yapp-a-liah is back in action :D regarding the part around 4min where you talked about the last few weeks and others may have it harder... it may be the case that other people have worse life experiences, but that doesn't make your weeks of struggle invalid. mental struggles can happen to everyone equally after all. regarding the audio plans of 2 (or 3) per week, i will repeat myself from a while ago. as much as i like your content, please don't overdo it. or even if you do create the extra ones now during a high creative phase, maybe still stick to your regular schedule and schedule those ahead instead? to kinda create a buffer for times when you have less time due to uni stuff, a creative low idea phase or other iRL stuff that keeps you busy otherwise. in regards to simple or more complex audios, i'd say both have equal rights to exist. it's mostly the mix that matters and what you wanted to achieve with it. you can have simple audios go through the roof successfully because it spoke to a lot of people as well as a complex one "flopping" if you only see the numbers, because it didn't speak to as many people for whatever reason, even though that smaller part of the community still loves it. to streaming i'd say you handle yourself pretty well for someone who only did so a few times. you will get better at it with time once you get more used to it and / or as you notice things you want to improve or focus more on etc. when it comes to the live asmr, you could go with a general plan to do theme xyz and maybe (if you find an easy way to implement it) go for a trigger wheel, where people e.g. donate $1 and it gives you a spin and whatever trigger it lands on get's done for 1 minute or 2. if yt has something like the channel points on twitch you could use those as well for "trigger menus" where you list triggers with a channel point cost to redeem those specific ones. the last alpha wolf one was still nice. it was different to your usual cozy asmr videos, as it had a "darker", more suspense and lore heavy theme to it, but it was very nice to listen to nontheless. and as you said yourself regarding "losing your spark", i had the same thought before i heard you say it. while it's nice to create content that people like, you as the creator should like your work as well. // just as food for thought // if you have the feeling after creating more of them that a majority doesn't like them as much as you do but you want to keep creating those because you like them as much as the smaller rest of the community... i guess you could either put those on your other yt channel, keep them as exclusives here on patreon etc. in specific series or give them specific tags and make the kinda optional to listen to if you build then into your regular series? like if you put them in a series together with regular audios and you know it's technically a part 3 but optional to listen to, e.g. label it as "part 2.5 | lore heavy | dark theme" or something like that as it plays between parts 2 and 3 and while you can reference stuff from other regular parts, maybe don't reference those lore heavy ones on the regular ones to keep the cozy vibe there? for example i know a creator who does cozy roleplay series like you do as well, but also nsfw ones of the same series in a different subscription tier, but keeps those optional to listen to, so that people like me who only listen to the sfw ones don't miss anything. // food for thought END // regarding the suggestions i think here on patreon your chat channel for it is enough. that way people can go into as much detail as they want to while giving you the chance to see it all without having the legitimate privacy concern you mentioned. keep up the great work, but take enough breaks as well Daliah :)

Hi there. Welcome back. Good luck to you about university. Wish you can have relax too. Also good ideas for new audios too. ❤️

I can definitely relate with that lack of motivation for certain university topics, I push myself through by reminding myself I made an active choice to go through graduate studies. Plus, at least in my field, it’s all in service to helping others (I hope, at some point). And trying for 3 audios a week with everything else? Impressive, respect for the effort. I really hope it doesn’t drag, creative efforts becoming a chore is something that always gets my mood messed up for at least a week. So I’m glad you had fun with the lore, and in light of the more negative comments I’d like to add that your world and character building is what got me to both create a Patreon account and subscribe. It’s a real joy to listen to. I can definitely relate to ASMR creator loyalty though… as much as variety is the spice of life those simple comforting audios are best from here simply because of that homey familiar sense to them. Forget browsing YouTube, Dahlia backlogs it is!

I think we all totally understand not having energy and needing breaks, and I definitely get wanting to have classes incorporate practical application and not just be theoretical knowledge/information. I also think it might be a good idea to space out your audios (like others have suggested) so maybe it doesn't stress you as much when you don't have the time or energy to create new content but still have a backlog of things to upload, but it's ultimately your call. And while having a spirit of gratitude is very important, it doesn't mean you're not deserving of comfort and rest when you're feeling down. But in any case, thanks for sharing your life and thoughts. Thanks for all your efforts! We're all cheering you on, daliah!
