Souma is victorious against Amidonia, but I wonder what will happen going forward. I'm sure the fleeing Prince and Princess won't sit idly by for too long.

The first 8 Episodes were Great, they took there Time, but if they really only make 13 EPisodes for this Season, and they start to Rush it now thx to that Weird Decision, its again running a Great Story against the Wall. The last 3 Episodes were already rather rushed compared to the first 8 Episodes. Like, Carla started to see that Souma, with what he was saying, isnt Breaking with his Body, but its Soumas Mind that Breaks apart due to the Massive Stress he has due to the Responsibility he himself blames himself ( like giving the Orders that led to the War and Death of People). Or when they actually went to Van, what they left out was that Souma ordered Ludwin, as the Captain of the Royal Guard and Oversees the Forbidden Army etc that they give out a Strict Order that Plundering, Rape etc is forbidden and gets punished with the Death Penalty. To make an Exemple, Souma gave Ludwin a Piece of Paper. When he Looked, there were 5 Names listed, and Ludwin asked Souma whats with the Names, and he answered they are a "Present" from Georg, that they are Names from Soldiers from the Army, who plundered at least 1 House in Randel, Duke Carmines City, and even raped the People in the House. He ordered that there Heads should hanged out over the Gates of Van as an Example, and when the Soldiers marched into Van, there were 5 Heads hanging with a Wooden Shield " Executed for attempted Plundering". Due to that the Soldiers didnt do anything even when some Citizens of Van threw Rocks at them. Another Thing is, the Citizens were so indoctrinated, the Princely House held every Year at New Year a Speach over the Jewel Voice Broadcast, and everyone had to attend. If someone wasnt there, he was charged for Treason against Amidonia, that included even the Sick and Old, who couldnt move, so they brought them with there Beds or on a Stretcher. When they heard that the Enemy King will use the Jewel Voice Broadcast, they did the Same again, but were a bit baffled when the Soldiers who watched over the Plaza, said to them they shouldnt overexert themself.

Yeah I greed with the rushing of the story but for me this has been the worst episode of the show it felt completely incoherent, this is proof that the possibility of a second season is low, hopefully I'm wrong.

I got to at least appreciate that this king at the end was not like others who continue even toward the end to say "why did I lose to this kid!!!" He saw that Souma was no joke at the end and admitted it

I really wish this show had at least 24 episodes because the whole Subjugation Arc has 2 more LN volumes to conclude. It's kinda weird that they're ending it this way when the issue with Amidonia as a whole is yet to be resolved. This definitely calls for another season, especially for those who only watch the anime.
