The Real Will

Y’all need to react to the deluxe album instead

Rodeshia Burks

I appreciate yall for listening! IASF is personally one of my favorites just because I love ballads. She was definitely in her POP bag. The label tried to tell her not to have the black and white theme, but she told them that she could do that and still sell, and she did! This album is her most commercially successful album because of the big hits like Halo and Single ladies.

Hmm maybe i like this album more than i thought when watching this reaction 🫶🏾. Ave Maria is soo beautiful. I just found this smash into you performance recently and obsessed https://youtu.be/wVwf4JSWku8?si=L2926832ODP47FXT

Amia2004

I think 4 is no-skip honestly!!!

Jasmine

Yall have to watch the “I Am…World Tour” dvd

Richalyn Miller

This album truly put her in a pop space. She said the “I Am” side represented her true side & the “Sasha Fierce” side represented her onstage persona. It’s still a good body of work but compared to her other albums, it falls in the rankings. Very excited for y’all reaction to “4.” For context, 4 was released in 2011, a time which was heavy on the pop/EDM sound in the industry and Beyoncé completely disregarded that. Personally, “4” is one of my favorite albums from her

Imani Ali

Can’t wait for 4!

Dmontae Sims

I love this album dearly . It definitely put her in the pop category

Dmontae Sims

Smash into you was on her obsessed movie

ReRe

I was dealing with a breakup when this album came out. 😭lol Watching her perform these songs live is a whole ‘nother experience

Jojojoana

Smash Into You was the credits song of the movie Obsessed, with B and Idris Elba.

Angivens86

I think she could've put Scared Of Lonely, Hello, and Smash Into You with the songs on the first album, and put Avé Maria at the end of the album, and it would have been enough. The rest, were not her, and you can tell she was just trying to find herself, or her sound. Or that she was singing what she thought people wanted to hear versus just doing what she wanted to do. But no matter the song, that VOICE is amazing 😍👑🐝‼️

Tami Hart

Can’t wait for y’all to watch the Homecoming performance at Coachella (Beychella)

defnotdai

This album is my least favorite. It does have hits on it though, but that's like the highlight of it. I pretty much only love the commercial hits from this album (with the exception of smash into you). But I just feel like every album beyond this feels more out there and authentic to her, and less conforming I'd say. But I don't think this one is bad by any means. It just falls short to where she is now. Now 4 is top 3 for me, so I'm excited for that. It has no skips.

juanitabianca

Yall should definitely check out her live performances of sweet dreams medley and hello from her Vegas residency🫶🏽

Beyoncé

I AM WORLD TOUR WATCH THE I AM WORLD TOUR IM BEGGGGGGINGGGG

Nene

Yall gotta get the visuals &’ song reactions to Royalty album Chris Brown

sheabutterauri

Very educational! I learned that this is my least favorite album as well. Can’t wait for the next Beyoncé upload!🫶🏾

Chris Bennett

4 will save yall from this boring album

Dana (Dah-Nah)

is this album my fave? no, it's B'Day but I feel defensive with everyone disrespecting it 😭

Shady Tyrell

I’m probably the only person who likes this album 😭😭 it’s a particular vibe. Chill, laid back slow morning kind of vibe. I feel like you have to like soft pop to appreciate most of the deep cuts from this album. Kinda like John Mayer.

Shady Tyrell

This album was made to be commercially appealing and capture a new audience/general public

Steven Clemons

You're right about this being of a certain time! She was constantly facing criticism in musical media because of her pop lyrics not being about anything. Dc used to write a lot of their own stuff. So much like Whitney, she had to prove she was more than pop music. So this album she called in writers and focused on the storytelling. That's why the so gs aren't necessarily club bangers. She was not only competing with black artists of the time but white ones too. She had to provide a body of work that focused on lyrics and clean delivery. Black folks hated all her adlibs early on and white folks pigeonholed her. So the "i am" cd feels like alternative anthems and the "sasha fierce" cd sounds like pop club hits. It wasn't very radio friendly but it definitely established her as a well rounded artist that could do anything. This album is less of a hit and more of a stepping stone for her to move into the types of albums we know her for today.

Ava

I think u have to be in a specific mood for this but she really made this into what her alter ego represents now

Dar Nicole

I only have 7 songs from this project I still listen to: “Sweet Dreams”, “Diva”, “Ego”, “Scared of Lonely”, “Video Phone”, “Why Don’t You Love Me” & “Poison”. The album still ranks last for me. I do feel like this album was an obligation.

K

Now there’s some things you can’t argue about this album. The vocals are impeccable, the production/arrangement are THERE, the lyrics are THERE. I hate that it’s not one of my favs, but it’s definitely a well produced album fs

Beyoncé

LISTEN FROM NOW ON YOU WILL LISTEN TO BEYONCES MOST INSANE ALBUMS. 4 SELFTITLED AND LEMONADE DAMNNNN

Alexis Bates

Still waiting on that chloe reaction 👀 but yes this album is dont feel was truly her but nothing but up from here

Jai Davis

I agree with the comments that say the Live versions go crazy, but I never play through this album anymore, weakest in her discography tbh. Mind you, her discography is crazy so the bar is astronomical 💫

Omar

It’s not a fan favor, but it’s her most commercially successful which is crazy.

Elijah Beachum

I mean while it’s not her best it’s still a great work and the concept of the divided album was very good

K

After hearing these songs live it’s hard to listen to the album versions.

Jasmine James

Smoove, Smash Into You is the closing song from Obsessed with her & Idris. That's why those wheels turning in your head was saying it played in a movie & I recognized the song immediately from the beginning. That, Scared Of Lonely, & Hello were my faves from the songs you reacted 2 in this video. Vocally, Satellites is beautiful but I wasn't feeling it like that either. This was Bey testing her sound by going more Pop vs RnB & she hadn't perfected yet imo. If you listen 2 Ariana Grande around the same album, it's similar. She was transitioning from a more Pop sound to RnB. Some songs worked & others didn't but it's all about your musical taste.

marcus

yea this is definitely the weakest beyhive was but general public probaly her biggest ablum

ky.

it’s crazy cause this album is a 10/10 yet i think we can all agree it’s among her weakest along with dangerously in love

MK Carter

Her biggest selling album commercially, everyone actually liked this album…it’s just that every time she dropped another album, each album was better than the last. But fun fact: Disappear is a song about her miscarriage!!

Opa Loki

I Am Sasha Fierce was a double album originally, that’s why it’s long. I AM was one and Sasha Fierce was the other. Sasha Fierce had the uptempo bops and I Am had the ballads

Larry

Least fan favorite!?!?? Nah, she was on the music industry necks this whole era!! Plus ya’ll should’ve listened to the album in its entirety!

Larry

Her real day one fans know this album is a MASTERPIECE! She even cleaned up at the Grammys with is album but yeah

Imani

Y'all should react to Miss Tina's book, Matriarch

DeAsia Parchment

People who didn’t think this was a good album aren’t real fans. Cause this album was AHHHMAZING!!

Tahj Jay

Why yall edited out smash into you 😂 I wanted to see it fully
