This has nothing to do with this album, but I always remember this story. My older sister (who is the same age as Beyonce) was visiting the singer Donnie McClurkin's church one Sunday (probably around 2002) and randomly saw the 3 of them walk into his church and sat on the front row. This had to have been around the time Bey was filming for the Austin Powers movie, because she had a big, blonde afro. At some point the 3 of them got up, and sang a song in front of the church, and of course they had to leave early... She really wanted to introduce herself to them. But, yeah, that's a fun fact! LOL

The crazy part is Kelly was in an abusive relationship at the time and I think it either ended or was about to end at the time this album came out.

Watching yall had me smiling ear to ear. OMG…took me back! This why I love music so much. In 2004, I was 18, a senior in HS, graduated, and left home for freshman yr in college. Man! we were so spoiled with great music. That year Destiny Fulfilled dropped, usher confessions, Ciara Goodies, TI urban legend, still listening to OutKast speaker box/love below. Just imagine. Great times frfr! When I left for school my HS boyfriend I found out cheated and got the girl pregnant. 🗣️ THIS Album, especially when “is she the reason” came on…had it on blast in my dorm. I’m singing all the parts! Bey, Kelly, Michelle, all the adlibs! This album is timeless and legendary! 10/10 there will never be another Destiny’s Child ❤️
