To answer your question, technically both pronunciations of his name are correct. Razz is the Arabic pronunciation, while Raish is the Hebrew. They're interchangeable. Though personally, I've always preferred Raish, as that's how it was pronounced in Btas.

The killer plant ray is a little goofier than what Ra's usually gets up to, but I still think it fits in well with the vibe of the show.

I had a feeling because I think in Arrow they pronounced it both ways. Raish definitely sounds cooler.

And he lived so long that he ended up choosing to be British. 😭 I also love how his BTAS design and his TBATB design are nearly identical, from the hair to the cape to the suit.

Usually. Although on paper, his Tower of Babel scheme was a little silly. Not the stealing the Aggamemno Contingencies part, but the actual plot of making everyone sound like they were speaking gibberish.

I need to react to BTAS. That was the series that I saw here and there growing up since it aired in 92-95, I was a young kid around that time, so only watched when I could catch it.

It’s the foundation of the entire future DCAU and one of my personal favorite shows of all time. I can give you the proper production watch order to hold onto for the future, given how it was aired completely out of order back in 1992 and HBO continues to keep it out of order.
