YouTube Extended Version: How Different Papers Handle Snow | Mini Winter Watercolor (Patreon)
Content
Snow doesn’t need much detail to feel finished.
In this extended YouTube video, I’m painting a mini winter watercolor scene with a cardinal, keeping the snow soft and simple and using one small pop of red for focus. Working small helps me stay loose, avoid overworking, and enjoy the process — especially with winter scenes.
I’m also sharing how I finish these tiny paintings in acrylic frames so they feel complete, not like a quick study.
This piece is part of a quiet winter series focused on snow, simplicity, and mood.
If you love slower, paint-along videos, I share the complete, extended tutorials like this on Patreon for my paid membership.
You can also gift a Patreon membership to a friend or family member so they can paint along with us too. 🎨 Gift a family member or friend to Paint with us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/KellieChasse/gift
