Static Major wrote a lot of the songs and arranged the harmonies. So if you're wondering where that genius placement comes from, Stephen "Static Major' Garrett!! He had Aaliyah's cadence down to a science!! From Are You That Somebody onward, her biggest hits have his influence all over the tracks R.I.P. to both legends ❤️!!!

Mizzheaven83

She was dating Dame Dash before she died

This reaction did not disappoint! I knew I Refuse would get y’all 😂 one of my favs along with I Care 4 You & Those Were The Days 💜 Group artists I recommend Day 26. Very underrated in my opinion

Tamia ♡

Keaaaaaaa

Charles Brown

Unfortunately, her music wasn't made available for streaming until late 2021, so that's a major reason for the lower than expected streams 😕... hands down her best album and I'm grateful for yalls reaction 💯

Shawnda L

The memory lane this took me down. I would listen to this album riding the bus on my way to my summer job. This and Michale jackson Invincible CD was in rotation. “It’s Whatever” is my number one. The instrumental her voice everything about it love. Always enjoy you guys videos 🤗

Angivens86

For male artists: Usher- Here I Stand or 8701 112- Part 3 or Room 112 Boyz 2 Men- Any Album 🤣 Ginuwine- 100% Ginuwine or The Bachelor Dru Hill- Enter the Dru

Jasmine

She left us on such a high note! 🕊️

Jasmine

I think she actually said “way too sure for me” on Extra Smooth. No discrimination to the shorter kings 😂

Kaejanae

I know y’all would love I refuse that’s one of my favorite songs off of this album. My next album request would be Tinashe’s latest Album Quantum Baby the vocals and production on it is so good.

So Static Major, the artist who sang the hook on Lollipop w/Lil Wayne is the guy you hear singing background for majority of these songs. He is also the guy you hear on AYTS. He wrote a good chunk of her songs. They had a unique singer-songwriter relationship that isn’t highlighted as much as her relationship with Tim & Missy.

JM

RIP Static Major and Baby Girl. They both worked together to create this beautiful album. Top 3: Never No More, Loose Rap, and either Rock the Boat or We Need A Resolution. I was maybe 7 when they came out but I remember watching all of the videos for the singles on 106 & Park clear as day. Timbaland and Missy weren't on speaking terms with Aaliyah during this time so she collaborated with other producers and writers. I Care 4 U (Missy wrote), We Need A Resolution, and Try Again were the only ones produced by Timbaland.

Mia 🤍

We need Ciara old music video reactions

Mia 🤍

Reactions to butterflies, break of dawn, heaven can wait by Michael Jackson

Deja H.🌺

The Weeknd - Beauty Behind The Madness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beyoncé

This Album is a core memory of my childhood and aaliyah does not get enough recognition for what she did for RNB I dont think yall understand how BIG Aaliyah was especially since the work she did before she died was insane we will never know what she couldve gave us after this album

nicole

we need reactions to Amerie, Ashanti, Brandy, Monica, Mya, and Tweet debut albums. y'all gotta go through the OG R&B girls lol.

Omar

I’m ready for the destiny Fulfilled album reaction!

bby.bluesi

This was her best album in my opinion. I love most of the songs 😭 My sister was a major Aaliyah fan and she had the duel disc for this album that also came with the videos. Now that ish goes for hundreds of dollars.

Keaaaaaaa

Y’all should react to Jodeci - diary of a mad band

Felisha DeForge

I hope you guys do her One in A Million album and the videos that went with that album is crazy

James

Timb and Missy were more involved in the One in A Million album than this one. RIP Static Major

James

I Refuse / It’s Whatever / Never No More

Tae Owens

top 3 for me it’s whatever loose rap and read between the lines. loved the reaction hope yall do her album one in a million 🩷

Beyoncé

If yall like timbalands production I recommend Ginuwines “100% Ginuwine“ Album which he also produced👀

Gigi Green

Amazing review fellas!! Can you add Day 26 to the poll? That album is amazing!

Vanessa

Loved this Reaction!! Please React To Chris Brown’s Debut Album !! We Are entering his 20 year anniversary Era next up!!

Alexis Bates

Definitely need to do Chloe trouble in paradise. It’s had me in a chokehold for days

Kenyatta (KD) Smith

I need a Mariah Carey album reaction. I know a lot of people say to do her first album, which is cool for like an introduction to her but EMANCIPATION OF MIMI is the one!! OR if yall want an earlier album, Daydream.

Kenyatta (KD) Smith

Also, Bruno Mars - Unorthodox Jukebox. A banger of an album.

Queen Faith

I care 4 U is my favorite Aaliyah song ever 😩😩😩✨✨✨ might be top 5 favorite songs of all time for me

Tierra

Loved how yall mind was continuously blown with every song! Lol I remember vividly the day we got word of her passing. I add just started 10th grade, Aug 2001 and she was at the top of her career! Every girl wanted to be Aaliyah. I was with my friends at the bus stop and we cried, like nooooo not our girl!! Gone too soon

Tha Dawg

Who cares what Drake did 😂😂 no disrespect to yall
