A nice little lesson for our Jedi Padawan Ahsoka!

Sure, this episode didn’t have much to do with the larger war, but I really enjoy these side stories. So far, from what I can remember, they’ve all had a purpose... even when they don’t directly move the overarching plot forward.

And I really dug the Elder Jedi in this one. Dude was calm, cool, and completely collected… plus, he had a sick lightsaber!

Drop your thoughts below and enjoy the ride!

- The female bounty hunter at the beginning is named Aurra Sing. She had a brief cameo in Episode 1, watching the podrace on Tatooine. - Master Tera Sinube was a Cosian from the planet Cosia and was on the Jedi Council sometime before Episode 1. The Cosians were designed after the dinosaur species Iguanodon. The Cosians are also long lived with an average lifespan of 200, although master Sinube reached over 400 years by the time of his death at the hands of the Inquisitors. - In the original script, it was very much the intention to make the two women lovers. More than likely the pink one wanted out of her relationship with the gangster and needed help from the blue one. - Anakin telling Ahsoka that “this weapon is your life”, in reference to the lightsaber, comes from Obi-Wan telling Anakin this after recovering Anakin’s lightsaber while chasing Zam Wessell on Coruscant in Episode 2. Later in the same movie, when Anakin’s lightsaber is destroyed in the droid factory on Geonosis, Anakin says something akin to “My master is gonna kill me!”, which is exactly what Ahsoka says when she loses her lightsaber. - White lightsaber were originally red lightsabers which have been “cleansed”, so Master Sinube’s possession of one leaves much to interpretation. - ‘Lightsaber Lost’, much like ‘Bounty Hunters’ (an homage to ‘Seven Samurai’), is an homage to the 1949 Akira Kurosawa film, ‘Stray Dog’, in which a rookie Japanese police detective attempts to recover his stolen handgun with help form a veteran investigator.

Wasn't Zam Wessell the changling I was thinking about from Ep2? I remember him chasing a changling in one of those movies.

Yet another great episode I always forget about until I see it again.
