Reoccuring characters are pretty neat and cool.. but planning them is not so easy, i'd say. So today i'm discussing the ideas I have with you and sharing it. I am also interested in YOUR feedback and ideas on that. So make sure to comment them down below.

BUT if you don't want to be spoiled on future audios, do not listen! :)

Much much love,

My thoughts are that it depends on your intention and direction! If you were to make a more story focused character where you develop a plot over 3 parts, it could be realistic and manageable. However, this would be more like a series. I have also seen some series like "Monster Girl Encyclopedia" where the creator makes an audio for every monster girl instead of making it one character focused. If you want to make a recurring character, it'd probably be closer to a Slice of Life show where it's episodic and more focused on the character interactions rather than driving a plot forward! This can also make the audios shorter too so they don't need to be as long. An example of a recurring character I've seen is an Older Girlfriend who does simple things in each audio like cuddling, letting you sleep on her lap, shoulder rubs, etc. From a creative standpoint my best advice to have "Established Relationship" already exist so you don't have to make a plot about how the listener and the speaker meet! They just are already friends or partners and they just interact naturally with each other. For a gamer lamia, it could just be challenging each other to various games/competitions in every audio. For a wolf roommate it could be jealousy from scent in one, being overprotective in public, or reverse comfort in another. For a fox, it could be the listener showing how much they love the fox in different ways. For a slimegirl, it could be the listener finds different ways to interact with the slimegirl like a blanket, listener is stuck and needs help, or even slimegirl orders ASMR slime and compares 😆

Okay long story short: Firstly, thank you for the detailed and intensive comment, it really sheds new light on things (miss fancy-expressions 😎). Also it totally makes sense that an intodruction is not needed. Rather than going through the hassle of that (and my mind automatically always starts at the very beginning of a story) it is possible to start in the middle. Although, if I am creative enough, maybe there could still be a beginning - but - not necessarily needed. I definetly like your examples they are sooo helpful and good!! Especially the Slime one is SO cute!! I have only ever done two slimes I think, but I would love to do more in the future - slimes are just still unfamiliar terrain for me, especially considering the slime sounds. So the suggestions are rlly rlly nice. Sometimes I am worried that my audience might be bored by am audio that's too simple and "just" e.g. 'lamia gf needs comfort during storm'. From past experience, i observed that those don't perform very well since they are 'just comfort' and there is no entertaining fun factor? At least, that's what it seemed like in the past. Maybe it changed now, especially with a Lamia - since that's a quite reoccurring character on my channel now. I guess I need to ggive it a go first! Thank you so so much again for your help.
