Quick clarification: the sorcerer stated that the dragon appeared 50 years early, not that it was 50 years from the last attack. The apostles are like avatars/demigods/popes for their respective gods. It's like a pantheon, so the villagers worshipping her would be the same if a representative of Hades or Ares were to appear before them.

Rory is one of my favorite female characters in all of anime. From her design, role and personality, love it (:

She is amazing so far. Can't wait for more characterization for her.

Well, Well, Well... A (Not So) Well Elf Be Unconscious Not On A Shelf, But In A Well~ Lmao

Master Roshi was certainly channeled into Lelei's Master, that's for sure, though Roshi didn't have to endure a magic beating in response to his inappropriate comments! XD

Might I just say, much like Tsukimichi, GATE excels at the little details about visiting another world... such as how, unless it was an earned skill, it wouldn't be easy to learn a new language to communicate with locals overnight. Itami was shown to use a "basic phrases" handbook and could only speak in short sentences, he didn't even know their word for "dragon" so he called it a "large bird" instead to get the meaning across... stuff like this makes a show more believable for me, personally.

Let me be clear with 1000% honesty... I will gush about Rory Mercury for 20+ weeks straight (the amount of time it'll take to finish this series weekly) just because she's one of my all-time, absolute favorite female characters in anime... I mean, bloody hell, her design, VA, OST theme song, and her personality are just straight up attractive & enjoyable as fuck! GATE does not fuck around with the waifus, introducing someone as brutal & playful as Rory.

GATE, where Rory Mercury (The Reaper & Apostle Of Dark God Emloy) makes very, very suggestive & playful innuendoes towards our MC, a hardcore otaku and military man who doesn't help the situation by responding with very... "appropriate" requests like "Move, please!" and "this is a really tight fit" LMAO

One might say this Fire Dragon's just a "warm up fight" for when the JSDF gets serious and decides to tackle Godzilla, Japan's lifelong foe, head-on when they return! XD
