This has easily been my favorite match of Season 3 so far! Desarm was an incredible opponent, the contrast between the Season 2 and Season 3 coaches added another layer to the story, and there were so many fantastic moments from start to finish. That said, I definitely don't want to take anything away from Toramaru's incredible moment in the previous match—it was just as memorable in its own way.

Since the moment you meet desarm i was witing for this. This is an AMAZING match. Are you doing the matches in double episodes? Nice idea. And now we wait for the BEST MATCH in the whole series. Now lets watch

I knew you were going to like this match the concept for it is so brilliant to have all of these old characters we know form a team to try to become representative after feeling the pain of not being chosen. Just amazing stuff.

The paralells in this match were absolutely fire too. like for instance: -Gungnir V2 broke through Fist of Justice G3 just like how in season 2 Desarm first broke through Fist of Justice with Gungnir. -Bakunetsu Storm melting away Drill Smasher just like in the match against Epsilon Kai -And finally the best one Inazuma Break V2 breaking True Infinite Wall. As if you remember in season 1 in the match when Kidou first joined Raimon they won using Inazuma Break to break The Infinite Wall. You even titled the episode ''INAZUMA BREAK WINS THE GAME'' on youtube which btw that could be a sick title when you get to this episode on youtube ''INAZUMA BREAK WINS THE GAME... AGAIN'''

And the callbacks to season 2 were just great: -All the techniques -Reize, Gran and Desarm all being in the same episode as the captains of 3 of the main aliea teams from season 2 -Libero Endou and Goalie Tachi being back -Hitomiko training Neo Japan just like how Aliea Academy used to train against each other -In the same vein Reize trying to be better than Desarm which again calls back to that too

So here is everyone on Neo Japan team and which team they were from: -Desarm from Epsilon -Genda from Teikoku(Goalie) -Kirigakure from Sengoku Igajima(Ninja team where Kazermaru first shined which now that I think about it that's a parallel too since Kazemaru achieved ''Dance of the Wind God'' here man this match is so good) -Arata from Mikage Sennou(Soccer Cyborg team and this is the guy that copied Fire Tornado) -Zel from Epsilon(the ''Kamehameha move'' guy that is basically a handball) -Demeter from Zeus(guy with the helmet who first did the ''Reflect Buster'' move you see at 30:18 except now Zel is doing it) -Tsutomu from Kidokawa Seishu(One of the triplets but not the one who was on the selection match) -Hera from Zeus(The guy who did the ''Divine Arrow'' move at 27:17 -Heat from Prominence and Chaos(The guy you thought looked familiar he was in the Chaos match and admittedly did not do much besides passing the ball) -Makiya from Senbayama(the defensive team from season 1 and one of the guys who did Infinite Wall as he is doing it here too) -Wheeze from Genesis(part of the Supernova and Space Penguins moves) -Yuukoku from Occult(one of the first matches where they did the hypnosis gimmic) -Jimon from Teikoku(one of the guys who did Double Cyclone) -Gouin from True Teikoku interestingly enough(we really didn't see him do anything there tho) -Zohan from Genesis(guy with the mask) -Narukami from Teikoku(the one with the purplish grey hair not sure we ever saw him do anything tho)

I also loved the chess match aspect of Kudou vs Hitomiko and also Neo Japan learning each other's techniques man this match is so good I can talk about it for literally hours but I will stop before I get too annoying with too much walls of text and end up writing a whole essay about it lol.

I think the reason they chose midorikawa is because he is the only midfielder out of all them, burn and gazelle are both forwards and desarm foward/goalkeeper (well now he's a midfielder but not before this). And Inazuma Japan has already many strikers Gouenji, fubuki, hiroto and toramaru (one of them is always on the bench or playing in the midfield) if there was another striker instead then there would be another striker on the bench while not having any reserve midfielders, now is akio the reserve midfielder thanks to midorikawa being here. Without midorikawa he would be in the field and they wouldnt have any reserves for him. At least this is what i think.

Dont forget to check the Hisatsu move's japanese text as for example the "G3" doesnt get shown in the subtitles
