Mermay Title: Lani The Merthropologist (Patreon)

Hey folks! We are days away from the release of my mermaid game, and now that the title screen is done, I can share the official name of the game: 

Lani the Merthropologist - Palace of Corel! Kind of a mouthful, but I've never been very good at naming things, haha...

That sketch you might remember from waaaaay back in May is now this really cute title artwork, and you get a more detailed shot of Lani. Quite proud of this one, even though it's relatively simple.

I have added a lot of sound and background music to the game, but still have to add a little bit more. After that, I'm going to make a quick end credits sequence, and then I'll publish! It's hard to believe I'm a few days away from finishing. It's so exciting!

I was hoping I'd be able to post updates to my Youtube channel by now, but unfortunately my lawyer went on summer vacation without telling me (!?!?) and he didn't send the counter notice. Kind of whack, but it's also probably my fault for not sending a follow-up email sooner, womp-womp. Apparently he's back in the office tomorrow, and provided he sends the counter notice right away, it will STILL be another 10 days before my copyright strikes are removed (if all goes well). Since I am going to have this small pad of time, I'm hoping I can also finish a video announcing the game and release that when my channel is restored. 

Until then, you guys will probably be the only ones who know about the mermaid game! A little unintentional exclusivity. I really hope there aren't too many bugs I missed, so you can enjoy the gameplay experience overall.
