The finale is here... such a bittersweet ending. Light had what was coming to him, but I feel bad for his family and the police he tricked. Near will go on to be one of the greatest detectives of all time in this series, huh?

So it is implied that Misa did end her life on Valentine's Day, one year after Light died. I did kinda feel for her since she lost her own family to murderers, and then losing her love, unaware of her even been Kira. Of course not to say she didn't deserve, especially after she went as far as killing a task force member, but still tragic. Light though I agree, no sympathy whatsoever. I did find it amusing how you were kinda cheering for Light in the beginning, and by the end was all, yeah kill that piece of s***.

Oh for sure. Misa is a tragic character. I agree. Honestly not sure when I made the shift from rooting to hating. Heck, it might have been a gradual shift for all I know, but if I had to choose a specific point I think it would be his father's death.
