I've to many anime/series(mostly anime though), so what used to be twists are obvious now. Kind of sucks. Already figured Tokiko was human and with shadows, at the festival she was tripping. Saying things like "I never knew it would turn out like this". Extremely huge hint. That sentence and reaction says 3 things. She betrayed them unintentionally to this extent(shes being used), she has an idea what is already happening(She is shocked from what results of she has done and not what is actually happening, and her reaction of the reaction of someone separate from shadows side being pulled in. So she is either human, or a ignorant shadow being used is what i was thinking. I need to share my theories more, because now it seems like BS lol. It was very clever hint, the reaction, circumstances and word choices really give a good picture of her situation back then.

Definitely a nice foreshadow, but also gives so much more context to that scene for her. It's so good. This show is such a darkhorse.
