The second battle of Geonosis is here, and we’re already off to a great start!

I thoroughly enjoyed both of these episodes, albeit for very different reasons. But for me, Episode 32 takes the cake! I’m excited to see what Episodes 33–35 have in store and where this story takes us next.

Drop your thoughts below, and as always, enjoy the ride!

Arkham Asylum 22

What's dumb is that the jedi and the republic knew that the banking clan worked for the separatists and yet they still got money off the Banking clan to pay for the war is crazy. Banking clan controls the entire banks in the galaxy. As well I love that Ki adi mubdi committed a war crime allowing his unit to use flamethrowers on the geonosians lol

Purple Guy Maxence

Yes indeed that’s was Waxer and Boil and they are still part of Cody's squad

I must confess, I do hold a bit of sympathy for Clovis. Yes, he was a traitor and a moneygrubbing sleazebag, but his feelings for Padme were genuine. He truly believed she felt the same way. And even after learning he'd been manipulated, he still put her life above his own. And frankly, I find your "He did it all for the nuki" comments to be both reductive and callous. With that said, I'm really looking forward to the next three episodes. The Second Battle of Geonosis is about to get very... interesting.

- Oh nah, Senator Lott Dod is for sure getting freaky with those droids. 😭 - I love how even though both the Trade Federation and the Banking Clan are members and key leaders of the CIS as a whole (the TF being the biggest contributor, in fact), the BC still has to screw over the TF and the other organizations in the name of money. 😂 - Poggle the Lesser is a Geonosian and the Archduke of the Stalgassin Hive, the largest and dominant hive on Geonosis and one of the CIS’ major manufacturing partners, making Poggle another key head of the Separatist Council. - Clovis having the position in the Banking Clan that he does is very impressive, given that its leadership and upper ranks were founded and dominated by the Muun, including its leader and elected senator. - Master Ki-Adi-Mundi is a Jedi Council member and a Cerean from the planet Cerea. He is one of the Jedi we see perish in the Order 66 scene in Episode 3. - Rex is distinguishable by his blue 501st paint, shoulder pauldron, and the eyes painted on his helmet. While he technically does have special command despite only being a captain, he would stand behind Cody, as Cody is both a battalion commander (head of the 212th Attack Battalion) and a clone marshal commander (head of the 7th Sky Corps), which is the highest rank a clone can achieve and therefore making Cody one of the highest ranking clones in the entire GAR. Cody and Rex’s chumminess and seemingly insubordinate equality is because their Jedi generals (Anakin and Obi-Wan) often collaborate together and because they’re the leaders of their respective smaller units, but at the end of the day, Cody vastly outranks Rex. - The amount of death in this first landing alone gives the first battle at the start of the war a run for its money. This show gets really brutal with all the closeup death shots and I feel bad for all the clones. - This marks the first time we see our protagonists fight and kill non-droid combatants in the show (I guess the network censorship said that the Geonosians are not human enough and allowed it). Naturally this has happened in the war already and we just haven’t seen it, but not often. The CIS army is comprised near entirely of droids and the planets comprising the CIS using their own forces to defend their planets is something else entirely. - Waxer and Boil making their reappearance, always nice to see. They’re part of the 212th Battalion under Cody

He did indeed have genuinely feelings…for the nooky. 😭

I gotta stay problematic at ALL costs.

Haha all good man, I'm just having fun with it! I get he had real feelings, but he was still out here risking his whole plan for his feelings. Plus, at the end of the day, I don't feel too bad for a traitor! Excited to dive into Geonosis with you guys.

Anriku

For real, man. :( Ki Adi is HIM! XD

Anriku

Love seeing Waxer again.

Lott Dod needs to be put on a watch list for so many reasons. 😭 Isn't Mundi the one that suggested Anakin is too old to be trained? Or, was that a different cone head? XD I took note of the living opponents this time around. I guess that makes the most sense. They weren't 'human' enough so they could be used. I'm down for it. XD

KrakenKing

No, Mundi simply said “The force is strong with him.” It was Mace Windu who said “He is too old, there is too much anger in him already.”
