It's time for some General Grievous action! I'm really curious to see if he's gone completely rogue or if he's just done taking orders from Dooku. Either way, the dude clearly isn't interested in answering to Dooku right now. 😂

Drop your thoughts below and enjoy the ride!

- The red celestial body is not actually a planet, but rather the Abregado System’s red dwarf star, Anza. - Master Plo Koon is an extremely cool Jedi who really got his time to shine in this series. He is a Kel Dor from the planet Dorin and it should be noted that the fixtures on his head are NOT part of his face. Rather, they are a pair of goggles and a respiratory mask, as most atmospheres are poisonous to Koon’s species. - Plo Koon is the commanding general of the 104th Battalion, as known as the “Wolf Pack Battalion”, often going under the codename “Wolf Leader” amongst his troops. The Commander of the battalion is Commander Wolffe, who is often at the side of Plo Koon. A notable squad in the 104th is the “Wolf Pack”, who were the individuals accompanying Koon in the life pod. - Following the Malevolence Campaign, the 104th lost most of their numbers and will now be reorganized into a smaller battalion force, not part of any higher corps, while they regain numbers, specializing in rescue, aid, and support operations. While originally wearing armor wight maroon markings (as seen in the first part), 104th troopers will now begin to don their armor with more extravagant blue-grey markings, both to honor their fallen and to better match the “Wolf” motif. Commander Wolffe will be very easy to spot, being almost all grey and with jaws painted in his helmet. - General Grievous is NOT a droid. He was originally a Kaleesh warlord who harbored a deeply-set grudge against the Jedi for numerous reasons. In order to fight them, he gave up some of his humanity and, in an agreement with Count Dooku, underwent numerous surgeries to become a cyborg warrior. While not force-sensitive, the new cyborg form made up for Grievous’ durability and reaction speed, only further advanced by Dooku training him personally in lightsaber combat. He has killed many Jedi since. This is also why Grievous’ eyes are still organic and why he coughs so much, as his organs (held within his torso) are constantly under strain from his cybernetics, particularly his lungs. Obi-Wan killed him in ROTS by blasting his exposed organs.

If I recall correctly, isn't the atmosphere on Plo Koon's homeworld like pure helium.

Anriku

Ah ok. I always wondered why he had skin under his mask. I knew he wasn't force sensitive so assumed he was a Droid.

Fun Fact: Darth Plagueis, Palpatine's old master, the guy who learned how to control life and death, was also a member of the Banking Clan. He basically bankrolled Palpatine's political career and helped him cook up this whole elaborate decades long plot to take over the galaxy. Until Palpatine murdered him some time after Phantom Meance.

Anriku

In his sleep iirc. I didn't know he was a member of the Banking Clan but that makes a lot of sense.

KrakenKing

Yeah he was a Muun. The Muun created and dominated the ranks of the Banking Clan and its comprising subsidiaries, at least until the time of the Empire. You’ll see some in the Galactic Senate representing the IGBC, although San Hill (IGBC Chairman and Separatist Council member) isn’t one of them.

His real name was Hego Damask II and in addition to the ways of the Force, he also taught Palpatine everything he knew about leading a double life.
