Full Tutorial: Vibrant Abstract Watercolor Landscape with Palette Knife

Hey Patrons! 🎨

I’m excited to share this Raw video tutorial with you before it goes live on my website and Skillshare as a course! In this video, I’ll guide you through creating a loose and vibrant abstract landscape using a palette knife and watercolors. You'll get to experiment with layering colors, creating texture, and embracing creative freedom to make something truly unique!

I'll be using this and a few other paintings I've shared here to make a Skillshare course and would love your input.

This is a fun, step-by-step process that’s perfect for anyone looking to break free from traditional watercolor techniques and try something new. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, this tutorial will help you tap into your creativity and create a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Here are the Materials used in the demo:

Rosa Tube paints: Paynes Grey, Cobalt Turquios, Quin Lilac, and Quin Gold. They seem to be out of stock atm, so feel free to try any brand of similar shades or go from some completely new colors!

Schmincke Gold #811 Rich Gold

Arches 140lb Cold Press: 30x11" but use any size

Palette Knife of your choice, and a #1 or #2 Liner brush

Silicon Brush - optional, the back of the liner works just as well or a credit card, calligraphy pen, even a ball point pen (closed).

Thank you so much for your support on Patreon—enjoy the full video, and feel free to share your progress with me!
