I appreciate Yu even more as a character now. What a heavy and beautiful episode! Love the bond the student council members have!

PS. The webcam quality still isn't the best. I believe I need better lighting. Will be working on that! Thanks for your patience.

A little late to say this, but this is my favorite episode from both seasons, i loved how this was told so much.

It was executed so well. It's one of my faves too. Such an amazingly written episode.

I love all the little details in this also, if you paid attention through out the cheerleading arc with Ishigami, except for the other first year Ondera, all the other people from the Squad they didn't have their eyes being shown nor their mouths. It was like a symbolism of Yu not being able to see forward beyond his own past, as well as the a visualization of that haunting effect on him since faces with out eyes is a tad scary and ghost like. Then after the race we finally get the face reveal of all these characters like Yu is seeing the world for the first time again after the tragedy of the past. It's such a great episode and arc overall, and I always stated it's probably one of the most relatable moments for many people as well. Who hasn't been in a position whether in school or out of school, were you have to make the decision of do I get involved in this situation or stay out of it, do I do the right thing by getting involved possibly or do the wrong thing of not getting involved and avoid possible trouble for myself even by remaining neutral.

I did notice the absence of eyes and mouth. I loved that part of those episodes. Really fits Yu's headspace. I agree, it's a very relatable situation.
