16 carriages is so beautiful! I love that your first listen to it was like mine 😂

While Texas Hold ‘Em went number 1 on the charts, 16 Carriages is the superior song. Whenever y’all do get to the album reactions, keep in mind Cowboy Carter was supposed to come before Renaissance. Bey, the writers, and producers she works with really did their big one with Cowboy Carter.

I am a longtime Beyoncé fan, a Black country woman, from Texas... Beyoncé truly made this act ii for me and mine. I have been listening to the album like nonstop.

A lot of songs wind up with a two step line dance. I'm sure they'll have one. I ain't been out dancing like that in a long time.

You're right btw. She has an album with country infused, but it's not like listening to, say, one of the Black country women she features. It's not a straight up hillbilly country album.

Samira

I enjoyed 16 Carriages more than Texas Hold 'em as well, but I will definitely recommend listening to Cowboy Carter, which is a truly a body of work that incorporates a blend of different genres. Nonetheless, great reaction, and I'm so looking forward to the Beyoncé deep dive 🤗
