What another enjoyable episode of Tsukimichi! So many great moments and I cannot wait to learn about this new character. I also want to see Sofia! I wonder if Makoto can't level up or he is such a high level that it registers as level 1. LMAO!

Favorite episode so far, was hilarious and i'm starting to think he is level 1 because the type of power he has can't be measured. His source of all his power in from a god for one, but my doubts for that theory are from the people still seeing him have mana. I wonder how level is measured. Is it from Mana or something else. I'm not hopeful that will be answered but will be cool if it is.

I hope we find out too. I am going with it can't be measured since it's so much or he just cannot level up. Maybe him being powered up by Tsukiyomi or whatever broke him lol

This story is such a fun ride to watch animated. I read the LN years back, might have to go back reading when this season ends.

Just as Tomoe mentioned, the naming wasn't optimised in terms of power because those 2 preferred to be named naturally. Power is secondary to their relationship.

"Meta Commentary" in isekai anime always makes me chuckle, so having Makoto randomly spout off stuff like "compulsory events" and "conquest routes" for heroines definitely endears him more to me as an MC... makes me look forward to see what he'll say next! Lol

AlduicS

Sarcasm does not work on idiots, even if they are mythical dragons or disastrous giant spiers capable of great destruction... the more you know, isekai edition! XD

Isekai Trash I am, so I'll never get tired of the trope of "names make you stronger" that many fantasy series incorporate because it's just so fun to predict how being named could enhance/evolve a character close to the MC!

On the basis of "you don't know," the "valiant female samurai" that Makoto mentioned & named Shen after, was "Tomoe" Gozen, was first mentioned in 14th century Japanese literature, as she was involved in the conflict that brought about the first shogunate (though she has yet to be proven an actual historical figure & not someone made up in folk lore, but she's INCREDIBLY well known & influenced generations of samurai)

It is such a pleasant touch that the humans of this world speak with a weird tone to accentuate the fact it's a different language that Makoto was not given the power to freely understand, it is not a monster/demi-human language... the goddess continues to fuck with him, but hey, props to the studio for adding this touch to nail it home!

AlduicS

Personally, I do believe Makoto's stuck with "Level 1" permanently, or at least, for now thanks to interference by this world's ruling deity, who stripped away his "hero" title/status that he was supposed to be granted, which could have then bugged the level system to lock him out.... or maybe since he was born to isekai parents on Earth, it messed with it & glitched the system since it was not made to withstand otherworld conditions?

It definitely has to be something and I hope it gets explained. Maybe he needs to earn a new title by the world since he is title-less?

Makes a lot of sense since it is like giving them an identity and everyone needs one.
