The 2nd episode sold it for me, though, I already enjoyed the first episode too. Curious to see if Violet will come to understand things and integrate into civilian life. I even teared up a couple times at the end there. LMAO!

Erica wants to continue being a doll because she wants to know more stories of ppl, learn ppls feelings in every situations so she could eventually create memorable characters and write good novels, not just generic things. For why ppl ask dolls to write instead of themselves, I assume not everyone knows how to write back then. And some ppl are rather bad at wording let along have their intentions come across nicely in serious or sensitive situations:) Glad you are continuing it and welcome to the tears club!
