explore where no one has gone before, to solve the problems no one else can and protect the innocent wherever they are. I don't know about you, but I'd watch the hell out of that movie.

I agree, the Challengers are amazing, the best of sci-fi exploration genre, up there with Jonny Quest. Their backstory is also incredibly real and impactful, which I like a lot. Now I’m gonna go rewatch Jonny Quest for the tenth time lol.
