Honestly, I bet I'd react similarly to Kobayashi's "Oh, this must be a dream" and not immediately freak out if I opened my door to find a massive dragon just staring me down, face-to-face, because my survival instinct just isn't there... XD

Might not be ideal to introduce dragons to the Internet, our feeble existence could end sooner than later if they read one wrong comment or who knows, maybe we'll create otaku dragons or they'll discover mankind's greatest industry: sex work and the massive amount of variety and money it brings XD

Ah, it seems you might have missed out, but to answer your question of "how is Tohru calling these people," we saw she casted some sort of spell over the phone when she first called Fafnir to ask for advice (after Kobayashi taught her about the phone), so I'd assume it's something that lets her connect to people she knows, a communication type of magic through an object I suppose

Love it when Kyoto Animation alters the art style / animation for random dragon sequences like the tail eating, rain blasting, and other non-human acts... the higher quality scenes are such a delight, a nice touch by the (late) S1 director for his passion project

its in a way like Hinamatsuri,but the character developments and the precious moments are gold.dun focus on comedy.and u must not drop it,your opinion will be different after a few more episodes for sure tho
